Location was very central to everything and our room was relatively quiet. Good croissants for breakfast and the overall service was good. When booking in advance I asked if there was construction still on-going at the hotel, no comments were provided regarding this, when we arrived we were surprised to learn that almost the entire building was scaffolded for exterior construction purposes.. The room we had # 45 is in need of a facelift, the carpets were worn down and the room looked tired... |

Francesco at the front desk was amazing. He was extremely friendly and informative. Even though we knew ahead of time from other reviews about the scaffolding covering the outside of the hotel and the construction noise, the overall stay would have been better without it. Also, one of the breakfast staff men was extremely rude to me one morning for no apparent reason, mixing up my order and insisting that it was my fault making me feel uncomfortable, but not worth starting an argument and ruinning my vacation. |

Excellent staff and very convenient location! Easy to get to by train from cdg and easy access to the Metro. Located very close to Luxemburg gardens and if you like to walk you can easily walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre. We even walked through Paris to Les Invalides and Eiffel. It's a wonderful walk through the city, but a really long one :) The Triple room feels very crammed. |

The staff was very helpful. I liked how they had free wi- fi and internet at the hotel in the lobby. However, make sure you get a room with A/C if needed. We went in July so it was very hot in the room although we had a fan in the room. |

The welcome, the way the staff supported my attempts to speak french, the staff were helpful without being pushy or intrusive. The location was excellent for getting around the city, close to many metro stops, easy access to key sites. The work going on meant that we had scaffolding outside our window so no view and we felt we had to keep the curtains closed in case workers were outside the window. No air con, (although there was a fairly effecive fan). |

The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good. I didn't like the fact that there was no air conditioning, room was extremely small, not enough electrical outlets, the windows were worse than dirty and the scaffolding made me feel unsafe. |

Thdere was a good shower and the room was big enough the wifi was a nightmare - we could barely connect, and then only on a sporadic basis. The water was cut off with no warning one day. |

good location, very central. good value breakfast for E10.00. Staff were friendly and seemed willing to assist. most spoke English very well and happy to help. I was in a single room, bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep for each of the 3 nights that I stayed. hotel is encased in scaffold to enable painting and exterior restoration. very noisy during the day.Work is expected to be completed in mid jury 2009. Room is small, but comfortable. water did not drain very well when using the shower. No air conditioning. I stayed during summer and when leaving windows open the room got quite a lot of street noise. however, windows are double glazed and when shut, this reduced the noise. |

The location is good and it was easy to get around on foot from this hotel. While the hotel advertisement via the internet looks great, it is deceiving as the hotel is not updated to reflect the rating given to it. The hotel lacked the basic ameneties and the rooms lack appeal. The TV in the room lacks any English speaking channels other than the CNN channel. Even thought the location is good, the hotel is not worth the price I paid for the room. |

The staff couldn't be nicer and went out of their way to help us. The location was excellent - 5 minutes from a metro. The room was spacious compared to the standard Parisian hotel room! Would definitely stay again The breakfast probably wasn't worth the 10 euros - but we just went and ate elsewhere, no problemo |

Helpful staff and very convenient location. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Internet available free of charge. No electric outlet in the room, just one in the bathroom. Outside was being renovated so the view from the room was scaffolding, but that is temporary and made it easy to find. |

This hotel is a diamond in the ruff and has tremendous value. The prices are fair for what you get. The hotel staff is great, specially allie (sp?) at the front desk. I was originally in a smoking room and I have allergies and they happily moved me to a bigger room for the same price. They also got us great tickets, front row center, at Le Crazy Horse caberet. It was noisy on saturday night. Some rooms allow smoking. |

The hotel was centrally located in Paris in the Latin Quarter but on a quiet street. It was well served by Bus and Metro routes. The Hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and looked after us well. The room was comfortable and reasonably well eqiuipped. I would stay again next time in Paris. Our Room (No 48) only had one electric socket which was used continually with a fan as the hotel was not air-conditioned. This made charging cameras/mobile phones etc more difficult. |

Good location. Nice clean rooms. Very pleasant staff. Only gripe was the building works - we should have been forewarned (see comments below). They are restoring the outside of the hotel so it was noisy during the day and you could not see outside one of our windows and the other view was blocked by the scaffolding. They should really have told us before we booked and paid or given us a discount. Also rooms were very hot - air con did not seem to be working well. |
