Hotel des Marquisats  

Hotel is located in 15 min walk along the lake from the old town. The place is very green and quiet. Bus stop is in front of the hotel. The public beach is just across the street (nice lawn, natural shadow from the trees, transparant water +21C, swans & ducks). The hotel occupies an old but freshly renovated building with elevator, cosy breakfast room and outside terrace. Our room was giving a nice view at the lake. The personnel was very nice and efficient. Breakfast is very good (cold buffet). Overall impression is absolutely relaxing. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

Loved the location - a nice distance from the town so you can avoid the noise and bustle but have a lovely walk along the lake front to the town. The hotel was very clean and quiet and we had a view of the lake from our window. Loved the town of Annecy!

Would have liked to have perhaps a kettle in the room so we could have a cup of tea or coffee at night.

It is without any doubt one of the best hotels in the area. I say this with some reservation as I want to make sure the next time I book I can get a room.

Nothing is wrong

It's a very pretty, comfortable, friendly and welcoming hotel. The breakfasts are very good - the local cheese choice is excellent. The location's great and the rooms are clean and warm. Free Wi-fi is a useful bonus and the TV has BBC English news, rare en France. It's in a good location, close to the lakeside and the town, not far at all from local amenities. The parking is good, too. Oooh, and breakfast in bed is an option we'll try next time. We loved it, as we did on a previous visit. Thanks to all concerned.

Bathroom was new. Location was good

Room had very little daylight , was very small , you could just get round the bed. Breakfast was not very good with lukewarm coffee. Also expensive at 11 euros. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.. All in all very depressing.

The receptionist was the resorts best asset and service was satisfactory at best

Having Managed several resorts and travelled globally with my partner this is the only resort we have never given a negative rating .... need I say more - do not waste your time and money or you could even catch medical problems from the mould in the bathroom

Hotel manager lady´s extreme helpfulness in finding my wife´s lost handbag on an "aire", 200 km.s away. We are grateful.

location and good parking.

Location is ideal for walking into the old town of Annecy. Best to get a room with a lake view as this is superb.Free and convinient parking at the hotel.

Not all rooms have a stand up shower - ours had a bath with hand held attachment.

15 minutes stroll from the Old Town, quiet, relaxing, convenient and secluded - perfect city location

The hotel was well positioned, our room had a view of the lake. The staff were friendly and obliging and the rooms were clean and tidy.

Our bathroom had been updated and modernised but the bedroom was ready for refurbishing ( walls/ ceiling etc )

The view! Oh. My. God. The view! Breakfast was also really good. Very reliable wifi in our room, superfast.

There is about 100m of reasonably steep driveway that you have to walk/ride up to get from the main road to the hotel, but it won't kill you.

Simply a super hotel great value for money in this location.
