The location is good, a short stroll down the road and your at the Seine. The parking at the underground silo is quite expensive, but convenient. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean
Wi-fi very slow
It was with in walking distance to almost every tourist attraction Luxonbourg park was excellent what ever time of day. The staff where all approachable & most spoke good English as our French is poor.
We liked every thing about it
The location and the hotel as it was.
During our stay it was not more than 24 C. I think the room might be to warm on erally hot summer days. It was already a little to warm during one of the nights.
small shower room
Most hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Clean rooms.
There were no rooms available for 4. You are not supposed to have food or drink in your room. The rooms are very tiny.
Location was excellent. The staff very friendly .Our room was spotless
A bit more space in the rooms would have helped with our luggage. However location made up for this.
Awesome location on a quiet street next to the Sorbonne. Friendly and helpful staff, updated facilities, air conditioning and very very clean. I have stayed in similar Parisian hotels that were noisy, not very clean, and staff was rather snooty. This hotel is such a bargain for a very cheap price. My colleague booked a hotel across the street that was more than double the price - and the only difference was a better breakfast. But his room did not have air conditioning. I will stay at Hotel des 3 Colleges again. Merci beacoup to les staff!
No complaints about anything. For the price, this hotel cannot be beat!
1) The relationship between the very (very!) high price (140 eur each night) and the corridors and room size: these are not hotel corridors or rooms, but real "holes", even if design-furnished. We two could not walk or move in it at the same moment. Really a shame. 2) This is not a families friendly hotel: for the first time in our French travels we paid the baby cot (8 eur each night!) and the milk in the biberon. We were informed about the cost of the bed, but this doesn't mean anything, since we had no choices to do differently, mostly if considering the room size and, consequently, the double bed size: the baby could have never slept with us! 3) The rudeness of the cleaning woman and reception girl in charge on Sat July 12th morning: when we asked the pleasure to have some milk for the baby in the biberon, they were quite puzzled and hardly gave it to us, remarking it was not free, but 1,50 eur charged (... NO COMMENT). Plus, when they gave it to us it was really steaming: I kindly remarked this and asked some cold milk or an ice cube and they replied: "If this does not fit you, you can do it by yourself". NEVER HAPPENED SOMETHING LIKE THAT BEFORE.
The hotel was clean with updated fixtures and well functioning bathroom and shower. The staff was very helpful and more than willing to answer questions and provide assistance. Breakfast was well done and a value compared to nearby restaurants.
The room was a little smaller than expected with no view from the windows. Storage for clothes was a little limited.
Great location Newly refurbished and well appointed, quiet room Good facilities (a/c,elevator, hot water, etc) and services (daily cleaning) Helpful staff
Spotty to nonexistent wi-fi in room Very limited TV channels - unable to ge Wimbledon or Soccer outside of a very limited time
Dirty sheet, small space, high price, unsafty
Not much room to walk around or put luggage.
The cleanliness Courteous staff Comfortable bed
Room was a bit small compared to the photo advertised.
I liked the cleanliness and surtout the location. I am in love with the jardin du Luxembourg.
There was nothing I did not like.
The quality of the facility will surprise you for the price of he room. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly. I stayed in many facilities during my two-and-a-half week trip in Spain and France, and this facility wins hands down. I would recommend it to all who travel to Paris.
There was not a thing I could find fault with.
The rooms are really nice modern but with an old feeling
We very much appreciated the effort to provide our room by 10 am on the first day, although we had not asked for this nor had we expected it. Great location.
We had a good time at this hotel and a great time in Paris!
Small room, but enough for what we needed.
Excellent location, very friendly staff, nice clean room. Wifi worked well. Additional breakfast was ok.
Nice and clean rooms.
Low speed with Wifi. Breakfast was to little food.
The location was good, only five mins walk from the Luxembourg Gardens and train station that took us directly to and from cdg airport. 10 to 20 mins walk brought us to many of the key shopping, restaurant and sightseeing areas in the city and there were nice cafes and shops within 5 mins walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but newly decorated and beds were lovely with great sheets so it was perfect for us. The shower was also great and everything was clean.
It was quiet in the hotel, once the windows were closed, as in the am traffic on the side street got a little loud at times.
Very convenient location, nice view over Sorbonne roofs. Relatively quiet side street. Room and shower spotlessly clean. Very tasty continental breakfast (no buffett) at extra charge. Friendly staff.
Our room smelled a bit of something like newly added insulation material, but no big deal.
Well, I would say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Location could not be better! Just a couple of minutes from the Pantheon, Luxembourg garden, Sorbonna university etc. From the airport just take RER train to Luxembourg garden station - it is a few minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is located on a very quite street of the Latin quarter so no city noises trouble guests. It was absolutely perfect everyday cleaning like on a 5 stars hotel level! The room is rather small but cosy having everything we needed. Anyway, in Paris we were not going to spend time in hotel. We needed a safe, cosy, clean and well located place in the city center and we have received it with no doubt. In addition the staff was very friendly and helpful. We got help with our baggage and a frindly man from the main desk booked a taxi for us. Thank you S.! I will choose this hotel again for my next travel to Paris.
Absolutely nothing to say here. Everything was great!
the location was great. We used to walk most of the time. it is also located close to the luxembourg and st martin metro stations
the room was okay. proably a bit overpriced but I guess its the same for every hotel in paris. the wifi signal was a bit poor and the internel slow. also the walls were kind of thin and you could hear your neighbours talking pretty clearly!
The rooms were newly refurnished and very clean. The bedding was ironed and smelled very fresh! The shower had plenty of hot water and the bathroom was spotless. The location is ideal - near restaurants and walking distance to many of the sights of Paris. The staff was very pleasant and made us feel welcome every time we walked in the door.
The size of the room made it difficult to store luggage, though there were plenty of shelves for clothes etc. While we were there, the wi-fi went out. It was fixed by the next day.
