Location is perfect, value for money, english speaking people on the reception
Bathroom was very small
The size or the shower was small.
too expensive for the services offered. Breakfast was just a joke. Wifi was really bad.
The location was perfect for me who love the 6th arrondissement. The staff was friendly, it was a cosy and small hotel and the room was just what I needed. Even a TV with DVD! After check out I really apricciated that I could leave my luggage with them. I really liked my stay and probably go back to stay here again.
Actually there was nothing I didn't like, maybe just the uneven stairs, but Hey, that's Paris!
The proximity of 2 métros Lot`s of café`s and restaurants nearby Easy access to airport CDG by RER Short walking distance to Notre Dame and many other sights Fair price for the level offered Sheets and towels are clean and get changed regularly
There is always a draught from the window Not hot water after 00.00 am The blankets are old and do not keep you warm, no duvets available The elevator starts only in the first floor Room key lies freely on reception desk, thief potential
Horrible room. Dark and bare. Full of angles. Old towels. Dirty. Too expensive for what it offers. To avoid. Much better places in the Marais
Perfect romantic small 2 star Paris hotel. In the middle of St Germain.
The lively street got a bit noisy late at night.
Location was good
The single room was too small as well as the bathroom, not enough space for a proper shower. Stairs up to the first floor.
Location, cleanliness of room, helpfulness of most of the desk staff.
The total uselessness of one desk guy, who consistently failed to help or to follow through when there were problems. The fact that the elevator does not go to the ground floor, so you have to drag luggage up a narrow, winding staircase to get to checkin desk and elevator.
The location was fantastic. So close to all cafés bars and shops. Rue de buci not far. It is a wonderful area to stay for a Paris break. The breakfast was good value for €8 in Paris. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The wifi signal is too weak for emails but ok for general internet but sometimes the power point didn't work to charge the battery.
Very nicely situated, nice area for walking, fair distances to the most important places. Clean rooms.
Small room, noisy street.
loved the neighbouhood
small shower, but OK
tiny dark rooms; loud music on weekend nights from bars on the ground floor and neighbouring buildings
It was very clean and bright. Lovely to stay in. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is great, right next to a Metro station and a ten minute walk from Notre Dame Cathedral. The bed was very comfortable and the wi-fi was free! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!
good location, friendly desk staff
room rather cramped and dreary, little light, worn mattress, thought it expensive compared to other hotels I have used in Paris, Wi-fi did not work my second night there, but was OK in reception area the following morning
The location of the hotel was perfect. Very lively area and some fantastic restaurants and bars - although some where on the pricey side so worth checking prices before settling anywhere for the night! The hotel room/bathroom was clean.
We were in fact speechless when we first entered the room - the pictures give a very different impression. It was small, very dated and tired. A lot of noise from the bars below until the early hours (at least 3am) and with no air con, radiator on and unable to open a window (because of the noise below) it made it difficult to sleep. The staff were not helpful and in fact not overly friendly. Breakfast was added to our bill for the day we arrived at night (10pm) which when queried was reluctantly removed. A silver ring was accidentally left in the room after checking out, on returning 30 mins later to collect it we found a cleaner in the room cleaning for turnaround, on asking if she'd found it she took it off her finger and handed it over - not sure if it was there for safe keeping or not!!
location is great, there are some nice bars around the hotel
Central location, very quiet at night, convenient for retaurants and metro, direct line to Gare du Nord close by, immaculatelyclean bathroom
Access from street to reception via narrow stairs, tiny lift, but inevitable given the architecture of the building
