Hôtel De Vendôme  

The ideal location for perfect romantic weekends and there is no areas to improve concerning stuff and design of rooms.

Without any notice it has been drawn from our account the amount due to 1 day (as a deposit). After the whole repayment the manager promised to repay the deposit in a day after leave but there was no answer and no changes of credit card account.

The location was great, we were greated well by the reception staff & given helpfull advise.

We went to have a celebratory champagne up stairs in the lounge. The young man clearly thought we shouldnt be there. Not very welcoming at all. He could have made this very uncomfortable if we allowed it. The restaurant had a very good menu however it was fully booked out for the 4 days of our stay so we were dissapointed with that but found many other great restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very over priced for what you got. You wonder why the hotel bothers.

Excellent location in the luxury district of Paris. We have been upgraded into a suite that made our stay really fantastic. Best bed I have ever had in hotels. Friendly and highly professional staff. We will always choose this hotel for our new visits to Paris.

Comfort and luxury

For a Paris Hotel the room was a good size and very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The Vendome is in an excellent location for all the major shops and shopping area and also conveniently located 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest tube station.

The staff was extremely attentive and fluent in English. The hotel is situated right in Place Vendome, about a 10 minute walk to the Louvre or Place de la Concorde. All major designers have shops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. And there are two Starbucks about a 10 minute walk as well.

Nothing...just a great place to stay while in Paris.

relatively high price for a breakfast (EUR 25-35) paid on the top of the hotel rate, however it enabled us to know other places to eat.

The "main guy" at the desk is excellent: friendly and superior service, very helpful!

The room was on the small size, although very luxurious.

Middle class hotel

This is an elegant gem of a place. The location was perfect, the concierges and reception staff friendly and helpful. When we arrived, our room and bathroom had been strewn with rose petals, and a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit provided- a lovely touch.

We loved the hotel, but a lounge area to have a drink and relax would have been nice.

The location was fantastic. Close to Shopping and museums. Ideal for 4 days. It's a small boutique hotel without a proper lobby so it feels bit tight at first. But our deluxe room was spacious and clean overlooking place vendome. We used the concierge to book great restaurants and to get museum passes. The staff very nice and accomadating. The restaurant for breakfast was a treat. The cappuccino was excellent.

The location of the hotel was ideal for our plans in Paris. Combined with the metro pass we could get anywhere very easily. The market was close by as well, which was convenient and beautiful shopping all around us. The Louvre and Tulleries were a few blocks away and plenty of bistro's and places to grab a drink. Very quiet and rooms were nicely furnished. The Junior suite our teens had did have a funny odor, even with windows opened all day.

The staff at the front desk was ambiguous about being friendly or helpful. They did satisfy our needs, but never went out of their way to make us feel like guests. It was somewhat like we were troubling them when asking for directions or advice. Several times didn't bother to even look up from the phone as we came and went.
