It is easy to access from the motorway. It is in a quiet village with a good restaurant which gives good food and value for money. We have used it on previous trips to the Alps and it is a good distance from ferry ports to make a stop-over. Nice sized rooms.

The hotel was located just off the autoroute and was suitable for an overnight stay. The associated restaurant was located about 200 - 300 metres down the road. The food and service there was excellent. In the morning (2/6/2011) no member of staff turned up to a) provide the continental breakfast and b) take the payment for the room. As we had a 350 mile journey that day we could not wait so we had to leave without breakfast (easily solved at the first services on the autoroute) and without paying. We assume that as Booking.com has my credit card number, the owner will claim the payment from you, but nothing has yet appeared on my credit card statement.

We wer put in a room facing the noise of trucks on the road 15 metres away and were told we could not have a room at the rear although they were empty because it was a Sunday. Thr shower leaked all over the floor. We would never stay there again.

This hotel is spotlessly clean and conveniently situated. It's a bit basic, but very useful as a stopover on a longer journey or as an inexpensive base. The restaurant nearby is excellent.

Location The hotel was very badly maintained. The rooms were not clean. The security gates wear broken and were never shut. The fire alarm was hanging off the wall by its wires. There was only enough soap supplied for one person and not replenished for the second night. The towels could not be dried and were not replaced for the second night. No staff could be found between 7.00 PM and 7.00 AM. The restaurant, 200 meters away, had a very limited menu and was very expensive. The child’s menu was very limited.

We stayed here one night on return from Italy, after long drive it was clean and convienient location good value. We stayed on Sunday night and as of most of rural France everything was closed, even the hotel restaurant. We had to drive 5 miles to get something to eat.

Jonathan was a very nice young man. And made us feel very welcome. And told us where to eat and served us with nice cold beer after along drive. I was told about the hotel from a fellow biker. And I will be telling others about the place too.

Comfortable bed good size bathroom No hot water - problem with room door - did not shut or lock and this was on outside (motel style) - no staff to sort this out or report to so we had to put furniture against door to keep it closed. Could improve a lot on cleanliness of the floor area and cobwebs etc

It was in a conveinient location for a stop on our journey. The restaurant, which wasn't at the hotel but 250m down the raod was closed on a Thursday, although the receptionist did initially direct us to it. She then did give us directions to the Carrefour in the next town which was also by this time (7pm) closed. There was fortunately a very nice restaurant in the next town. The road noise was a little bit disturbing

Nothing. Place was a complete craphole. I had a leaking ceiling and cockroaches in my room. In addition, no airconditioning, and the tv didn't work. Free internet - is bull. Not true. Place was a complete craphole. I had a leaking ceiling and cockroaches in my room. In addition, no airconditioning, and the tv didn't work. Parking lot became a lake after a summer storm blew through.

It was conveniently positioned for an over-night stay on my journey from Germany to England. Having my vehicle just outside the door was quite convenient. The room was secure, well ventilated and the beds were comfortable. No character and no facilities to speak of. The restaurant that the Gardien recommended was several kilometers away and was closed when I got there, so I had to make do with what had with me. One of the towels was dirty and there were the remnents of dead insects on the walls where previous guests had felt the need to dispatch them. The bathroom was quite large but, strangely, the shower cubicle was very small so it was difficult to shower without continually hitting parts of it. the furnishing of the bathroom was more reminiscent of a caravan than a hotel. The facility for hanging clothes consists of two rails above one of the beds. It might have been adequate had all but one of the hangers not been missing. It seemed a little expensive for what it was. Once breakfast was added (yes, they charge extra for breakfast) it was poor value. The staff had no record of my advance booking so it was lucky that they were not full.
