Welcoming and efficient staff, very clean and well organised. The shower was situtated very low so you couldn't stand under it. The stair ways and halls were a bit dated.

We were only at this hotel for one night. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms/bathrooms were very clean. The rooms were very warm no fans/aircon.

As return guests this is our 5th possibly 6th stay at Cedres. We use it as overnight stop going to south of france / returning from our holidays. It is ideal for short break or overnight stay. Always a friendly efficient check-in, no fuss, comfortable bedrooms and excellent shower. Walking distance to cafes and bars and the many tourist attractions on offer. parking on street or in secure car park. Buffet breakfast taken in the little consevatory area is delightful, typical croissants, toast, various spreads, yoghurt, fruit...something for everone and although they do not lay on a huge spread, buffet is topped up and plentiful for those with a healthier appetite. A hotel with character and charm. The room we had this time looked a little run down in terms of decor however the bathroom was spanking new - a lovely wet room and separate toilet. The bed mattress and base looked new. My impression is that some rooms are undergoing some renovation, The furniture was a little mix and match and the walls seemed to warran a lick of paint. All said, for one night it doesnt really matter but for a special occassion you might want to specify an upgrade if possible.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quite and clean rooms. 10 minutes from the city centre. Good breakfast with a nice garden view. It does not justify 3 stars. Needs renovations!

A small and civilised city hotel, rather more stylish than the pictures on the Booking.com siter suggest. Staff all very pleasant and capable: the friendly welcome on arrival made a very good impression. The bedrooms are not enormous. Don't bother with the hotel garage unless you have a tiny car - it's down a rabbit hole under a nearby house and very very cramped.

We spent one night in Hotel des Cedres on our drive back from the south of France to England. We all thought the hotel excellent value for money and far better than the only marginally cheaper hotel we stayed in on our way down south. Friendly, helpful staff, a comfortable clean triple room and a nice breakfast all in a place with character. What more can you ask for €100?

I have stayed at similar 2 star hotels in the past at much more reasonable rates. Was ok but did not justify 3 stars.

Good location with easy access the city centre. 10-15 minutes walk to the main square in Orleans. Rooms were clean and spacious. While she was the only member of staff we saw during our brief overnight stay, the lady on reception was very polite and helpful. Not the hotel's fault but we did have trouble finding it. The city is a building site at present as they prepare for a new tram system. At one point our satnav took us down a half built tram track. All a bit stressful at the end of a long day's drive!

Large and very quiet room on a back garden. Very friendly staff at the reception when we arrived in the evening. The breakfast room in the garden veranda has limited seating space, so we had breakfast in another room; also, the staff at the reception in the morning was not particularly friendly in dealing with this situation. The hotel is not very close to the city centre on foot. The rooms and hotel facilities could benefit from some renovations.

I was able to book last minute. Too old. Smelly carpets. Needs major renovations. Even as a short transit place, I would not recommend.

The garden was pleasant. The lift was being serviced during our visit and our room was on the second floor! The room appeared in need of refurbishment and there was no proper provision of a shower in the bathroom. The hotel is a considerable (I.e 20 minute) walk from the centre of the town. There is no parking.
