Just a few minutes from the historic center of Strasbourg, halfway between the European Parliament and the central train station, the hotel is in a warm and friendly setting.
Score from 386 reviews Very good
Quiet surrounding, clean hotel. Friendly staff.
Finding a parking space might be difficult.
The rooms look very nice
the sink in the bathroom but a very small thing in comparaison to the rest
location. At the limit of the free parking zone of Strasbourg, so just park a bit to the North of the hotel easily, then use public transport (fast, reliable)
water noise in the toilet, a bit of noise with the hinge of the bathroom
No parking and no restaurant
clean, nice breakfast, friendly receptionists.
location: no parking at the hotel (only to unload/load), had to park in the surrounding streets but in a busy city, there were hardly any parking spaces free. No public parking nearby.
Parking can be an issue
I think my room was brand new so everything looked nice & clean, tip top! I'm never impressed with hotels in France but this one did! The breakfast was also excellent with hot & cold buffet. It was also walking distance to Parc Orangerie where I had my seminar. Charlotte at reception, who spoke French, German and English was extremely friendly & helpful.
no parking at the hotel but found heaps around the park...
Quiet clean hotel but no dining facilities apart from breakfast which is good.
No café/bar for drinks or snacks - no social area and no facilities in bedroom for making a cuppa. Room service available.
A limitless difficult to find with car. Parking was a little difficult. 30 min walk to centre of town. Breakfast was fairly good (better in Germany
Difficulty with parking and a bit far to walk in evening especially as there are no street lights in this residential area
Friendly staff. Large, airy rooms.
Poor environmental awareness: towels changed every day even when left hanging. Noisy plumbing. Slow elevator.
Staff service + clean + quiet
Quiet street, quiet room. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasteful decor. Highly recommended.
No shower curtain.
A lovely location, a bit out of town but near buses and the wonderful Orangerie park and zoo which I highly recommend. Inside beautifully furnished and clean, v comfortable bed, air con and excellent breakfast
Nothing - I plan to return again next time I come to Strasbourg as I think the hotel is excellent value
Truly quiet, clean, friendly -- and fresh, with room freshener fragrance.
A very splashy wash basin at all water pressures-
nice quit spot
difficult to park your car
Very good location. Quiet rooms and restful atmosphere. Breakfast really excellent. Great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing negative to say at all.
all in all i liked the style of the hotel. The traditional atmosphere...
the hotel used to be better in my opinion, as of before the reconstruction.
We loved the location, near some good places to eat, and the walk to the city was very pleasant and not too far. The street outside was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, even for someone with a fragile back. And the friendly staff made us feel very welcome.
Having to check out and return home !
Excellent staff, very good breakfast, nice and comfortable rooms (even though they are not large). Overall a very good value for money.
Only minor points: bed too firm (but that's a matter of personal preference), and no shower curtain.
professional service, large room, enjoyable breakfast room and terrasse
dated deco, basic amenities
Friendly staff, efficient little hotel within striking distance of the city center
We arrived a little later to breakfast and found many items already gone (even an empty bowl for ceereal was no longer "available"). And, ah, Parking.... This was a bit of a downer for us. At checkout (11am) I asked if I could leave the car parked there for an hour (until 12pm). Fair you would think? Well I was informed that this would not be possible. In fact, the car slots "expire" at 9am (what happens if you sleep until 11? Are you woken up and told to repark?). This slight bit of "inflexibility" did irk me, and reminded me that France (or at least this little hotel) still has a way to go in understanding the concept of customer service. It's important to know when to "tweak" a rule. Because see what happens? I write 3x more negative comments than positive on what would have been an otherwise perfect stay.
Its a old fasion hotel.
Wifi did not work all the time.
Bed, cleaning, divers staff excellent, some disappointing- not keen on service and client view. That' s why avarage filled out: good.
No machine for hot water or coffee at the room. A few staff members.
Nice small hotel in residential, calm area. Fair value for money.
No many restaurants around. So have to walk 20 mn to the center or take a cab. Rooms are a bit small.
