Location is in safe area, very close to Metro, short walking distance to shops and restaurant, 3 stops to Opera, and walking distance too... Yannick in the reception was very helpful and nice guy, very clean in shared toilet, basic breakfast with baguette n jam and i can bring it to my room. wifi is fast. Its recommended for people who only need room for sleeping at night with very reasonable price.
Wifi only can be used to one gadget, quite noisy in day time from the school next to the hotel.. Was lost a bit to find the hotel in the first time like mentioned in some review, but ive prepared already :)
Located in a very nice lively area, easy to walk almost all the main sites..
Very poor breakfast, breakfast place is for only 5 people and located just 1 meter distance from reception desk, internet can be used for only one device, no shampoo and proper pillow as well..
Located in a great area, very close to many sights on foot, good metro connection to everywhere.Even though the hotel is in a very quiet and safe street, nice and cheap restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres in the neighbourhood.Staff was very friendly, nice and familiar, English speaking. Good choice for a moderated price, if good sightseeing is more important than trendy accomodation .
No elevator but 5 floors with crooked, narrow stairs. Small rooms no cabinet to put clothes into. Breakfast at the reception, place for only 5 people at the same time with uncomfortable chairs.Same breakfast every day (baguette, butter, jam) but good coffe and tea.
close to the subway
No elevator~need take my 15KG package to the top floor
Very close to metro station. Reasonable price!
No elevator! Live on the top floor and had to carry suitcases all the way up. Not easy to take a shower since there was nothing to hold the shower head on the wall.
Good location. Basic but comfortable and friendly.
Had to lodge window shut with chair. Uneven stairs. Basic Continental breakfast - tea/coffee plus piece of French bread and spread plus jam. Only table in reception area - no other breakfast area bar your own room.
Cattle in room to make tea or coffee Otherwise it's fine
Almost nothing could be liked for this shard bathroom facility
Breakfast included, very nice location as it is at 15 minutes walking to Opera.
No lift and stairs so stretch to managed with your suitcase
The location of the hotel was perfect! Very close to a metro station and walking distance to a few main attractions of Paris City centre. The hotel was clean.
The staff could have been more friendly - this would put me off going again as I felt uncomfortable each time I approached them.
great location. Include breakfast. Reasonably clean
Very noisy at night as there are clubs/bars/theater nearby. No elevator and wifi connection is slow.
Location (15-20 walking to Opera and Lafayette Galleries). Metro station Grand Boulevards is the nearest and is just only 5 minutes walking. Supermarket just in the next block and good restaurants and brasseries near-by
No lift and of course very difficult to go up and down with your baggage. A little difficult to find the 1st time. Better to check very well in Google maps before to go.
clean, near to activities, staff friendly and helpful.
difficult to find, down small alley. Room very hot at night, no real ventilation except for small window.
location is not that bad
unpleasant staff, very poor breakfast served at the reception, old decor
Proximity to central paris
Tiny toilet and shower.
Price Host simpaty TV
Bad internet connection, sometimes not working Smelly bathroom Uncomfortable bed with no individual pillow No shampoo Noisy stairs and sounds from other rooms
Central location, cheapest I could find which had an en suite bathroom.
10 flights of steep stairs to top floor room.
Easy access to Metro, budget
no elevator even on the 3rd floor
Place was fairly convenient: I walked to Montmartre, the Pompidou, and the Louvre. Served breakfast--nice to have coffee and at least a bread and jam before starting out.
Funny place: half the staff was really nice and the other half was unfriendly. Usually no soap. Trouble with the Internet. TV on the blink.
For shopping location is perfect.
Hotel was nothing special-window of our room was looking on a wall in small courtyard.Bed clothes was with holes and madam at the reception was not very friendly.I glad we stay only for one night.
I've stayed at much worse for the same price in Paris. The area was safe and very close to the metro. The staff was very nice and I felt safe there.
It is hard to find the first time. Bring step be step directions printed out because you can't find the street name on the maps, it is too small. Once we found it (2 hours of being lost) then we were fine with the location later.
the location is good which is just a few steps to the metro station.the room is largh and clean.the private bathroom is largh.
there is no lift and the stairs are narrow.the wifi signal is not strong enough.
Noise No soap
I was looking for a cheap but not unpleasent place near the center of Paris, this hotel fitted the bill. The room was very clean, the carpet was like new, the towels were changed often, the matress was very confortable. The staff ranged from indifferent to good, one of the members spoke english without having to be asked to (I addressed them in french, so I can't tell how many could speak english) and gave good tips on how to buy the RER tickets to Versailles.
The bathroom has no ceramic shower basin, just a drain on a corner of the floor, so the whole bathroom floor ends up sprinkled with water. The shower head squirted more water sideways than in the correct direction. The window curtain should be thicker, doesn't prevent the room from being lighted by early morning sun. Had to climb 70 steps to get to the room, but I was warned about that by other bookin.com reviews, so can´t really complain, and there's just no room for an elevator, but if you have trouble with stairs make sure to get a lower room or avoid
