Very warm, clean and comfortable
Great location, well situated a short walk from the centre, Les Halles area and restaurants. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The indoor garage was much appreciated too.
I would prefer it if the wifi worked in the rooms.
The location and the welcome. Excellent value for money in a lovely city.
Alexandra at the front desk: excellent attitude. Location; breakfast.
Beds can't be any smaller even if they tried, which they might have. Rooms impersonal, fit for a group stopover but nothing else.
Breakfast Wifi Room
Parking Further from station than I expectrd
The staff are really great in this place. The hotel was clean and freash and its in a great location for the town centre.
The parking isnt in a good place at all its a good 15 minuet walk to the hotel and the carpark is a public car park so im not sure if its that secure, I was worried as we had a boot full of skiing equipment but there are no other options.
1) Location is very good, right on the "path of the owl". 2) Rooms are big. 3) We asked for rooms on the top floor with the booking and got it. 4) Own parking.
1) We arrived 07.01.2015 and found out that the hotel is undergoing exterior maintenance. I have no problem with viewing maintenance constructions from my window, but non-stop drilling right in the head starting at 8:30 is too much. Noone in hotel said a word about that. Looks like the maintenance will be going for 2-3 months more so be aware of that if you plan to book this hotel.
The hotel itself was in the process of renovation so the outside was not that great but the location was good.
The staff's attitude is not up to my standard. I understand this is not Ritz Carlton but the hospitality industry is called hospitality for a reason. The staff did not make me feel warm and welcome. We were asked if we wanted a breakfast and we asked if we could just let them know in the morning, and they reluctantly asked if we could let them know at night. This is something I would expect from bed and breakfast but not from a hotel even a three star one. The next thing is we paid for their parking space and in the morning, we were walking around town in the morning so we came back late and we were given a "lecture" by the staff at the hotel how much "inconvenience" we caused them. We explained that we did not understand the policy when we were explained before leaving the hotel in the morning and we offered to pay for the extra times. 12 Euros was not a problem for us. However, the staff attitude was for us to "apologize" for their inconvenience. We understood that it was inconvenient and that was why we said we would PAY for the inconvenience, which they did not accept but to be "lectured" by a hotel staff. I am not sure what kind of "hospitality service" that this hotel staff think they were giving to their customers. Saying once was enough but to keep repeating it over and over again was excessive. We felt that the staff think he was an adult giving lecture to children and we were not children. We are all in our 30's. Also loud noise in the morning... not very impressed with that. Given the recent experience, we would stay at the other hotels in the area if we go back to Dijon again.
The location of the hotel is perfect for strolling around in downtown offering lots of places to visit, to do shopping or to eat out. When you get tired, you can return to you room quickly, because ti is close to everything It is also a good base to discover the region. Some of the staff were very helpful to provide information, some were less on the top, but the former prevailed. We liked the small balcony too.
Wifi was virtually not available and they could not fix this problem in spite of our complain. They have a serious problem with the temperature of water in the bathroom. It changes abruptly back and force, so be prepared for quick jumps!
Street parking was available, and plenty of restaurants nearby
Location, helpful staff, good breakfast
Parking was quite difficult to find and quite expensive.
Location was excellent.
The uncomfortable bed!
check out at 11.
Location is fab, Staff very helpful, secure parking a bonus.
The location of the hotel was superb, right in the old centre of Dijon. The rooms were clean and functional, the beds very comfortable after a long day's drive. The reception area is tastefully furnished, so are the rooms although quite sparse.
We booked two rooms at the same time and found that these were on different floors. It worked out, as the children are older but might be an issue with younger children. The superior bedroom was by the breakfast area, so got a little noisy in the morning.
Staff were very good. Room simple but comfortable, and the location is excellent.
The breakfast was not good, hardly any choices, not even an egg. Not value for money.
+ Staff + Location + Value for money
Location was great, very easy to walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Useful to have access to the parking as well. Although a short walk away this is understandable if you want the location for staying. Staff very helpful, good size room with everyhing we needed. Clean and modern. Merci !
Close to the Museum and the historical town center. Easy parking on saturday night when going back to the horel. Our room was comfortable and quiet.
A bit difficult to get there by car given the number of one way streets. Fortunately we have the Satnav.
The hotel is in the middle of the old town. Parking availible
Cleanness, simplicity of the decoration, Staff were kind and well educated
The system of the shower which water can go out from the shower space due to the opening space. I wanted to have a bath tab too.
A good size room and excellent size bathroom (with proper bath). Both very clean. Welcoming coffee in reception. Very good breakfast with wonderful local jams. Efficient and friendly staff.
Sadly the frontage of the hotel is under-going restoration, so looked depressing from the outside. Even though it was raining, it would have been nice if there had been a table and chairs in the little outside space for dedicated smokers like me! Rather ugly large couch (I assume a sofa-bed) in the bedroom. No extras such as cotton wool or tissues in the bathroom.
Great breakfast; staff were great, clean hotel, no issues. Parking was great (private inside). Excellent location. Very reasonable price.
Internet (wifi) was a bit sporadic but did work.
location ,and near the little town bus service
I have no issues
