A very warm and friendly welcome with helpful suggestions. Breakfast very good and fresh. A pleasant place to stay. Beside a lovely park but note that it is quite a climb up from the station. With luggage we recommend a taxi on arrival.
Helpful friendly owners, good breakfast, good location
Basic and dated accommodation
We arranged to arrive quite late and the lady on reception had waited for us and made us feel very welcome. Very good location for either the train station or bus station.
Staff seemed pleasant and friendly. The location being close to the park was nice.
The room was very small, with an even smaller bathroom. The decor in our room was somewhat tired looking and certainly not 'contemporary' as described. The staff weren't around much, and the general noise from other rooms and buzzers etc, was annoying.
Lovely home-like stay. Nice, quiet breakfast. I wish I was there for vacation, and not for work.
Quality of sleep will heavily depend on neighbouring guests.
The location was convenient but still a bit of a hike from train station up hill.
A bit expensive .If breakfast was included much better value.
Friendly staff and good central location in Beziers
Tiny room on third floor with no lift and no offer of help to carry cases. Room poorly decorated with basic furnishings and standard double bed. Bed was uncomfortable and basic quality bedding. Only hand held shower in tiny bathroom.
Excellent location in the centre of the town, close to restaurants and the cathedral. Bike friendly as bikes were stored securely in a garage in a nearby building.
Just up the hill through the park from the railway station [10 mins quite steep walk with suitcase]. Also about the same distance in the opposite direction through the streets to the Main Bus Station. [We arrived by train and departed by bus]. Good location for exploring Beziers Old Town and the Midi Canal on foot. Very friendly staff. Very close to the Tourist Information Centre for maps etc. There was plenty to explore on foot in Beziers for a day [we stayed two nights].
Lovely warm owners, great location. The petit dejeuner was just right, and the room where it's served is charming. The Parc des Poetes facing the hotel is just about my favorite part of Beziers. Excellent value for money.
I would have appreciated an outlet for my hair dryer in the bathroom.
Friendly mum and dad hotel. Location is good .Great value for money small room. We had difficulty as there was no lift and we had heavy bags.
Good quality room for the price, well located for both the station and town centre. The hotel is in an old building that has been well maintained and renovated. Rooms on the front overlook the neighbouring park. The free wi-fi works well and the owner/manager was friendly. Breakfast was good and probably worth it for the convenience at €7.50
Despite being on a side street overlooking the park, there is actually quite a lot of noise from the busy roundabout at the end of the street and the nearby Allées Paul Riquet (with bars, restaurants). However, this is fairly normal given the central location and only an issue in the summer when you want to keep the window open.
The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Parking on street outside is an issue but the hotel does have a garage - however it is extremely tight to get into and out of.
Very central, very nice and helpful lady at the reception, near a beautiful park
Excellent location. Friendly helpful owners
We stayed twice in this absolutely charming hotel run by a very friendly couple, in the nice town Béziers. Excellent breakfast, a spacy garage, quiet dead-end street opposite the park. We will come back!
we liked our room opposite the lovely park
the room was rather small and didn't have air con - only a fan which was effective but noisy
Convenient location and friendly staff.
No lift but staff assisted with bags
Nice location downtown.
very French lovely outlook onto park
60 stairs to bedroom!! Was 34 degrees when we were there and the little desktop fan struggled to cool room down
Very helpful owners who offered to securely store my car for 3 days for a great price while I went to Paris.
The hotel looks within easy reach of the train station, in reality it is a steep uphill struggle especially when the gardens "des poetes"are closed. The internet connection was not very good and failed completely when it came to checking out. It was pay cash only.
No wi fi
very friendly and hardworking hosts, who did everything to make the visit very pleasant
climbing a lot of stairs was difficult for me but the staff very willing to carry my case up
The location, ambiance and outlook over the park.
