location is ok, wifi connection is good. the hotel price is acceptable.
The place was clean.
No handwash soap. No kettle, no safe. Matrass was caved in. rooms are extremely small. Lift is dangerous. Was not comfortable at all.
A 30% reduction in the room price (i.e. deflation of the inflated price at which I'd booked the room) and the inclusion of a free breakfast (a 9 Euro value).
Lack of internet access and absence of night concierge.
The staff are helpful, the room is a bit small but comfortable enough. Near a metro station. Convenient!
the hotel did not have AC and we only stayed there because it is close to the mairie but we were not aware that the hotel did not have AC.. and paris is hott in the month of August.
Really clean, nice staff.
Very noisy, thin walls make impossible not to ear people flushing toilet, take a shower, talking all night (!), and... other. Not long time of quiet... what a pity, so clean!
Very good value for money, clean and well located for easy travel around Paris.
Breakfast was a little spare but not bad quality
The rooms were very clean, tidy, and modern, with a desk, chair, and stool, good shower with plenty of hot water, hair dryer, and plenty of light and outlets. The staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was not included and there was not much in the way of a lobby to hang out in.
The location is good and the hotel is reasonable. It is fine for a few nights stay but nothing special.
Rooms are very small and no views.
200M from Place D'Italie metro with 3 lines. Direct line from gare du nord. Clean with refurbished interiors. Next to a big police station. Cheap turk/arabic cafes downstairs for breakfast.
Bars ard Place d'Italie too overpriced. Hotel needs to be ard EUR10/night cheaper for this type of 3 star joint.
Simple , elegant.
As before (this was my 2nd visit), I liked how comfy the bed was and the cleanliness of the room, and the friendliness of the staff.
I had two complaints: one was that before when I stayed I had a portable halogen guest light in my room. This time as before I was on a working trip and needed a guest light but none was provided, which was a disappointment and an inconvenience, as I had close paper work to do. The front desk kindly supplied me with a light they were using, but it was very low wattage, and not so helpful ultimately. Please give all your guests lights. You call yourself a hotel of writers so you should expect people who write by night to stay with you. My second dislike was that I could hear my neighbours talking till late in the next room.
Convenient for work. Surprisingly quiet location considering its proximity to the Place d'Italie.
Very small room.
good location, near the metro of Place d'Italie; the staff is very nice, and the rooms are very clean
The room we got was really extremely small
-close to public transportation -quiet street + double insulation of windows (so no noise) -nice welcome -good breakfast, and not too expensive (9€)
-room relatively small but sufficient -some noise from next room! meaning that wall insulation was not optimum, but not too noisy!
Well-situated hotel (few steps from metro Italie), recently renovated. Very friendly staff, 24h/24h available. Good beds.
Room was a bit small (but this is Paris...), there was not much room for luggage / clothes. But all in all these were just minor discomforts.
The room was clean.
They were not flexible to write my details on the invoice!
The staff was excellent Most helpful & location quiet And it has a lift , close to the subway & bus. I highly recommend it.
Not having a bar fridge
Great hotel for a good price. Very friendly night receptionnist and I like the wallpaper in the lobby. Good access to the metrostation
Breakfast is good, but a piece of french chees would be nice...
Very very good beds, we have spent a really good night there! We loved! Recommend!
Have stayed here for years and like the improvements in décor and addition of free Wi-Fi. It's also very quiet (it was winter so windows were shut) considering it's so close to the Place d'Italie. Not the best located hotel for toursits, but ideal for me as I was working in the Bibliothèque Nationale - 20 mins walk away.
The hike in prices since my last stay.
They gave us the room on the basement which is next to the breakfast hall which is noisy in the morning, and we discover this reality once we checked in after a tiring flight, so bad, we cancelled the next 4 day reservation and booked a new room from Wilson Opera near St Lazare Station, at great location and great staff.
Great value for money!!!Clean room, everyday change of towels. Convenient location- 5 minutes from the metro station Place d'Italie. Small and cosy parisian cafes nearby.
Breakfast values should be more reasonable
Small shower, very small space, hard to use shower and WC.
