The location of the hotel was perfect! Very close to a metro station and walking distance to a few main attractions of Paris City centre. The hotel was clean.
The staff could have been more friendly - this would put me off going again as I felt uncomfortable each time I approached them.
great location. Include breakfast. Reasonably clean
Very noisy at night as there are clubs/bars/theater nearby. No elevator and wifi connection is slow.
clean, near to activities, staff friendly and helpful.
difficult to find, down small alley. Room very hot at night, no real ventilation except for small window.
Proximity to central paris
Tiny toilet and shower.
Price Host simpaty TV
Bad internet connection, sometimes not working Smelly bathroom Uncomfortable bed with no individual pillow No shampoo Noisy stairs and sounds from other rooms
Central location, cheapest I could find which had an en suite bathroom.
10 flights of steep stairs to top floor room.
Easy access to Metro, budget
no elevator even on the 3rd floor
Place was fairly convenient: I walked to Montmartre, the Pompidou, and the Louvre. Served breakfast--nice to have coffee and at least a bread and jam before starting out.
Funny place: half the staff was really nice and the other half was unfriendly. Usually no soap. Trouble with the Internet. TV on the blink.
For shopping location is perfect.
Hotel was nothing special-window of our room was looking on a wall in small courtyard.Bed clothes was with holes and madam at the reception was not very friendly.I glad we stay only for one night.
I've stayed at much worse for the same price in Paris. The area was safe and very close to the metro. The staff was very nice and I felt safe there.
It is hard to find the first time. Bring step be step directions printed out because you can't find the street name on the maps, it is too small. Once we found it (2 hours of being lost) then we were fine with the location later.
the location is good which is just a few steps to the metro station.the room is largh and clean.the private bathroom is largh.
there is no lift and the stairs are narrow.the wifi signal is not strong enough.
Noise No soap
I was looking for a cheap but not unpleasent place near the center of Paris, this hotel fitted the bill. The room was very clean, the carpet was like new, the towels were changed often, the matress was very confortable. The staff ranged from indifferent to good, one of the members spoke english without having to be asked to (I addressed them in french, so I can't tell how many could speak english) and gave good tips on how to buy the RER tickets to Versailles.
The bathroom has no ceramic shower basin, just a drain on a corner of the floor, so the whole bathroom floor ends up sprinkled with water. The shower head squirted more water sideways than in the correct direction. The window curtain should be thicker, doesn't prevent the room from being lighted by early morning sun. Had to climb 70 steps to get to the room, but I was warned about that by other bookin.com reviews, so can´t really complain, and there's just no room for an elevator, but if you have trouble with stairs make sure to get a lower room or avoid
Cleanliness, good location, 20 min walking from the Opera, close to the metro. The yellow line from L'Open Tour stops nearby.
The personnel wasn't so good, thin walls. We were lucky that we didn't have nosy neighbors.
The location is good and very safe. 2 mins to the metro station.
There was no staff at the reception desk when I arrived. I knocked a room which I thought the staff might be inside but still no response. Until I called the hotel did the woman come out from that room. The bathroom is extremely small. What's more, there is no lift. Obviously you'll have a hard time if your take a large suitcase with you.
Not catastrophic, but didn't enjoy anything. Staff ok
Tiny window on top of the wall. Breakfast supposed to be included but not available before 8AM. Bed comfort poor
a few minutes walk from metro.
no lift to any floor! does not fit to adult couples.
Location very good. Clean room. Friendly staff. Would recommend for a young couple if you want a basic place to stay.
The interior could do with being updated. Our double room was very small.
Nothing to like in this hotel every thing is bad
every thing according to the price its not hotel.
Friendly helpful staff. Just off a busy lively area which meant it was quiet for sleeping but near enough to go out and to eat, etc. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Location easy to walk to tourist highlights. Easy walk from Eurostar station.
Loud neighborhood Poor sound isolation
Location was pretty decent.
Our room was very down to earth and not so clean.
We arrived late and we still had a room.
We had 3 big luggages to carry and they made us carry it up 10 flights of stairs to the top floor. Very very basic rooms and nothing to hang the shower on, has to be held it in your hand.
Very nice people
the breakfast, very poor
