location bed cleanliness
hot water issues in the morning very small room and bathroom for 2 people to feel comfortable in especially if you both have a suitcase
clean and cosy rooms, nicely decorated, very good beds, silent rooms, nice inner garden, very friendly staff, good wifi, in the heart of the lovely st germain des pres and surrounded with trendy shops and good restaurants, bistrots & bars, the perfect place to stay when in Paris!
everything is just perfect
- superior rooms are really large and confortable - staff was polite and ready to help in any occasion - no noise in the rooms - prices (offer by booking.com) were good if comprared to other hotels in the same area but with poor facilities and smaller rooms - we have also seen a standard room which is really large! - near Bld St. Germain
- wifi was not always working...
The staff were very helpful when we needed to pre book museum tickets They did this for us at no extra cost. Breakfasts were very tasty with plenty to eat. We had a cooked breakfast followed by fruit and cereal each morning. This was extra but much cheaper than buying out. We were also amazed that the room refurbishment taking place opposite did not disturb us once.
Next to Sonia Rykiel and around the corner from Ralph. Very clean and perfect location to all shops in St Germain area, some staff very helpful but not all. Wifi very good. Bathroom updated with nice tub, lovely after a day of walking. Room decor pretty tired and quirky. Small garden courtyard for breakfast or drinks, but not if there are cigar smokers!
Elevator to our suite was barely large enough for 1 person and a bag. Doors to room, there are two- very difficult to open( I may be mature but very fit). Cigar smoke wafting into room the response was" you are unlucky!!!" Generally disinterested staff except for Louis at night. No help with bags until leaving. Construction and dust during our stay, their response"we never know when" when. Noisy bathroom pipes like a motor all night and very uncomfortable room decor- some may find" charming." I'm not expecting much but having stayed a year ago- a welcome back would've been nice. And a feeling that they would go out of their way to help us, which we did not at all feel. Unless you absolutely value location over comfort, not sure I would recommend for the price.
The hotel was in a quiet location which we loved (actually surrounded by designers' boutiques) but a stone's throw away from the Louvre and the Musee d' Orsay. The room was quite big and comfotable for European standards. My daughter's extra bed fit quite nicely into the room. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. Though small, the hotel's design was quite beautiful and artfully done.
Nothing, would love to stay here next time we're in Paris.
nice suite location in middle of st germain des pres
room service is supposed to be till 1am but an order at 12.30 could not be fullfilled (supplier closed they said). Breakfast: service too slow as one guy only for all clients (colleague was sick...). They should call extra support in such cases!
Staff Lovely spacious room Location Charm of hotel Furnishings of my room Lovely courtyard
There is nothing not to like about this lovely hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable. However, the staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. I felt like they were truly glad I was their guest.
Location of the hotel was simply PERFECT!
The wi-fi did not work on my computer and they could not find why. Bad if you are a business traveller.
Very quiet bedroom. Slept so well. No noise at all.
They were decorating at the time so the smell of paint was toxic.
Location was fantastic for all we wanted too see around Saint Germain.
It would have been nice to be able to come back from dinner out and enjoy a drink at the bar.It closes very early.
Great location in quiet street but in easy walking distance of restaurants metro etc. Comfortable room, good bed and quiet night.
Shower facilities could be improved
Very service-oriented staff. Lovely facility. Great attention to all the little details. They had umbrellas available for loan. lovely flowers at reception. Hot water boiler in the room. Breakfast was delicious and all tastes accommodated. Met every morning with big smile from our waiter. Lovely patio for guests to enjoy. English newspapers daily. Had Wi-Fi difficulty and receptionist immediately wanted to come up to room and fix for us. Nothing was a problem for the staff, all of whom seemed to enjoy being on site.
I liked that it was a small hotel and that the staff were friendly and attentive
we were on the ground floor and overlooked the breakfast out door area, you can get disturbed as you can hear conversations in your room, if you went for a nap. No tea/coffee making facilities, a few sags with room. For £185 per night I felt it was overpriced for what you were given...but you are in Paris I guess
Staff were excellent. Clean and tidy room which was larger than many Paris hotels.
The pillows were not comfortable. The aircon didn't work, but windows opened onto a quiet courtyard and so the room was comfortable.
Rooms were beautiful - decor of hotel wonderful. Location excellent. The staff were super nice and helpful. Perfect for couples or business.
Room service menu was not good for children as only cold food ie. cold meats and salads. So, for I wouldn't choose the hotel again when travelling with children or if I wanted to eat in.
It is so well situated. Can walk everywhere from the hotel. Took the subway once only to go to Montmartre and even walked back to the hotel after our visit.
Location courtyard and breakfast
Power points didn't all work and room was a bit overheated but maybe we could have adjusted the control
Breakfast was over priced and the service was no so good at breakfast.
Amazing room and building. The staff were VERY helpful, I mean REALLY helpful. They even brought me soy milk for the next breakfast after the first morning since I asked for it.
Don't bother with room service its not great. Its not the hotel's fault since they get it from a restaurant. The breakfast is simple with not much variation
The hotel location was amazing very central and the staff were fantastic. The room was lovely, bit smaller then expected but still was fine for us. I would defiantly recommend this hotel!
Our room was facing the street which generated a lot of nose in the evening, if we stayed again I would request a courtroom view.
Very old hotel ! They must do renovation !! Some rooms are like rooms for animals !!some rooms don't have elevator ! We pay 240€ Per night for a double room without breakfast and it's not worth it at all!dont stay at this hotel ever!! It is like 2 star hotel ! The are other hotels at the area sain Germaine cheaper and much better!!!
