good location near metro
Location excellent-only 12 mins. walk to Cite and river. Very helpful reception, polite and informative. Breakfast at €12.50 quite good value considering range of choice available. Was impressed with daily cleaning and standards as a whole.
Wifi dodgy to say the least!! But so what, I visited Paris to see the city, not to sit in front of a screen!
Clean Good staff Close to metro and tourist attractions
Bathroom door didn't close properly and was noisy. Very small room and beds.
Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Hotel is in a great location in the heart of the Latin quarter surrounded by culture, bakeries, restaurants, bars and shops. It's well within walking distance to Paris' major attractions from half a mile to the Tour Bus and Notre Dame to 4 miles to the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero. For those who don't like walking (but that is the best way to see Paris) the Metro stop is very close and there are lots of buses and taxis. Loved the Parisienne windows / doors opening up to the street.
I had to choose between noise and temperature in the hot room. The window did a great job of shutting out noise, but I had to open it because I was too warm. I have to say though that I do get warm easy! I've used many better showers but it did the job.
Staff very helpful, breakfast plentiful for the price
Really nothing, although the walls are a bit thin.
The service provided by the staff at the reception desk
The bath tub was not komfortable
small confortable hotel, in the center of paris
too expensive, small room, the bathroom very small.
Leaving the hotel each day to explore Paris
1. Staff not helpful. There was no kettle in the room so we asked reception for some hot water but they just said no. 2. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was broken. 3. The "double bed" was only slightly bigger than a single. 4. The room itself was only slightly larger than a dog kennel. 5. There was so much noise it disturbed our sleep constantly. I think the previous reviews did not give a true picture of the hotel. Could not recommend this place to anyone.
Location is great everything you need restaurants (we went to Afghani + Turkish + Egyptian pizza), carrefour, bakeries, subway stations, etc even a bus stops just in-front of the hotel (I didn't ride it) are all close so you have easy access to anywhere using the subway system in Paris, our room was a decent size for Paris(to tiny by middle eastern standards) , and quite comfortable with a nice bathroom, the floor was a squeaky one, cleaning is done regularly, and they supply you with plenty of towels. There is a roman arena with a lavish garden on the backside of the hotel our room had a partial view to it enjoyed watching people playing football others doing yoga, kids playing and people jogging since early morning even one evening a band was playing all night with few people attending cos of rain, but it was never noisy. A petite elevator but does the job. The guy at reception Mr.Clement was pretty nice and friendly extremely helpful when we asked for any information, We were given excellent directions to where and when to go. We really appreciated that. WiFi in room was ok. We didn't get any chance to try breakfast as we came back late every night so getting up for the breakfast was difficult but getting fresh muffins and croissants with cheese and other stuffing's was more than satisfying from patisseries and bakeries just steps from hotel. The price was a bit too high (but it might be because we were in the Latin Quarter). We did enjoy our stay and the coffee machine at the entrance was delicious, I won't forget to thank Mr.Yakub (if I got his name right) he booked us a taxi while leaving.
Location was good.
The guy at reception was pretty rude when we left. The guy working at night was really friendly though, just a bit of a sour note to finish on. Also avoid using hotel phone €27 for an 8 minute call to the uk!!!!!!! Crazy
We asked to book us a taxi - the plane was 7am, the taxi should be at 5am... receptionist asked few times about the time of our departure, looked at our tickets, took money in advance - and booked the taxi for 5pm! Instead of 5am!
The staff were both charming and helpful. The hotel is situated in real Paris away from the tourist traps but close to the sights. A Metro line at each end of the block.
The rooms are a little small. We were upgraded to a slightly bigger room when it became available. We were happy enough with what had.
The room was a decent size for Paris, with a nice bathroom. Restaurants, bakeries, subways, etc are all very close so you have easy access to anywhere in Paris. The amphitheatre backing on to the hotel is a great place for a picnic lunch.
Most of the staff were extremely helpful. We were given excellent directions as to the best places to go in the area. We really appreciated that.
It could be rather noisy with people walking around upstairs in the middle of the night. We frequently had to remake the bed as the top covers had just been pulled up. WiFi poor. Not impressed with breakfast. Very limited.
Location is great, the staff helpful and rooms quite comfortable. We emjoyed our stay, and would come back.
The price was a bit too high (but it might be because is Paris). We did not have breakfast one day as we had very early plans and they wouldn't refund even as we gave two days notice.
hotel's location is perfect and so close to center. you can walk to centre in less than 10 minutes. it is too cheap.
The location is great. The bed was very comfortable.
I was a bit dissapointed with the room. There was no outlet near the bed to charge the phone and the wifi was intermittent. The room /style was very dated.
Style, location, ability of the windows to keep the street noise out, shuttle bus to airport.
The price, size of room, lack of grab rail in shower in bath (hate that), plastic mattress cover under sheet, inability of staff to help getting wifi to work, lack of English language channel on TV.Must we have plastic, flexible tumblers when glass ones can be so very cheap these days?
Good location, lovely staff, very clean.
A minor point, but the hairdryer wasn't very good.
Jakob the receptionist was very polite, helpful and approachable. Was a great relief to see him on duty. Unfortunately I could use his service only twice.
The other receptionist was unprofessional, had to wait 5 minutes before he even attends to us, unapproachable, impolite, not customer oriented at all .And the only thing that would stop us from coming back to the hotel is this receptionist.
Reasonably close to metro. Central to Jardins due Luxemburg, museum of Natural History, Jardins desPlantes and Pantheon
Location is pretty convenient
Bare boned facility. There was not even any cups in the room.
position is good , staff very friendly and helpfull
room was very small with tiny beds, fortunately i'm not so fat .
Clean room, easy walking distance to most important sites, near a metro. The view from our balcony at back of hotel was excellent.
Very small room, few double beds in hotel.
