It is easy to access from the motorway. It is in a quiet village with a good restaurant which gives good food and value for money. We have used it on previous trips to the Alps and it is a good distance from ferry ports to make a stop-over. Nice sized rooms.

We wer put in a room facing the noise of trucks on the road 15 metres away and were told we could not have a room at the rear although they were empty because it was a Sunday. Thr shower leaked all over the floor. We would never stay there again.

This hotel is spotlessly clean and conveniently situated. It's a bit basic, but very useful as a stopover on a longer journey or as an inexpensive base. The restaurant nearby is excellent.

We stayed here one night on return from Italy, after long drive it was clean and convienient location good value.

We stayed on Sunday night and as of most of rural France everything was closed, even the hotel restaurant. We had to drive 5 miles to get something to eat.

Nothing. Place was a complete craphole. I had a leaking ceiling and cockroaches in my room. In addition, no airconditioning, and the tv didn't work.

It was conveniently positioned for an over-night stay on my journey from Germany to England. Having my vehicle just outside the door was quite convenient.The room was secure, well ventilated and the beds were comfortable.

No character and no facilities to speak of. The restaurant that the Gardien recommended was several kilometers away and was closed when I got there, so I had to make do with what had with me. One of the towels was dirty and there were the remnents of dead insects on the walls where previous guests had felt the need to dispatch them. The bathroom was quite large but, strangely, the shower cubicle was very small so it was difficult to shower without continually hitting parts of it. the furnishing of the bathroom was more reminiscent of a caravan than a hotel. The facility for hanging clothes consists of two rails above one of the beds. It might have been adequate had all but one of the hangers not been missing. It seemed a little expensive for what it was. Once breakfast was added (yes, they charge extra for breakfast) it was poor value. The staff had no record of my advance booking so it was lucky that they were not full.

Rapport qualité prix. Hôtel agréable, bien équipé, personnel accueillant (lorsqu'il est présent pour le petit déjeuner).

Personne pour vous accueillir à votre arrivée. La carte magnétique vous attends avec votre nom dans la salle du petit déjeuner si vous pensez à y entrer. La carte magnétique sert à ouvrir la porte et à avoir l'électricité dans la chambre. Mais si vous ressortez de la chambre, (pour prendre vos valises) la porte se referme, et sans la carte, vous êtes coincés dehors. Pour appeler quelqu'un, il y a bien un numéro de téléphone, mais il est à l'intérieur de la chambre. Le témoin de veille de la tv ébloui quand vous dormez (il faut l'éteindre la débrancher) Un appareil dans la salle de bain se déclenche régulièrement avec un bruit sec qui vous réveille une vingtaine de fois la nuit (humidificateur ? Parfumeur?) il faut aussi le débrancher !

le calme chambres au rez de chaussée la propreté et le petit dejeuner sur place alors qu 'il etait prevu de se rendre au restaurant du village à 250m de là....(désagréable par temps de pluie)......

Parking aan de kamers, properheid van de kamers, rustige nachten voor de kamers achteraan ondanks drukke baan. Zeer goede matrassen. Ruime badkamer.

Scheiding tussen restaurant en kamers, 3 minuten wandelen. Typisch Frans ontbijt, in Zwarte Woud is het aanbod veel ruimer voor identieke prijs. Eén van de obers in restaurant was niet de allervriendelijkste en diende Champagne op in wijnglazen ! De volgenden avond was het al een stuk beter met de dame die ons bediende ( we waren met 9 ). De kamers van 3 en 4 personen zijn iets te klein en er is geen enkel kast of berging. De douchecabines zijn nogal goedkoop en lekken.
