Warm welcome, personal attention, efficient good quality breakfast, well appointed room. Well place in Beaune for sightseeing and good restaurants.

Rain spoiling the courtyard between the breakfast room and reception. It's slippery, not easy to negotiate when wet and an unnecessary hazard in an otherwise delightful hotel. A glass roof?

The location was great. Specially since I drove in from Vichy. It sits just on the outskirts of the little town. Also the highway is easily accessed from there. Staff where unbelievably friendly and helpful. I was very nervous about the driving, but they where always willing to assist. Also in recommending restaurants. One of my favorite meals where at the little restaurant around the corner from the hotel. I don't remember the name, but it could be affiliated to them. Which made me a little suspicious, but it was authentic and great!

Good location, very short walk to old town. The 6-person apartment in the hotel proper is a very good deal for a family stay.

No lift and the room given were in odd location of the hotel.

The price was a bit expensive for what you got. Also the man on the reception when we arrived was rather surly.

You selection does not mention Art Galleries or Wine Tasting both of these were exceptional in the village;

The in-house computer was slow and often not working.

We had a problem with room 1 which we raised and then after 1 night we were shifted to a new room. In fairness the staff did everything they promised but our first night was really unsatisfactory. I would recommend this hotel, but not room 1 unless they have rectified the issue (smell)

Terrace of the apartment. Location was easy to walk into center of Beaune and also easy to drive out of town. Large bathroom.

The "apartment" isn't really an apartment, it has no kitchen facility of any type. It is really two rooms linked together via a sitting room (which can also be used for additional bed). There is a nice terrace from one of the rooms.

Leaving.after 4 nights.

Everything. We arrived and there was nobody at reception. We shouted and went from room to room and could not find any staff. After a good 10 minutes a female receptionist appeared and looked flustered. We checked in, no information about the hotel or its services were offered and I was told I could use the public carpark even thought I had booked a space. This was later corrected. The room on the first floor was depressing as it had a smallish window and the wall paper was a coffee colour. Only on the third day did we realise that the hotel bar/restaraunt was a 60 mtr walk away but we were never told of this by any of the staff who did not appear to be very friendly. It felt more like a b&b than a hotel.

Staff at reception are rude by taking phone calls (3 times)while I was standing in front of them had way through check in. I would have been faster by leaving the desk and telephoning. We were told that breakfast was included and then made to pay on checkout The hotel had the misfortune to have roadwork re-surfacing right outside when we were there and although this was not the hotel's fault there was no attempt to contact clients with reservations because the hotel was cut off from motorized access from 0800 to 1800- not good with large traveling luggage.

Lovely hotel, close to the centre of Beaune. Very friendly and helpful receptionist who spoke perfect English (if required). She asked us if we would prefer English instead of assuming which was good.We stayed in a standard double room, which was perfectly fine. Extra pillows which is always good, air conditioning and a mini bar. Great selection of foods at breakfast including English Breakfast Tea! Secure parking too.

Shower cubical a little tired and could do with updating. The rest of the bathroom was fine.

Breakfast expensive for what it was. We got just a coffe and got the rest of ours from the Boulangerie opposite.

very friendly welcome. Good recommendations for places to eat. We were stopping overnight on our way home. This hotel was just right. Very clean, good size rooms. Good choice for breakfast. Short walk into town centre, just right.

Air conditioner in the room a little noisy however rather that than no air conditioning!

The service and food was excellent.

Easy access with free parking just 100m away. Friendly staff. The location was excellent, very close to the village. 5 min walking to the village centre.

decor, room, style - everything! Probably best hotel in Beaune

Road works outside, could not get into hotel car park for about 2 hours, not fault of hotel
