Sehr freundliches Personal - überall - Lage für Städtereisefreundin wie mich SUPER!

Das Hotel ist alt, schmutzig und die Zimmer sind extrem klein, mit Aussicht auf einen sehr schmutzigen, grauen Innenhof. Die Mitarbeiter nehmen die Kunden knapp zur Kenntnis.

All the maids stuff on the landings, ie toilet rolls, mops etc The breakfast was rubbish. Go out.

Central location right next to the Grand Theatre. We had the largest room which was comfortable if pretty basic.

Very surly male receptionist. Could not even be bothered to say good morning. Breakfast room very narrow and claustrophobic and uninviting dark decor. We went to the central tram station cafe for excellent coffee and croissants each morning for C.5euro for 2 people versus 22 euro for the hotel breakfast.

Bit faded in places. The breakfast was a joke, so we went elswhere

very well situated next to tourist information and tour reservation. Hop on tramway at train station and get off at Quelconces. Just a few steps away. It has a really nice cachet of older hotel with apretty good breakfast.

The hotel is not clean. Dirty curtains in the room and dirty carpet on which I would not waolk barefoot.

The location was convenient

Had to change room because shower/bath could not be used (no shower head holder/no plug for bath). Next room no shower working correctly, bedrom was better size for couple. You are paying for location you wonder how much less you would get from a 2 star hotel. Do not consider it worth the extra paid for 3 star hotel. However, my daughter had a room on 1st floor last year and better experience - so you can be lucky.

It was a great location for walking, shopping and near many restaurants.

The Hotel Des 4 Soeurs is a gem! It is lovely in every respect, with an extremely accommodating and knowledgeable staff. Our every need was met with graciousness. Our room was comfortable and sweet -- more like a bed and breakfast than a downtown hotel. Everything was extremely clean and service was excellent. Like most people, we depend a great deal on access to the internet, and the hotel also met this need with free wi-fi. There are also several wi-fi hot spots in the area. The hotel is located in the prime historic and shopping area of Bordeaux, so we were able to walk to our heart's content to see the beauty of the City! We loved Bordeaux and highly recommend both the City and the Hotel Des 4 Soeurs to anyone considering a visit to this part of France. Oh, and did I even mention the excellent and inexpensive wines of the region? I could go on and on . . . ! A visit here is like visiting a miniature Paris and experiencing France in safety and comfort, within a reasonable budget.

We absolutely loved the Hotel Des 4 Soeurs and would most certainly stay at the Hotel again and again on future trips to Bordeaux.

Fabulous location, right next to Tourism Office and with a tram stop just around the corner. Able to walk around all the main sights from the hotel and it over looks the beautiful place Tourny, Air conditioning was really powerful and kept us lovely and cool in 36 degree heat. If you like character and a nice clean hotel, this is ideal for a short city break. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as 11 Euros was quite a lot and there is a boulangerie just across the square in front of the hotel. The rooms could be larger, but we understand the size is fairly standard in Bordeaux. The light colours of the room mean it is not claustrophobic though.

I liked the central location of the hotel which was very convenient.

More family sized rooms would be very useful.

The location is excellent. Perfect for a city break as it is situated around the corner from the main bus stops, tourist office and main shopping area. It is also one of the quietest City hotels we have ever stayed in! The rooms were absolutely fine, nothing special but perfectly adequate for a short break. The location is the real selling point of this Hotel. We would definitely go back.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better and the staff welcoming and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and appeared to have been recently decorated. The bathroom was also very good with an abundance of hot water. It was right in the centre of Bordeaux and with extremely close access to buses and trams. We only had breakfast there once and, despite other reports, it was cheaper than the cafe next door if you wanted the full continental breakfast. The Tourist Information office was a couple of doors away and the staff there were extremely helpful. I would certainly recommend it.

Excellent location for sightseeing, in and around Bordeaux-close to Tourist Information Office,trams and restaurants.Good sized room in charming old hotel.Staff very helpful.

We were travelling by car and found parking in the underground commercial carpark a little inconvenient.

After long flights from the US through Amsterdam, we arrived hungry and exhausted. The concierge was patient and extremely helpful in providing a map of the city and suggesting a delightful place where we could get a meal before the customary 8:00 dinner hour. The room was small but charming, and the staff could not have been more accommodating.

Fabulous position in the centre of the city. Beautiful old building, especially the breakfast room (though can also recommend breakfast at the adjoining cafe to enjoy the mid-19th century decor). Rooms small but comfortable, staff very pleasant.

Ok location but very smelly areas outside room. Wifi didn't work.
