It very convenient to be able to walk to into the town, but far enough away to be quiet and comfortable. The view was very picturesque. It was quite charming. It needs a better bar service. |

The hotel was much better than the previous feedback we were reading lead us to believe. It was walking distance to the lake and to town. The walk took 20 mins at a slow pace along the water, however there was a cheap bus service if you didn't want to walk. The room was of a decent size. The WIFI was not working, which we wanted to use, but they were apologetic |

Away from the congestion of the main tourist center of Annecy, yet an easy walk to the lake or the town. Very quiet setting on the edge of the forest. Friendly staff. WiFi is via in-room power-line modem so the signal is automatically strong/usable. |

View of Lake Annecy, easy distance to old town of Annecy and its many restaurants. Sailing/bicycling round the lake and easy distance to drive into the Mountains. Only 30 mins from Geneva. Thought having to pay extra 10 euros each for breakfast was a bit much. |

Great views of the lake. Whilst we stayed in Nov, could see that the centre of the old town would be within comfortable walking distance to be very enjoyable. Whilst our room had two storeys, the staircase made the room a little cramped. Lovely lounge area with board games and books available Didn't understand earlier boiler comment in the bathroom until we did the same!!! |

the location, internet in the room that one of the hotel's rules is that one has to leave the key unattended in the hotel's hall when going out for dinner.We were told that we "must" do that but at the same the hotel does not take any responsaibility if anything is stolen from the room.Beside, the reception desk and the pc at night is protected by an iron gate.We felt badly treated and ordered about.Dont stay if you want good time! |

A prime location just far enough away from the town to work up an appetite as you walk to the centre (10 mins). An excellent view, and good parking. |

I liked the private terrace that my room had. The views from the hotel grounds were good and it was useful to be able to hire a cycle at the hotel |

nice views, out of town but near enough to walk in. Internet access, mini-bar (at reasonable prices) and good choice of channels on the TV noisy plumbing, boiler above toilet was inappropriately sited and was (annoyingly) good for banging your head on |

Nice view from our room of Lake Annecy Staff were not very friendly. Breakfast was poor and cost extra. No restaurant for lunch or dinner. |

Quiet out of town position with a good view of the lake. The bath was only suitable for a baby, the balcony was very small and there was no air conditioning. The result was that for the extra 50 Euros the room was poor value for money. |

The access to the internet was made very easy by the loan of a WiFi adapter to use in the hotel room. It would be nice to have the facility to make tea and coffee in the room, something the French seem not to bother with. |
