Saint-Germain - Luxembourg, 75006 Paris (Show map) Good, Score from 270 reviews“With one exception, the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating with our lack of French. familiarity - we have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times. The breakfasts are good by the standards of 3 star Parisienne hotels The rooms are cramped and some are very dark

The hotel decor had a very 'French' feel and staff were very welcoming and helpfu., Centrally located it was the ideal place to spend a couple of nights in Paris. The beds were very comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent, as a party of 6 we re-arranged the tables so that we could sit together, much to the amusement of staff! I would definitely recommend it and use the hotel again. More could be made of the sous sol, this would be a great area for relaxing with friends/other guests over a drink in the evening. The rooms were on the small side but well appointed and good use was made of the space available.

The room was small and had no coffee/tea facilities or fridge. However it was fine for a short break and the location was fabulous. You could walk to most sights and there were great cafes and a market close by.

It has always been my "go to" hotel in Paris because of location, ambience, friendliness and value. The one time I booked another hotel I wasted a whole day switching back, and will never make that mistake again. Whether it's months or years since my last visit, coming there is like visiting an old friend who only ages well - it all feels so comfortable.

It is a quiet, friendly, little hotel in a fantastic location for shopping, visiting museums and wandering around boutiques and art galleries, bars and bistros The bedroom and bathroom were tiny, indeed the whole hotel was cramped

I had stayed there before and like the pleasant staff and good location in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. The garden is a plus too. The rooms was very small - the shower room particularly so. Generally comfortable but could do with redecoration. A bit expensive for what you get, but price no doubt driven by location.

Location Ac did not work, rooms were incredibly small, even by Europe standards, bathroom only big enough for one person at a time, and the elevator was absolutely the slowest I have ever been on--used the stairs, which were faster, even though our room was on the 5th (6th in U.S.) floor. Breakfast, for the price, was inadequate also. Because ac did not work, slept with the window open, which meant a very early wake up call from the staff watering plants in the morning just outside the hotel entrance. In short, this hotel is not a three star and not worth the price.

Great location, very nice lobby and breakfast room. Small but charming room, small but nice bathroom, pleasant and helpful staff. Quiet considering how active the area. One of the nicest streets in Paris with many restaurants and boutiques

I loved the location. Convenient to all of my meetings, easy access to food, metro and rer Hotel staff did not clean the room unless one specifically placed the "clean up rom" card outside the door. The bathroom had no proper ventilation and the steam stayed in the room for hours.

Small, charming rooms on a quiet street. Exposed beams, silk upholstered walls and a window to open on the patio, a view of the rooftops and steeple of St. Germain Eglise. Great location and a really friendly staff. more hangers and a luggage stand, in the room.

The friendly staff were helpful and charming. The hotel is situated just behind the eglise st germain and is in a perfect location for exploring both banks of the Seine The room, even by left bank standards, was tiny and decorated with regency red striped wall paper on every surface. Two people could not pass each other without one waiting for the other to move first. The ' marble bathroom ' was built for Lilliputians . Oh yes, and overpriced 184 euros a night.

Location was fantastic and room was surprisingly larger than I was expected. A great find at a great price, would stay again and recommend to friends. As the room are off a staircase - you can hear a bit of corridor noise - but it is not bad.

An intimate hotel located perfectly for the St Germain experience. The rooms in the back have low ceilings but since we are not basketball players, this contributes to the sense of cozy comfort. The view out the back is of the tea garden courtyard and other 19th century buildings. Only one modern pile intrudes and that from a distance. Otherwise, with the exception of the contrails from jets, one is looking at Paris 1880. downstairs are beautiful shops, cafes and galleries. The neighborhood is quiet and the back rooms are suitable for a sleep cure. Prices reasonable. We liked it. We will go back. A mature couple who enjoy walking and observing.

THe courteous, helpful staff; the location, near museums and shops and restaurants and friends; the design; I wish the shower had been a little bigger, and had a shower curtain of some kind, and wasn't as slippery underfoot. Otherwise, all was perfect.
