Added cost like breakfast, parking and a city tax per person quickly adds up to this hotel being less than a bargain! No staff service between 21h30 and 07h00

Very friendly service good overnight stop

Nice staff of people, safe parking, quiet location. Nice room and bathroom with toiletries, good showering facility. Well worth the price, although it is a bit far from the centre ville. Breakfast was plentiful and although the two rooms were crowded, items were constantly refilled. It appeared to me as if this was a local French favorite staying place. Staff speaks excellent English, but didn't hear anyone in the breakfast rooms talking in English. It was a good price and good facility.

No acensur (lift-elevator) and possibly got bit by a spider or other bug in the room, but not sure since I didn't notice until next morning.

Secure Car Parking

We selected this hotel from Booking.com but when we got there we felt it was really shabby compared to the pictures and the location was nowhere near as central as we thought. We paid our 60Euro as we had committed to the booking, put it down to experience and left never to return. Tim

The lady manageress was very helpful, and spoke English. Our room was clean and neat, if a little dated. Located in centre of town with easy access to shops and restaurants. Secure parking in nearby lock up garage.

Reasonably priced and walkable into the lovely old town centre, about a mile away. Have stayed three times here now, delightful Reception Staff, very helpful and Valerie moved us to a lower room as the second floor was hot on the day we booked in. Pleasant self service continental breakfast. Good value for money, we like it, and parking with a locked gate overnight for the motorbike. Dont be put off by the location, it gets lovely as you get to town centre.

The staff at this hotel are helpful, polite and efficient. Our room was small but comfortable, with a shower room containing a good shower and al the other usual equipment. There is very good outdoor parking, immediately behind the hotel itself, with a gate locked at night. The continental breakfast was very good. The hotel is a good, modest hotel, very suitable for people travelling by car and making a short stop in Troyes.

Our room was on the second floor, up fairly narrow stairs. It would have been difficult if we had been carrying more than one small suitcase. The room was also quite small, right under the sloping roof of the building, with timber beams between floor and ceiling, making it cozy but quite difficult to move about the room, especially for elderly or less agile occupants. The hotel might therefore not be perfect for people of those descriptions, unless a larger and more easily accessible room than ours can be made available. The only window in our room is a sloping skylight (which does not in fact close completely), so that rain during the night would have been disturbing, if only because of the noise. Fortunately for us, it rained only in the morning when we were leaving. The hotel itself is at least one kilometre from the pedestrian area in the middle of Troyes.

The friendliness of the staff

Breakfast is good - yogurts are available in addition to usual bread/jam/cheese/ham. Private parking, gated.

The room is tiny-tiny, and the bathroom is hard to turn around in. I am not a big person - 115lb, and I could barely fit in the space between the sink and the door. Opening doors (entrance, bathroom) clash into each other and the bed. On the upside - It looks recently renovated and clean - except for the terrible very dingy carpeting. I can't compare to other hotels in the area, but given that this one is very far from the center with restaurants (you can't walk - it's at least 40mins walk, and it's not a pleasant walk and it doesn't feel safe - you have to drive) I would try my luck with some other hotel in this price range next time.
