Located in the heart of Céret, Hotel Vidal is set in an 18th-Century with a décor inspired by many artists. Perpignan is only a 30-minute drive away and the Argeles Beaches are 20 km from the hotel.

Ideally located at the foot of the Albères mountains, with a panoramic view of the Néoulous and the Canigou, Le Neoulous is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation in the mountains.

Good price. Fine location.
WiFi was very unreliable
The position of the hotel in the centre of town. Bed was comfortable.
Only one electric plug in room and that not accessible for someone with limited agility. Nowhere to dry hair by a mirror (the only mirror was in the bathroom with no plug nearby) The room was 'sad' needing a facelift. We had asked for ground floor room and got 4th floor (although we had changed the date of our stay) The wifi definitely did not work in our room and the gentleman on the desk would not accept this. Even if one wanted wifi in the reception area it was difficult to access - very poor indeed. Staff not very helpful. We declined breakfast at 7 euros, suspecting that we would not get a great deal for the money. We would definitely not stay there again - a pity, because with a facelift, update, and more attention to detail it would be a delightful place to stay.
good sized room with comfortable beds. Good view from the windows
It was difficult to get the internet with passwords having to be collected from the desk and a convoluted method of logging on. But ok once mastered.
The simplicity of the hotel and the nice paintings on the wall that reminded of the glorious times of the town and probably of the hotel. It was like going back in a time machine and it was fun
Still, I was expecting Internet and although they claim that there is, it is impossible to connect
Staff very helpful, near to all shops, quiet room, sleep well
ambiance and friendliness of staff and location in busy town square
Central position, convenient for bars, restaurants, galleries, short walk to parking better than forking out money to them.
Charge for basic fat and cargo breaky and car park. Not cheap for what it is.
Loved the arty feel surrounded by reminders of the Picasso link. Breakfast room had character too.
We have stayed at this hotel before and it is a perfect overnight stop
Nothing in particular
The wonderful location and restaurants nearby
The hotel has charm and we booked a "Suite" which had brilliant views of the central part of Ceret through two balcony doors. The hotel has its own bar where you can watch the world go by and just one minutes walk away is the best restaurant in Ceret. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and although we tried our best O-level French, the staff spoke English. Breakfast was a tasty Croissant, bread and Jam. The coffee was lovely. An ideal base for Ceret, Amelie les Bains and the surrounds. It could do with a bit of an upgrade but honestly its has proper old fashioned charm and thinking about it, I would not want to change a thing about this hidden gem.
location, quiet room and very good aircon
Excellent position in a very interesting town. Public car park a short walk away. Very close to various bars and restaurants.
Wi fi very hit and miss unless you are in reception. Although other hotspots all over town.
Muy centrico Habitacion espaciosa
Picasso once stayed in this hotel in Ceret. It has been their claim to fame ever since with every inch of wall space crammed with artwork. (no Picassos sadly) The hotel is situated in the most interesting part of the pretty town of Ceret. The lady on reception is always cheerful and charming.
On market days the market sets up all round the hotel. Great if you don't have to go anywhere but impossible to get your car in or out.
Staff was helpful and friendly; breakfast was lovely; rooms were large and overlooking the main square, as requested. The Saturday market is amazing.
Perfect for an overnight stay or weekend in Ceret. Easy walk to cafés and restaurants in the walled town. Very comfortable bed in S11 on the top floor. Nice breakfast.
Bathroom tricky - both bath tap and shower hose ran at the same time.
Room size was great. Staff were nice, helpful and friendly. I have stayed there beofre and would stay there again.
Would really have liked an electric kettle in the room, but I know that's not common in a lot of places in France
The location was great, the room was comfortable even if the bed was hard for our taste, and the decor of the hotel suited a hotel walking distance from Picasso's haunts.
The front desk service was indifferent, but not a problem. Housekeeping was very loud starting at 8a.m. Still, very good value overall.
wonderful view and balcony. The hotel couldn't be better located
Internet connection was too slow (4th floor)
Large room with great view of historic Ceret village center, location of hotel, quiet room, attached parking garage for motorcycle, near countless resturants.
Located at the heart of Ceret, close to all shops and restaurants. Excellent value for money.
Simple breakfast - no choice
Right in the center of the village and the wonderful Saturday market. Very quiet inside, comfortable room with small tresses. Full of interesting art.
Having questions answered with paper directions not words.
staff very friendly room very clean
would have liked tea making facilities in room.
