Friendly service. Good location fired stopover.

The Receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming. Although we speak French we noticed she also spoke very good English. The buffet breakfast was very generous and well worth the money. We took our dog with us and he was also made very welcome. Although the hotel is about 1.5km walk from the centre of town it is in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood. The car park was excellent as it was locked after 2200hrs. We would definitely visit it again.

The response from the staff on reception when I said we would be arriving later than expected. They gave us the code to get in and left our room keys at the desk. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly. The breakfast was copious and varied.

I didn't realise there'd be an extra charge for the car park when I booked. The room and bathroom were clean, but very jaded: the soap dish was rusting and the seal between tiles and shower tray were black in places. The shower head easily fell off its grip and was hard to replace. Although it seemed good value when I booked, by the time another 20€ had been added, I think it might have chosen somewhere else.

What we enjoy most is the friendliness op the staff and the atmosphere in the hotel which is that of a small hotel. Besides that we are always welcome with our two small dogs.

We were not too happy about the bathroom where the showercabin was in very poor condition and full of black spots (mildew?)

The staff spoke really good English and was very nice. The parking was spacious and private, perfect for our car full of our belongings. Excellent restaurant nearby with never seen value for money. It was really good for a stop over on a long car journey (France to England) and our 9 month old son was welcome and there were all facilities to accomodate him (cot, highchair). Breakfast was good and good value for money as well.

The toilet seat in our bathroom was broken. The location is a bit outside town, not sure if walking distance, but for us it was not important since we just stoped over for one night. Anyway, the incredible good restaurant nearby makes up for that.

Reasonably priced and walkable into the lovely old town centre, about a mile away. Have stayed three times here now, delightful Reception Staff, very helpful and Valerie moved us to a lower room as the second floor was hot on the day we booked in. Pleasant self service continental breakfast. Good value for money, we like it, and parking with a locked gate overnight for the motorbike. Dont be put off by the location, it gets lovely as you get to town centre.

The staff at this hotel are helpful, polite and efficient. Our room was small but comfortable, with a shower room containing a good shower and al the other usual equipment. There is very good outdoor parking, immediately behind the hotel itself, with a gate locked at night. The continental breakfast was very good. The hotel is a good, modest hotel, very suitable for people travelling by car and making a short stop in Troyes.

Our room was on the second floor, up fairly narrow stairs. It would have been difficult if we had been carrying more than one small suitcase. The room was also quite small, right under the sloping roof of the building, with timber beams between floor and ceiling, making it cozy but quite difficult to move about the room, especially for elderly or less agile occupants. The hotel might therefore not be perfect for people of those descriptions, unless a larger and more easily accessible room than ours can be made available. The only window in our room is a sloping skylight (which does not in fact close completely), so that rain during the night would have been disturbing, if only because of the noise. Fortunately for us, it rained only in the morning when we were leaving. The hotel itself is at least one kilometre from the pedestrian area in the middle of Troyes.

Secure parking for motorcycles.

On a noisy road in hot weather unable to have window open in a room at the fromt of the hotel.
