Denfert-Montparnasse

The best thing about the hotel is the location. It's near the metro and close to lots of restaurants, brasseries, fromageries, charcuteries. The staff is friendly and the room is confortable.

The room could be a little more clean. I believe they only really clean the room by the time you make the check out. Don't get it wrong, it's clean, but it could be better ;) also, there is no air condicioning and Paris can be a hot city at summer.

Bathrooms tiles were run down and old looking, and looks like they're replacing that ugly rug so that's a good thing :)

When I woke up in the morning I found I was bitten by the bedbugs. On toillett seat was dirt, not cleaned after previous guest.

Location and direct access to the city, the suburbs and the airport.

Lazy staff, unclean bath towels, and they charged my credit card a non- justified extra 4.5% on checkout!

We liked this hotel for its location right in the heart of the Denfert area. The hotel was close enough to walk to the Orly Bus..only 15 minute walk and lose to metro. Nce young neighborhood. Also hotel was clean with nice hardwood floors where most hotel rooms have carpet. Family friendly staff . Good value for money as te rooms were a pretty good ze compared to other rooms we stayed in Pars.

The hotel does not have air conditioning. Even though we were there in April we had one hot evening that was a bit warm in the room. Hotel could use larger towels.

The room was small but pleasent , it was warm enough the shower was nice, there was a flat screen tv in the room. It was a good nieborhood so was safe for coming late at night.

There was no refrigrartore in the room. We were two but there was one towel in the bathroom,no shampoo, no hair dryer.

When we were here, the building was in renovation, so it was smelt of new paint.

I stayed at this hotel last month and decided to come back for the second time because of the excellent location, price and service provided. It was very convenient to travel (metro, RER, bus) around Paris from here. The neighbourhood was pleasant and I could find what I wanted easily, highly recommended to other travellers.

Denfert-Montparnasse is a clean budget hotel located in the Montparnasse area of Paris on Rue Daguerre a street full of different restaurants (Moroccon, Greek, Japenese) and shops selling vast selections of fresh meat, fish and vegetables and of course cakes and bread. The street is safe and fairly quiet. The staff are friendly and heplful and one of the ladies kindly printed off our boarding passes. The breakfast was ok for €7 - you got a bread role, a croisant, cereal and coffee and tea. I would recomend this hotel and the area. The Moroccon restaruant in the hotel is nice too.

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The room was quite small (but I think most rooms in Paris are like this), but if your going on city break you are not going to spend much time in the hotel.

Hotel's location is good and there are restaurants, fruits stalls, bakery, wine and convenient shops just around the corner. Nearest Metro station is only 10 mins away.

If you are light sleepers, do not open the window as they are trucks loading goods early in the morning.

This is where the transfer bus from Orly Airport stops to exchange passangers with the Metro Train. Denfert-Montparnasse is a really vibrant and interesting place to stay, it has fantastic restaurants and loads of great shops.

Nice position, close to the metro and surrounded by nice restaurants. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Staff kept giving us only one towel although we were a couple. We had to ask for an extra towel everyday. Breakfast had to be confirmed the night before.
