Hôtel Des Deux-Iles  

A beautiful building in a great location. A very short walk takes you to the Cathedral at Notre Dame. Another short walk to the Metro followed by a quick ride takes you to the Louvre. Marvelous restaurants and bakeries nearby. A bit pricey but very clean with a friendly staff.

Very comfortable, small hotel in a perfect location. Friendly staff and although the rooms are very small they are clean and relaxing.

The room was uncomfortably small. No view. Way too expensive for what it was even considering the location.

Location is amazing - cannot get closer to the centre of Paris. Interior design is good - maintaining original features.

We chose the hotel for the location and the character. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless. The rooms were very small and tea making facilities would have been very useful

The location is excellent with a feeling of village life in the middle of Paris. At this time of the year, it was very tranquil and relaxing.

The breakfast was a bit steep for the price but otherwise adequate.

Excellent location. Many restaurants and shopping, convenient to tourist sites, safe neighborhood. While room is very small, bathroom very modern and large!

It is a small, typically french decorated hotel in the absolute centre of Paris in walking distance to anywhere you care to go with maybe the exception of Montmatre. I have stayed in may hotels in Paris and this is the best. If the prices remain as we paid then it is also the best value given the location.

Room quite small but still charming...

How do I put this, I had a vision of Paris that was old men playing accordans on a bridge, couples walking arm in arm in the evening, small cafes with seating on the sidewalk with amazing wine and cheese, people sweeping the streets every morning while the sun came up over a picture perfect Paris street, Isle De St Louis is all of this and more, more so than anywhere else in Paris.. We loved coming back to the Isle every night after being overwhelmed by Paris all day, Isle De St Louis is the perfect, quiet, getaway from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Des Deux- Iles was the perfect place to come home to every night, the rooms were not too small, the bathrooms are a nice size and very clean, ours had a full tub!! My wife loved that. There was a small grocery store within 30 yards and some amazing restaurants within 100 yards of the hotel, you need to try them all. Metro is very close, Notre Dam is right across the river, we walked to almost everything we did. We will be back.
