The Hôtel de Verdun is within close proximity of the Prefecture, the historic quarter (Dukes' Palace, Museums, faïence district) and holy places (Espace Bernadette soubirous, Cathedral, Church of St. Etienne). The individually decorated guest rooms are set around the patio or have a view of the Roger Salengro Park. Each room is equipped with a TV and telephone and some rooms include a fan. Walking distance from centre of Nevers, quite cheap. Wifi internet free of charge. The room situated in the back of the hotel was quite new and not so bad, the room in the front of the hotel however was very outdated, poor shower, noisy. The hallway and stairs need renovation, which is party started but not finished.

The couple that runs it. She didn't speak English and I don't speak French, but I felt very, very welcome. The cleanliness was wonderful for a weary traveler. Wonderful location.

The room was clean and bright and overlooked the park. It was higher than I usually pay. The city seems short onhotel rooms. It was the cheapest avilable room I could find online or by walking the streets. There are cheper nice hotels but they were full.

Good location for visiting our daughter who is on student placement in Nevers. Hotel was welcoming, comfortable and provided good breakfasts. Nothing. We enjoyed our stay.

E' comodo per la posizione se si intende visitare l'Espace Saint Bernadette! Prima colazione sufficiente. Non ha l'ascensore ed è molto scomodo salire con I bagagli poichè la scala è stretta e con porte da spingere! Attenzione alla reception, perchè seppur gentili, in alcuni orari chiude, in particolare la domenica dopo le 11 del mattino non c'è nessuno; si entra con un codice!! Struttura non moderna!

Les Photos produites sur le site ne reflètent pas l'état de propreté limite et l'état vétuste de l'hotel. Nous nous retrouvons en pleine villle avec aucune facilité de parking. Hotel à oublier.

Wij zijn gevlucht en hebben een ander hotel genomen. Wat een oude griebus, het leek wel een opvanghuis. Niet doen, geef een tientje meer uit en je overleeft in ieder geval de nacht. Geen parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. De kamers zijn nu dan wel rookvrij, maar de afgelopen 120 jaar is er flink gestoomd en die geur krijg je niet weg met een keer verven.

L'hôtel a vraiment été une déception. Très sale et peu accueillant c'est la derniere fois que je prend le risque de séjourner dans un tel endroit! L'entrée se trouve à l'interieur d'un pmu via une petite porte (genre cave), la salle de bain, très petite, la taille de la baignoire honteuse (equivalent à la superficie d'un bureau et encore!). Je trouve honteux qu'un tel "hôtel" soit référencer sur un site comme Booking.com qui habituellement n'est pas décevant! Je le déconseille formellement même pour un prix pareil!

Deuxième séjour à l'hôtel de Verdun aussi satisfaisant que le premier. La situation géographique est idéale pour les personnes qui doivent se rendre au centre ville. Le parking gratuit juste en face de l'hôtel constitue la aussi un atout indéniable. Le personnel est très disponible et sympathique, l'ambiance familiale. Isolation pas toujours au top

La taille de la chambre et de la salle de bain.on ne manque pas de place. Les travaux du couloirs ne sont pas finis la porte de la chambre n'était pas esthétique, je me suis crue dans une maison en rénovation où l'on a posé des portes provisoires.
