The friendliness of the staff Great breakfast
Bathroom too small
My husband and I spent an enjoyable eight nights at Hotel du Suede. We found it to be conveniently located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, and an easy walk to the Metro, bus, RER Batobus, and many of the museums and sections of Paris. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our clean, comfortable room was on the first floor overlooking the courtyard, with a spacious bathroom and wonderful shower.
The friendly staff, the comfortable beds, nice decor throughout rooms and public areas.
Only the location: it seemed far from the metro stations, as it is in such a quiet area. The quiet area, however, is in its favour for a good night's sleep!
good location, on rue vaneau, close to musee rodin, pantheon, metro station(vaneau), quietness, good breakfast, friendly and sunny mooded staff.
relatively small room and bed. poor wi-fi connectivity in room
Quiet bedroom (ours at back of hotel) Friendly and helpful reception staff Clean bedroom and bathroom including hairdryer and toiletries Comfortable beds Courtyard
No bar, coffee or food available except for breakfast. Breakfast overpriced. I would recommend the cafe round the corner provides good continental breakfast for €7.50.
Excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms a little small
In a very quiet street and NO noise at night. Very close to a metro, cafes etc.
Room was very small but had a large bathroom. Location was good and had a nice view out of the window. The little courtyard was very pretty and a perfect place to enjoy lunch. Close to metro and other attractions.
Came home late and no one was at the desk. Our key was behind the desk but we were able to access it. Night staff had her boyfriend hanging out with her. Not very professional. The pillows were really flat. Room needs updating and new beds and pillows.
Good location. Close to metro and attractions. Quiet area.
Bed and pillows not comfortable. Room small but large bathroom. No one at desk when we came back late, key was hanging at desk. Staff was not friendly.
The hotel has improved its rooms and in particular the bathroom since our last visit in 2009. George at the reception was excellent.Carrefour Express Around the corner as well as Pharmacy, pattiserie and Tabac des Ministaires.
For the price paid the Hotel could have a minibar, coffee maker and a TV with better reception and more stations
Excellent staff at reception, charming hotel, away from the main tourist areas but still within easy walking distance. Good size bedroom and bathroom
Great reception Clean and nice room for a family with courtyard access Quiet area
Quite a bit away from major attraction, metro station accessible but not offered on website. More for business travel as close to all goverrment offices than for family.
Warm welcome; good location; very quiet; comfortable and free Wi-FI
Bad decoration and in need of renovation. Not clean enough for my taste. Air conditioner was filthy.
Location is nice and safe Price
Room very small Some staff is very rude Shower is not adequate ,so the water splashing everywhere
Good location, safe (plenty surveillance) in a reasonably quiet street; walking distance to several metro stations. Very well maintained and clean. Friendly and helpful multi-lingual staff. Parking in front of entrance free of charge (watch-out: August only!); Considerable discount on room rate (August low season). All in all, a pleasant stay and value for money.
Simple breakfast facilities (I skipped breakfast at the hotel), but plenty of places to eat in the neibourhood.
The staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms were large and had a lot of space for our clothes and luggage.
The sinkhole didn't work and wasn't repaired during our 5 days' stay. The lift broke down and remained unrepaired for 2 days. No fridge in the rooms!!!
Staff were engaging and helpful. Especially George & Diana.
Lift broke down on sixth day and was only fixed about 24 hrs later. Did management undermine the great work done by staff, by not getting this fixed earlier?
St Germain is a very good area with nice boutiques and art galleries. The hotel is a short walk from the Musée d'Orsay. The area feels very safe. It's in a quiet street surrounded by beautiful Parisien buildings.
Breakfast is not included in the price and is a rip-off at €18 per person. Better to eat out at a local café.
Friendly and helpful staff. Proximity to the Muraculous Medal chapel in Rue de Bac.
Staff was friendly, bathroom was recently renovated.
What was billed as a family room was actually a small double-bed room with pull-out sofa and barely enough room to walk between. Hotel is generally tatty and down-at-the-heels. Not sure why it has three stars. Location is lacking in the things you might want, such as restos and cafes.
we loved every thing, this was our 5th year at this hotel the staff are great the hotel clean.you turn left and you are on your way to tower and invalides hospital, right and your on your way to the lourve and notre dame.and the river seine. will be back next year.
Staff were excellent and went out of their way to be helpful.Very friendly and happy to accommodate personal needs such as ice or assistance with wi fi
Pillows were not comfortable and bathroom lacked space for ladies to lay out their toiletries etc.
very nice and clean room!
Breakfast wasn't included, and was expensive
Parking outside in the street free in August. Room was located conveniently on the ground floor.
Noise from the clattering air conditioning unit on the flat roof above our room. Asked them to switch it off at night, they didn'T. They were going to move us, but they didn'T. Avoided breakfast as it looked sparse and expensive, Opted to eat out locally, saves money too.
