The hotel is conveniently on bus route 47 which starts from Gare de L'Est (very near Gare du Nord).
I felt the breakfast at E12.50 was not good value. There was no English Breakfast tea the first morning about which I remonstrated. There was no apology so I said I wouldn't be paying for the juice from the mini-bar (E3). The concierge was most unpleasant. However, when I returned later I was given an apology and a voucher for a free breakfast the next morning when there was an abundance of EB tea.
Lovely staff!!!! Great location, end up in front of Notre-Dame after a short walk, close to metro, clean. Loved it!
The hair-dryer did not work and internet connection was hard to make.
Cleanliness of room and proximity to landmarks such as Notre Dame Cathedral
Cost of breakfast ... 12.50 euro for a very basic continental breakfast was pricey compared to other hotels on this European holiday ;no toast facility and no "English Breakfast "tea available which is rare.
The location was great, the service was great. It was clean and well maintained.
The "queen" bed was two twins pushed together, they didn't quite sit flush with each other so it was just two small beds
It's location and the helpfulness of the reception.
Location was great, within easy walking distance of the Notre Dame, St Michel's fountain, and plenty of Metro stations. Nice neighbourhood with restaurants, cafes and sights all around. Our room looked out over the Arena and was comfortable. Great value for money. Most staff very friendly and remembered our room number when we picked up our key each day- nice personal touch.
One staff member who was extremely abrupt, and made it clear we were bothering him to check-in and check-out.
The Staff was really helpfull and the view from the room was great. The room was big enough and the toilet was new.
breakfast not included
A reasonable hotel at a reasonable price in a very good location. Close to Metro (50 metres) and in Central Latin Quarter tourist areas.
Hotel fit out is feeling dated, needs a refresh.
Perfect location for the metro and restaurants. Very friendly staff and comfortable room with excellent view. Highly recommend.
Would have been lovely to have had coffee/tea making facilities in the bedroom.
The location was convenient to both the 7 and the 8 trains through different stations that were each only a block away. Also within a block was a grocery store and a cheap laundromat, and one morning, there was an open market a block away that offered a unique fresh made breakfast/lunch.
There are no bedside plugins and the room only had 3 outlets, 1 for the minibar, one for the tv, and one spare. If you needed to plug anything in near the bed, it was not possible, but the night clerk was able to find an extension cord for us. The internet pretty much didn't work, but the daytime manager/desk clerk always argued everything was good and great. I found him very unapproachable and service was not 3 star. The beds had thick plastic sheets on them which made them very hot, and since the air conditioner would randomly shut itself off, sleeping was uncomfortable, but as I mentioned, there was no point in addressing it with the front desk. This hotel might be a 3 star in Paris, but I have stayed in better 2 stars within North America. As much as it is in the Latin Quarter, at 11pm, there is nothing open and the streets are empty. We felt dirty and ripped off by this hotel and was the worst stay of our 18 day trip to Europe. Lipstick on a pig.
- bed was too small - room itself was small - breakfast (too much cost) - elevator was broken
location is graet lovely erae quite and clean
The location south of the river in the true Latin Quarter is good..
The lift was out of order for to much of the time. The desk clerk wanted only to get us to use his recommendation for the taxi to the airport or the hotel next door. There was a party in De Arene until 04:30 into Bastille Day which the desk clerk apparently knew nothing about.

Superb staff with a very welcoming attitude !
I had the room overlooking the Arena. Lovely to see the history of course, but it is very noisy during the day, which doesn't matter, but has noisy youths at night, which matters very much.
The location is reasonably good especially for the Notre Dame and the Batobus for seeing other key attractions. The breakfast was good. Staff were helpful.
The room on the second floor was small and the bathroom not good
Yakup at reception was excellent. He was very helpful with everything we needed. The location was quite good-walking distance to Notre Dame cathedral and close to public transport.
The manager tried to book us a taxi to the airport for 65 euros when a taxi driver before our departure date said we shouldn't be paying more than 40 euros! He gives the hotel a bad name.
rooms were too small
The room was small but still very comfy and clean. Also had a balcony. The internet signal was really good and strong. The staff was also very polite and helpful.
Location was excellent
Wi-Fi doesn't work or gets disconnected every 30 seconds. Room was so tiny that we could barely open our luggages
The staff was good.
The room size to the hotel room charges paid was not value for money. The room were clumsy and cramped. I have stayed with better *** star hotels. Overall not at all ok hotel to stay in prime district area.
Breakfast was outstanding. Hotel was very clean and the staff generally helpful.
Rooms were a bit small and cramped, in fact we needed to upgrade once we arrived because the economy room option we initially booked would not have worked.
great location, staff were great, very helpful, good size room good breakfast.
Not much really,it's getting a bit warn for a three star hotel though
The relax atmosphere and warm and friendly staff
Needs to be redecorated
Great location, only a short walk to Notre Dame. In fact, from our 5th floor street-side room (which had a balcony) we were able to see the towers of Notre Dame.
There were two male middle-aged staff at the reception. One was friendly and helpful. The other rude and pushy - trying to sell us tickets for an airport transfer bus. I don't have their names but I bet that it will not take you long to discover who is who.
