The Hôtel des Arcades is in the heart of Autun right across from the train station. It offers spacious rooms, and massages are available. Rooms come equipped with a private bathroom and flat-screen TV with TNT channels. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire building. The hotel was entirely renovated at the beginning of 2010, including the lobby area, the breakfast room and new beds in each room. Parking is available in an enclosed courtyard and a buffet breakfast is served daily. The Hôtel des Arcades is a good base for exploring the region of Morvan and its Gallo-Roman sites. Good beds, nice bathroom, very nice personel ( speak only French). Free parking around hotel. Free wifi did not work. Hotel has no elevator, so heavy suitcases will cause a problem in the narrow alleys. Bad lighting in the hall. Cheap breakfast with very little choice. Only one powerplug in the room, charging 2 phones at the same time was impossible. Very very noisy rooms, mostly due to old wooden floors and thin walls.

Easy to find on arrival & then easy to wander into the town centre. Relatively cheap. Rather tatty, paper peeling off walls, ceiling etc & a musty smell.

Location in extemely nice town, reasonable comfort and very little disturbing. Absolutely nt snobish and that is great. Parking facility in the yard. Unique atmosphere. Occasional language barrier, since we do not speak French.

La literie était bonne. Bon petit déjeûner Le réceptionniste n'était guère accueillant. On avait l'air de le déranger quand nous sommes arrivés. Les coins de la salle de bain ont besoin de recevoir un peu d'eau de javel.... tellement ils sont poussiéreux et limite noirs.... dégageant une odeur gênante.

Proximité de la ville à visiter Bruit de la ventilation durant toute la nuit. Aucune insonorisation (contraireà la publicité). Chahut des voisins de chambes (pas la faute à l'hôtel) jusqu'à 04h30 du matin ! Moisissures dans la salle de bain. Chauffage non réglable. Bruit des portes.

Salle de bain correcte. La situation dans le centre permet de se déplacer à pied. Mal insonorisé, on entendait ce qui se passait dans la chambre d'à côté (bruit des conversations, douches). De plus, dès que les gens marchaient cela faisait beaucoup de bruit car cela craquait.

Le cadre était très agréable, la chambre confortable Impossible de baisser le chauffage dans la chambre, le réceptionniste n'était pas du tout agréable et ne prenait pas en compte nos remarques ou demandes. Nous avions appelé une semaine avant notre séjour pour qu'ils nous mettent à disposition un lit bébé et quand nous sommes arrivés nous ne l'avons pas du car ils l'avaient donné à quelqu'un d'autre!

Le petit déjeuner L'accueuil laisse à désirer, nous avons attendu 15 mn que la réception ouvre alors qu'elle était sensée être ouverte.La personne ( homme), froide et pas chaleureuse.Notre chambre et salle de bain petites et peu éclairée donnant sur une cour.Personne à la réception à notre départ. Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel et ne le recommandons à personne.

La proximité de la Gare si l'on voyage en train, c'est évident. Mais il est très commode aussi pour un voyage en auto. Les chambres sont pratiques avec salles de bain modernes et bien équipées. Le paiment du séjour à l'arrivée. L'absence de personnel pour le petit déjeuner. La médiocre qualité du café.
