the location. It's very close to RER Chatelet station and Louvre museum.
It's too small even for me only. It was supposed to two person room. I can't believe it.
Fabulous location Staff were excellent Lovely rooms Very comfortable bed Air con and Wifi good
Breakfast was extremely expensive, but it was easy to buy locally
Location close to many things we wanted to visit.
Room too small. Could not fit and open two suitcases in the room
location, location, location
-Unfriendly stuff -Small, noisy rooms
Being in the middle of paris , fantastic value for money, room was very clean, very well maintained, the staff were unbelievably helpful and very polite. Will be returning without hesitation.
Easy to reach by RER B line from both CDG and Orly airports. Incredibly central location; quick walk to the Louvre, Tuileries, Ile de la Cite, Les Halles. Lots of restaurants and cafes all around it. Paris rent-a-bike stand across the road. Lovely cozy atmosphere, more like boutique hotel. Great service from all, especially front desk. Baggage storage service. Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Quiet street, considering the location.
Very small lift, only fitting 1 person with luggage, or 2 people without (in a pinch). Bathroom shower has no curtain and is hand-held, which makes it awkward for using shampoos etc.
Great customer service.Friendly and attentive. Very close to everything but far enough away from the noise of it all.
Everything apart from the ONE very small lift that was used by all guests and cleaning staff
Having to wait for and use the ONE very small lift.
The staffs were excellent, very friendly, accommodating and beyond. Location is perfect, walking distant to Louvre and other great attractions. Surrounded also with great restaurants
Small rooms. Slow wifi
The chaotic front desk; lost letters, incorrect booking, WiFi incorrectly set up. Room not ready on arrival. Fault in room service every day; no towels, not coffee/tea. Noise of people and dog from adjacent rooms. No English language TV.
The history behind the the old buildings. The many different variety of restaurants.
Smokers being aloud to smoke in restaurants.
Location was really good. Staff were friendly
The room was tiny. There was about 30 cm between the bed and the side walls (on both sides). I read reviews that the rooms were small, but even for Paris they are small! Wifi is a bit temperamental.
Even if it was a single room it was a little too small
Friendly staff. Hotel has a certain charm and is very well located for access to the mains station for transfer to Charles DG airport.
All facilities are fine for the price.
The reception clerk was apologetic for the problem with the hotel reservation system. Others were impacted by errors in the hotel reservation system. The reception clerk was able to arrange for rooms for two couples at a nearby hotel.
The Ducs de Bourgogne Hotel failed to have a record of our reservation and did not have room for another couple who made separate reservations for the same night.
The location is perfect: two blocks from the Louvre, a block from Les Halles. The hotel is stylish and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. This will be my regular hotel henceforth on my frequent trips to Paris.
The walls are thin so if the people in the next room are noisy, it is bothersome. Also, the breakfast is terrible: the croissants come in a plastic bag from the grocery store, the bread is stale, and one is allowed only one cup of coffee. This should be changed
The hotel was in a great location, and the balcony was wonderful to sit out on and watch the people pass by
The room was a little small, but compared to my previous experience in Paris, it was on par
Although the staff said it should not be problem but Wifi really couldn't connected if there're any machines above 2..
We were in two separate rooms but I needed to be near my mother because she is diabetic and I need to inject her with her insulin. My mom requested if she could have a room on the first floor because her wheelchair was difficult to fit in the elevator. The attendant not only moved my mom downstairs but also moved me so that I could be on the same floor (level floor). These rooms were an upgrade and they honored our original reservation rate. The location is perfect to walk to the Louvre and close to the river and the L'Open bus (hop on hop off). The restaurants on the same side of the street served great food and were very attentive and have an outdoor TV and we saw the World Cup games at night. It a perfect hotel especially for family and saves on taxi fees. The staff is AWESOME! The rooms are a little small but so clean, air conditioned and decor so quaint.
The location was perfect for walking to shopping, food, the Louvre, and Notre Dame.
The rooms were small and overpriced, but that is typical for Paris.
It's located just around the corner from the louvre and a short walk to the river. Cafés and restaurants nearby. The staff stored our bikes in the small rear courtyard ( we cycled to paris)
Small rooms , rooms at back of hotel have no view . Small hotel at high price
Excellent location. Excellent value for money. Great finishing.
Staff first settled us in an already occupied room (???), which we only discovered after half an hour (seeing others' bags). They then resettled us in another room, offering apologies, but not much more (apart from mentioning that their boss would kill them). Parking on the street is absolutely impossible (but that's understandable). Count on some 25 euros/day for underground parking. Don't even think about looking for a street parking lot - I spent some 1,5 hours being carried away by traffic.
Room rate a bit expensive for the type of room
location is very good. Near restaurants and museums. The room was very small, but quiet and the bathroom was very clean.
Booking.com somehow does not make clear the costs of breakfast--it seems to be included when we book, but not when we check out and pay the bill. Nor when we check in are we asked if we would like breakfast. The charge here was 17 euros for the same mediocre fare.
