Many shops around, quiet street (easy to sleep), neat room, nice furnitures...
No mini bar in the room but it is only a 2 stars hotel...
Convenient location not too far from the metro, good price for simple room.
Everything was really first class
Near to train station Front desk guy is very friendly and give good advice Its next to a bakery and a supermarket so there's an easy way to get food
+/- Location: Plus & Minus. It is very close to Opera, Blvd de Clichy (Moulin Rougue), Sacre Cour and even the Arc de Triomphe. BUT it's a good 3/4 - 1 hour walk to the main tourist attractions. However a cab ride to this area is only about 15 euros and very quick. There is a subway stop w/in a 5-10 minute walk if you prefer to do it like the Parisians, but a one way ticket is 4-5 euros per person. + Staff was extremely helpful. We had a few issues that they addressed the same day and promptly, even offering to move rooms. + There's a Parking Garage w/in 50 meters of the hotel. However, parking in Paris sucks on your pocketbook. This one was 27.50/day but that's not too different than the rest of the city. If you take the train into town, there are stations nearby. +/- The price was great but it was also probably a time of year deal. Staying in Paris is expensive, even for a mid-range hotel. + Bottom Line - Very good hotel for the budget traveler and those not needing to be catered to or in the center of action. If you want to come to Paris to be pampered at the hotel, then find another and realize you're gonna pay for it.
- Walls are very thin.. BUT if you're an experienced European traveler, you already know this and won't get too upset about it. That being said don't be like the Americans above us and walk on your heels and/or "wrestle" at 0200. - Bed is.. well a European bed, so it's not very comfortable and ours was two twins pushed together. Again, if you've traveled Europe enough, you know you're not getting a pillow top at a budget hotel. - Website indicated that rooms have balconies, that however is definitely NOT the case. I think we were told that there is only one room with balcony. - Not sure if the heater was broken, non-existent or what, but we did not have heat in the room for four days of 0 Celsius temperatures. They had provided a portable heater, but not all of the rooms had one.
High standard room received for the price of a "low cost" offer. Very satisfied: terrasse, design, cleaness, etc.
The pictures of the room put up on the site and the room provided to us were totally noncomparable. We were completely unhappy with room facility and arrangements.
Opportunity to upgrade Breakfast was good.
The room was still fairly ordinary hate to think what the basic room was like. The room was not cleaned nor bed made up. We had booked two nights
Comfortable place with helpful staff
The staff, especially Afrika the receptionist who was amazing in helping us with a situation we had, went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Morning newspapers available and store close by for extras.
Noisy from Paris traffic . Could have a couple more stations on TV
some members of the staff are unpleasant and factually rude, breakfast is a simpl robbery and they are not flexible or willing to help. i would not recommend this stay
Perfect location, not far by foot Monmartra, but still in quite place. Many restaurants araund, metro near. Staff great, we get sweets on a birthday and nice, white small, cosy rooms. Thank You!
Stayed for four nights. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good (for a continental!), close to the Metro and within easy walking to Montmartre.....lots of places to eat close by. Linen was spotless and beds were comfortable....
The rooms are NOT like the pictures at all and it is a tad run down........
It was close to the Metro
I have tried three times to contact this hotel about additional incorrect charges on our credit card and two weeks they told me that they would reply to my latest email within a week. I'm still waiting. Not impressed.
Unfortunately, the girl who was at the reception, it wasn't polite, couldn't give their reason why they didn't take on time the money to our credit card, so we had to pay cash there or she givent us the keys to the room! i chose, with the best bathroom, it was without door the shower, so all the water going out, we heard absolutely everything at any time. At the next day we leave the hotel for another quality, absoluty not a good place!
The room is small but it very good clean not bad for a couple!!
- very friendly and helpful staff - nice and clean room; this it is not super new and modern hotel BUT real "Paris" hotel with atmosphere and soul - location is good, safe; close to Metro, town centre, local shops and restaurants, Moulin Rouge and much more .... - car park 30sec walk from the hotel
- we do not have anything negative to say
location is nice, breakfast was ok for a girl
was unlucky with broken wifi in the rooms only on the reception - so for business trip was uncomfortable. Hotel is too old and needs renovation - going with suit case on the 4th floor on very dry, narrow steps was scary and heavy! no option to climb there fore elderly people...
Only when i made a complain about the room did i get an upgrade but with an attitude from the staff. The new room was a huge improvement. The bakery from across the room was amazingly delicious
What you see is not what you get. I had booked a standard room and the room that i had booked was completed different to what i got. Room was dark, old, smell awful. The walls are paper thin and could hear everyone walking in and out, even in the stair well.
Was clean & Fairly good room wit a nice bed its just the room was a bit tiny.
The location is a bit far & dead in the night & way too noisy coz of the street.
Well, for the same price in Bangkok or Berlin you would expect much more...but welcome to Paris !! The staff is well organized and the place seems to be consistently well managed. That works well, decent room, no wowww effect for sure but enough to sleep well for a couple of days. Location is always quiet, not nearby attractions, but still near the center of Paris with easy access to metros lines 13 and 2.
On international standards this is expensive for a small room. But this is Paris...
The location was good as it was 2 minutes walk from a public car park. A fairly short walk to the Montmartre etc. Easy access to the metro to then go on and visit other areas like the Eiffel tower, champs-Elysees etc.
Dingy entrance, lobby, reception and common parts, dirty old carpets. Room was ok, clean but small, and hot with no air conditioning. Bathroom very small.
We liked the location of the hotel We liked the breakfast, it was good value
The staff was not very friendly, when ever we had a question we felt that we were a bother to them We had no phone in our room, and when we told them that there was none, they almost did not believe us No a/c so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was very noisy because our room faced the street Our room faced the street and other buildings so we had to be careful when getting dressed or taking a shower ! No elevator, so taking luggage up was quite a chore
