The receptions were attentive, at least all but one. Breakfast minimal buffet, locations excellent, evening noise too much in first room, but after change, much better. Bedding needs refreshing. |

Its proximity to good restaurants and the centre of Caen was very good - all within walking distance, it was also not very far by taxi to the railway station. Although there is a restaurant next door to the hotel, it does not have its own restaurant other than for serving breakfast. |

We arrived at 9am exhausted from Brittany overnight ferry and because the room was free we were allowed to occupy it immediately. After checking out we left our bags to collect much later. meantime, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will use again. |

Relatively low price for a family room. While the decor is somewhat dated, the room was a decent size and the room / bathroom were both clean. The hotel is a very short walk (minutes) from a plaza with numerous restaurants and from the historic Castle of William the Conqueror. As mentioned on the website, there is no reserved parking at the hotel - just street parking which - while free in the evening - was difficult to find until the restaurants in the area closed. |

The hotel was quite easy to find and the staff were helpful with the parking at the restaurant next door which they own. Plenty of places to eat nearby in the city centre. Also close to shops. Breakfast was basic but fresh and topped up regularly. The hotel only has a very small lift (says 4 persons, but they would have to be stacked up and very small!!!!) which would not be usable for someone with mobility issues (wheelchair etc). The lift also does not actually stop on the accomodation floors, but on the intermediate landings. |

The initial pleasing impression as you enter the colourful courtyard is maintained by the elegant interior, good, service, pleasant staff & flows through to the beautiful garden & all in a good location too. This is just a very minor quibble in that I followed their instructions about to not change the towels on a daily basis but they changed them anyway. |

It was conviently located in the town near to the castle (although we were only passing through on business). It was also close to some excellent restaurants. Good budget hotel. For some reason it took ages to pay, and the hotel didn't accept American Express (although the receptionist didn't know this). We left before breakfast, so I cannot review it. |

Good location near city center and shopping streets. Close to the tram that comes from the train station. Close to the bus stop that goes to the Caen Memorial. It's definitely a budget hotel - nothing fancy. My first room had a weird smell and also the wifi did not work. I was moved to a room on the ground floor which was a bit better. |

An efficient and very cleanly presented hotel. Staff were very friendly and the only negative thing I can say is the mattress was not very comfortable. That said it was by no means awful!! |

Receptionists were friendly and helpful. We didn't expect much more for the price so I guess it was ok value for money. However we stayed in another 2 star hotel which was much better quality. Breakfast was overpriced/basic. Both rooms we had booked had a 'problem' in the bathroom, one was a hole under the bath, the other was a broken shower door. The bedroom carpet looked dirty. |

Central location, right next to the Cathedral and Chateaux in the center of Caen, very handy for restaurants and bars as well, friendly receptionist and nice size rooms with a decent shower. Address is a bit misleading for sat nav systems, it took a fair bit of finding. |

Location was excellent! Bathroom was clean in particular and room in general. There is virtually no parking. They should advertise "limited" free parking, as there are a maximum of 9 spots shared between hotel and restaurant. The common area smells very stale, carpet needs a deep cleaning. Breakfast for 7 euros is very limited. Maid did not vacuum our room. Told her, she said she would return in 20 minutes, never did. We changed rooms. |

A great experience, with very friendly and helpful staff! It was a nice, clean and comfortable 2-star hotel, right next to William the Conqueror's Castle, the pedestrian shopping city center and the tram stop that goes straight to the train station (10 min). We used it as a base to explore Normandy and it was an excellent choice. We couldn't park our car during the day there because the hotel only has a few spots which were taken, and the others are pay-parking. At night and Sunday it was free on the street though. |

Location excellent. Helpful staff. The parking of the hotel is very small so we have to park the car at the street (all the streets around the hotel are in a paying zone: it's restricted to 1h 30' parking but from 19h to 9:30h you don't have to pay). The noisy inside the room (you could hear people talking in the nearest room). |
