good location, cleanliness and friendly frontdesk
Rooms are hot without air-conditioner in summer.
the price of the room
strange smell inside the room and in the stairs. no lift. room lacks lighting and needs dusting. wifi sometimes cuts off.
Very close to Gare du Nord. Excellent value for money. They emailed me after the reservation to give me important information about the hotel. Very friendly family running the hotel.
Although the room was old-fashioned and shabby, it was perfectly clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a family-run business.
On cannot enter the hotel between 1 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., which might be a problem for some. One can exit the hotel at this time, but one cannot get in!
mould in the bathroom
It was good to have place near the train station, easy access
I was surprise when i found no common reception desk. A place just for an overnight stay.
Across street from Gare du Nord Easy getting in. Can't beat the price...that said, this is strictly a place you want to spend the night if you are short in $ and/or need to take a very early fight out of CDG or train from the station
It's not really a "not like": there is no real reception desk, you need to go into the brasserie and ask. You want to let them know if you are going to leave early as the doors lock and there would not be anyone to unlock the door for you.
Location was great. Gare du Nord station is right in front of the hotel. Cleaning was ok.
The owner of the hotel is closing the hotel 01:00 am so; if you are there at summer time you might be late because the sun goes down at 10:55 so you cant spend time at night in the city. Pillows were not ok.
Handy to cafes and the station.
Thé hotelwas very convienent for catching a nearly train to CDG
The cafe and check in looked a little low budget, and we thought maybe we made the wrong choice in our hotel, but the room was fine. As pictured very "colorful". The bathroom was very modern and clean.
Very convenient location opposite Gare du Nord, and very friendly staff made my first trip to Paris very easy.
My room was facing the street and was quite noisy on some nights even till 2 am. Wifi connection was at times a bit flaky.
Proximity to train station was perfect, very friendly and helpful staff, ample hot water, great for a bargain stay
Bed was super uncomfortable, wifi was spotty, curfew may be an issue for some
The hotel is really really close to Gare du Nord. All eateries are nearby.
Very old and rusty building and deco. The toilet and bathroom were not so clean. No lift in the hotel. Generally the place was musty and old. Having said that, it is difficult to get a decent hotel room in Paris for a reasonable price. In that perspective, this hotel was as expected for the location and cost.
The location area is pretty good, right next to Gare du Nord.
Expected more comfort for this price.
Excellent location for train travellers, also near Montmartre area for good bars and restaurants. Hotel very old fashioned and a bit run down but very clean and quiet. Very comfortable beds.lovely big bath and plenty of hot water.
Curfew at 1am even at weekend. Terrible decor and furnishings.
The room is simple but spacious. Lots if restaurants nearby.
There is no lift in this hotel. The bed is too soft.
Location as we were travelling by train. Very helpful.
Muy casero, I can translate this as slopy, non professional, but it's not exactly.
Receptionist was unwellcoming and grumpy. Dust under bed. Shower support broken. No pillow cases on pillows.
service,stairs to high,not clean
Basic pensione - but what a gem Great location, clean, great staff Yes hotel is basic but definite value for money Felt safe here
Cost of living in Paris - this hotel was the only bargain
Excellent location, you can see Gare du Nord from your window. It's get's a little shady at night but just be wary. The hotel is family owned and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Location - Extremely good. Less than 3 minutes walk from Gare Du Nord. Ample restaurants around. The owner also runs a restaurant.
There is no lift in the building.
Loved the location, right next to metro and train station, literally a 30 sec. walk. Also plenty of good food nearby as well.
No elevator is a bit annoying if you have big bags, the staircases are narrow.
The staff was very kind. Explain to us hoe to get to tourist attraction. The rooms were clean.
There were no lift. We had some trouble taking the luggage in the room. The rooms were small and old.
