Hotel old and shabby. The central heating was off and the weather was cold. Definitely not a three star, but a two star hote, so the prices are very high.

Good location close to metro, decent sized rooms for Paris. Room facing courtyard was quiet at night. Beds were comfortable. Free internet in rooms was a plus.

Bathroom smelled of mold. Furniture/walls/carpets were in bad need of replacement or renovation. Short on power outlets. Everything had a shabby and worn look. Skip breakfast, 12 euro is pricey and there are some nice bakeries down the street. .

Staff were very polite, price for the location was awesome. Everything is very near from the hotel by walking ( from museum, train station, etc). Room was very clean, Internet signal was very good and the area has many restaurants. Parisian people are very nice! Excellent! Thanks to the staff.

Helpful staff, good location, very French

Tiny bath, but novel!

Perfect location , near many restaurants, museums and Metro. Lovely new bathroom. Very accomodating staff at desk. Nice size room (#122) with lift. Nice big windows we could open.

Couldn't connect to wi-fi with my iPhone or iPad; staff unable to help. 7 am garbage pick up daily on Rue Jacob was very noisy. Bedroom & lounge area need updating to be like others in same chain.

Location was fabulous. Close proximity to tourist spots, metro station to airport, galleries, all types of eating and entertaining spots and shopping.

Hotel only has air-condition for heating. Air-condition was broken on the first night and had to sleep in a frozen room. No apology or respect in return was offered. On the contrary was even charged 3 euros for a small bottle of water. Respect ? - much disappointment !

public area carpets are very dirty. never came across with such stained and dated floors....... single use slippers would be nice to have in the rooms...

Great location, close to shops and cafes in St Germain area. Very comfortable clean room. I was traveling with my college age daughters and the room was perfect for the 3 of us. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Water ran in bathroom pipes all night. It wasn't a big deal. We just closed the door.

This Place was a TOTAL "RIP_OFF OVER PRICED DIRTY and just an out right DUMP. SLEEP in the street if need to but NEVER consider this place NO Breakfest included for the price and owners should be ashamed to call this a hotel. The area if fun and full or resturants.

This hotel is very well positioned, near Saint Germain de Pres Square, Latin Quarter with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so a great place to stay if you want to feel the Parisian atmosphere. The staff is very polite and help you with everything you need. Also, it is close to metro station.

Location

I have stayed here for 20 years and the rooms get smaller and sshabbier as time goes on. It has lost its charm. There is better value in the neighborhood.

The staff were extremely lovely and helpful, also it's location was superb. The decor was very sweet as well, and I loved the firm mattress.

The toilet smelled of urine - it was better the second day of the visit. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottles of water - we had just arrived from the airport after a long haul, we had to drink from the tap.

The room although on the small side, which wasn't a problem, was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent and it is possible to walk to many Paris attractions, it is also surrounded by lots of small restaurants and cafe's which is ideal after a days sight seeing, I would recomend this hotel to anyone wanting a value for money break in the centre of Paris.

There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Location superb! Small and unpretentious. Great continental french breakfast with good coffee served by friendly people. It's a typical small french style hotel with lovely atmosphere, and because of it's great location size clearly doesn't matter!

The central location was excellent--I was travelling with family members who had not been to Paris so being close to the museums and Ile-de-la-Cite was important. There was easy access to the Metro. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is difficult to find hotels in Paris for 3 persons, so this was exceptional. The continental breakfast, while not included in the cost, was reasonable if one was planning on eating at a cafe rather than a boulangerie/patisserie.

No washcloths in the rooms.

Central position

The room was very small and on 5th floor. Fire escape was rudimentary and quite unacceptable for elderly people. The carpeting throughout was rather scruffy and unclean.
