location is nice, breakfast was ok for a girl
was unlucky with broken wifi in the rooms only on the reception - so for business trip was uncomfortable. Hotel is too old and needs renovation - going with suit case on the 4th floor on very dry, narrow steps was scary and heavy! no option to climb there fore elderly people...
Only when i made a complain about the room did i get an upgrade but with an attitude from the staff. The new room was a huge improvement. The bakery from across the room was amazingly delicious
What you see is not what you get. I had booked a standard room and the room that i had booked was completed different to what i got. Room was dark, old, smell awful. The walls are paper thin and could hear everyone walking in and out, even in the stair well.
Was clean & Fairly good room wit a nice bed its just the room was a bit tiny.
The location is a bit far & dead in the night & way too noisy coz of the street.
Well, for the same price in Bangkok or Berlin you would expect much more...but welcome to Paris !! The staff is well organized and the place seems to be consistently well managed. That works well, decent room, no wowww effect for sure but enough to sleep well for a couple of days. Location is always quiet, not nearby attractions, but still near the center of Paris with easy access to metros lines 13 and 2.
On international standards this is expensive for a small room. But this is Paris...
The location was good as it was 2 minutes walk from a public car park. A fairly short walk to the Montmartre etc. Easy access to the metro to then go on and visit other areas like the Eiffel tower, champs-Elysees etc.
Dingy entrance, lobby, reception and common parts, dirty old carpets. Room was ok, clean but small, and hot with no air conditioning. Bathroom very small.
We liked the location of the hotel We liked the breakfast, it was good value
The staff was not very friendly, when ever we had a question we felt that we were a bother to them We had no phone in our room, and when we told them that there was none, they almost did not believe us No a/c so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was very noisy because our room faced the street Our room faced the street and other buildings so we had to be careful when getting dressed or taking a shower ! No elevator, so taking luggage up was quite a chore
Very nice and recently renovated hotel (except for entrance and lobby, so don't get scared after the first steps inside), friendly and helpfull staff in a quiet but very nice area of Paris. Loads of good restaurants close by and Montmartre is just around the corner.
No air conditioning, no wifi on the 3rd floor.
Location. Basic but comfortable and good value.
Decent rooms Wifi Our rooms were the ones that had been done up so no complaints
No air con No tea/coffee making facilities Not enough seating in courtyard Rear courtyard could be noisy very early in the morning
This hotel is in a good location near restaurants and metro stops, the wifi is fairly good and the staff are friendly but not overally helpful. Top tip - try restuarants nearby!
Rooms and hotel are dated. Needs renovation.
We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in a cupboard while we went off to drop off our rental car. The room we were given was on the 4th floor (no elevator) but was well worth the walk up. It was modern and clean and had 2 lovely balconies to look out of. Felt the area was very safe. Supermarket, patisserie, cafes, and restaurants on the same block.
Street noise was a bit of a challenge in the early morning but ear plugs did the trick.
The hotel was better than I expected for it's rating. The room was very clean, with a lovely big shower and very large wash basin (all looked newly refurbished) and a very comfortable bed. It is about 10 mins walk from the Moulin Rouge and the nearest underground station. Many restaurants within easy walking distance and a supermarket next door. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we were on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. Fine for younger people but for people in their sixties like us it was a tough climb after a day of sight-seeing. Next time I would make sure to ask in advance for a room on a lower floor (the hotel was full so not possible to change rooms). They did also say that they are putting in an elevator next year.
Close to metro station, clean room, friendly staff (even though you have to first get used to one of the daily receptionists way. To our culture, he sounded very rude at first. But once I needed his help I got that his way of communicating was that. He was helpful) Great Boulangerie in front of the hotel and a good Carrefour at the corner.
No elevator. If you are taking big luggage, I wouldn't recommend. Nobody helped us with the luggage. No air conditioning. The street was a bit noisy.
Good location, decent break fast.
Very small and congested rooms, extremely small break fast place -suffocating
the hotel was close to everything, close to metro and good restaurants nearby :) very nice staff!
The location The shower room
The staff were very nice but could have been a bit more responsive
Location is great, close to the subway and lots of good restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood.
The room is sometimes a little noisy (especially when your neighboors flush their toilet).
Location and friendliness
Room whilst being well appointed and very comfortable was very noisy.
Relatively poor breakfast menu - no fruit, fresh vegetables, cheese or ham.
. cozy room...good wifi in room... but not in corridors. ..
Not look like a hotel...No lift... a lot of doors to separate rooms... so made us difficult to find our room.
not much really
the room is really old and saggy, had a funny smell, window does not open, there was a fly got trapped inside, staff at the reception did not want to care, overall, pretty poor, stay away is my recommendation
simple and comfortable rooms (the renovated ones) nice, popular, lively neighbourhood few tourists
some rooms still need renovation
