We wanted our first experience in Paris,to be total Paris,this place was nice and clean.no lift above 2nd flr.Staff was very friendly,and helpful with check-in and getting ride to airport we enjoyed our stay of 5 days and would go stay again,especially if we could get front side room,that looks out onto Rue Jacob. back side looks into small courtyard,we did not eat onsite,nice breakfast area, but spendy, with so many pastry/cafe in neighborhood,we ate at different one each morning of our 5 day stay and with in a 4 block radius about 10 cafe/pastry shops

We were looking for live jazz and the staff knew very little about area music scene,especially when there is a Jazz club on same street,but we walked and found live jazz with-in 2 to 3 blocks of hotel.no real shower,skinny tub,but we figured it out

The staff and services were and are excellent..this has been consistent every time i've stayed there..and your location is great. I always recommend your hotel to all my friends when ever they travel to Paris.

Location: my favorite street is rue Jacob.

Room was very small; bathroom also very small.

Wonderful location in the heart of the Paris left bank and on a street of or very near to world famous boutiques, bistros, patisseries/salons and French publishers/book stores. Friendly helpful lovely staff on site 24 hours a day who spoke good English so no communication barriers. Non- smoking which was great. Great computer WiFi access and lovely front reading drawing room with the papers so you could relax in between meals and walking.

The accommodation for single travellers did not entirely feel like three star largely due to access. While the room was comfortable, clean and tidy and fitting with 3 star, access to the rear 5th floor room was difficult, particularly with baggage. There was only a single exit from this room - the stair well beside the lift. In case of fire, on the floors below, there was not an alternative viable exit. The ladder placed high above the stair well, presumbly to vent smoke and so you could get out the sky-light above (there was a lever to access then wind it open), looked like it was meant to be an alternative exit route, but as the skylight was directly above the stairwell, there was no floor or stable spot that you could place the ladder on to climb out. If there's no fire it's no problem, but it all looked a bit alarming and more instructions on this, and in other languages would be good.

Location was fantastic. Walking distance to everything. Easy access by train from the airport. Small room with tired decor but comfortable beds.

Lovelly little Paris hotel

The hotel is very well located: 2 minutes walk to Saint-Germain-des-Prés metro station, and very close to Quartier Latin. The room was clean, cosy, not spacious but charming. The breakfast was good: baguette, rolls, fromage, camembert, jam, cereals, croissant and coffee/tea, maybe not cheapest (12 Eur) but all was fresh and tasty. The people at reception were very polite and helpful both during stay and before, when I contacted the hotel by email.

Very small bathroom with not effective ventilation.

The rooms are clean and funky. A great balance between old and new (we were in 121).

The location was right in the center of all the sights and walking distance to many of them. Very close to metro and St. Germaine! Location, location, location!
