Hôtel Des Marronniers is located in a quiet courtyard in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Près. It is a 3-star hotel dating from the Henri IV period and offers an interior garden.
Score from 313 reviews Very good

Score from 115 reviews Wonderful
Next to Sonia Rykiel and around the corner from Ralph. Very clean and perfect location to all shops in St Germain area, some staff very helpful but not all. Wifi very good. Bathroom updated with nice tub, lovely after a day of walking. Room decor pretty tired and quirky. Small garden courtyard for breakfast or drinks, but not if there are cigar smokers!
Elevator to our suite was barely large enough for 1 person and a bag. Doors to room, there are two- very difficult to open( I may be mature but very fit). Cigar smoke wafting into room the response was" you are unlucky!!!" Generally disinterested staff except for Louis at night. No help with bags until leaving. Construction and dust during our stay, their response"we never know when" when. Noisy bathroom pipes like a motor all night and very uncomfortable room decor- some may find" charming." I'm not expecting much but having stayed a year ago- a welcome back would've been nice. And a feeling that they would go out of their way to help us, which we did not at all feel. Unless you absolutely value location over comfort, not sure I would recommend for the price.
Staff Lovely spacious room Location Charm of hotel Furnishings of my room Lovely courtyard
There is nothing not to like about this lovely hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable. However, the staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. I felt like they were truly glad I was their guest.
Location of the hotel was simply PERFECT!
The wi-fi did not work on my computer and they could not find why. Bad if you are a business traveller.
Very quiet bedroom. Slept so well. No noise at all.
They were decorating at the time so the smell of paint was toxic.
Location was fantastic for all we wanted too see around Saint Germain.
It would have been nice to be able to come back from dinner out and enjoy a drink at the bar.It closes very early.
Great location in quiet street but in easy walking distance of restaurants metro etc. Comfortable room, good bed and quiet night.
Shower facilities could be improved
Very service-oriented staff. Lovely facility. Great attention to all the little details. They had umbrellas available for loan. lovely flowers at reception. Hot water boiler in the room. Breakfast was delicious and all tastes accommodated. Met every morning with big smile from our waiter. Lovely patio for guests to enjoy. English newspapers daily. Had Wi-Fi difficulty and receptionist immediately wanted to come up to room and fix for us. Nothing was a problem for the staff, all of whom seemed to enjoy being on site.
I liked that it was a small hotel and that the staff were friendly and attentive
we were on the ground floor and overlooked the breakfast out door area, you can get disturbed as you can hear conversations in your room, if you went for a nap. No tea/coffee making facilities, a few sags with room. For £185 per night I felt it was overpriced for what you were given...but you are in Paris I guess
Staff were excellent. Clean and tidy room which was larger than many Paris hotels.
The pillows were not comfortable. The aircon didn't work, but windows opened onto a quiet courtyard and so the room was comfortable.
Rooms were beautiful - decor of hotel wonderful. Location excellent. The staff were super nice and helpful. Perfect for couples or business.
Room service menu was not good for children as only cold food ie. cold meats and salads. So, for I wouldn't choose the hotel again when travelling with children or if I wanted to eat in.
It is so well situated. Can walk everywhere from the hotel. Took the subway once only to go to Montmartre and even walked back to the hotel after our visit.
Location courtyard and breakfast
Power points didn't all work and room was a bit overheated but maybe we could have adjusted the control
Breakfast was over priced and the service was no so good at breakfast.
Amazing room and building. The staff were VERY helpful, I mean REALLY helpful. They even brought me soy milk for the next breakfast after the first morning since I asked for it.
Don't bother with room service its not great. Its not the hotel's fault since they get it from a restaurant. The breakfast is simple with not much variation
The hotel location was amazing very central and the staff were fantastic. The room was lovely, bit smaller then expected but still was fine for us. I would defiantly recommend this hotel!
Our room was facing the street which generated a lot of nose in the evening, if we stayed again I would request a courtroom view.
Very old hotel ! They must do renovation !! Some rooms are like rooms for animals !!some rooms don't have elevator ! We pay 240€ Per night for a double room without breakfast and it's not worth it at all!dont stay at this hotel ever!! It is like 2 star hotel ! The are other hotels at the area sain Germaine cheaper and much better!!!
V good location. Clean and neat with a flair of classical Paris. Staff is v welcoming and helpful.
The room was a bit small.
Cozy old hotel with a court yard in the marvelous 6th arrondissement of Paris. Very quiet lobby and charming gardens. Rooms are very quiet facing the interior court yard.
Room was in huge need of updating - carpet was torn and dirty, tv was totally "fuzzy" on any channel but the two basic French broadcasts. The cleaning was appalling. I left face cloth and hand towels in tub to be replaced - they were rehung wet and soiled. Bed was "pulled up" but spread was thrown over a chair with throw pillow on floor. Shampoo etc left uncapped in bath - ugh more hostel than 4 star!
Everything except ammenities. The staff is great, excellent! location!
The amenities and hairdresser were very weak.
The location, friendly staff, historic setting.
Toilet separate from bathroom.
We booked a three day stay for my mother's surprise birthday and were not disappointed. This was my third time in Paris and Saint Peres was by far the best experience for the cost. The staff (especially Chantel) were very friendly, helpful, and well spoken in English..all a rarity in France. The hotel was a gem nestled along a quiet street in the heart of St Germain with a small quiet garden to enjoy fresh air & relaxation. It was just a minute's walk to the infamous bustling main boulevard and 10/15 min walk to the Louvre & Notre Dame Cathedral. It was the best of both worlds in our opinion. The hotel was classy, clean, and well maintained. The beds were topped with quality linens and very comfortable. We would without a doubt return for a stay here. Saints Peres was a big part in making our trip to Paris as enjoyable as it was. Thank you!
Our room was clean and very comfortable however the room itself could use some updating. However, while we were there they were in the process of doing over other rooms so this may not be an issue once they are done. It did not effect our stay but it could have been freshened up a bit. We were there with our young children and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to us, however I would describe it as a more quiet & conservative hotel and this could be a problem disrupting other guests if the children are loud. We were out from morning until night so with the exception of the earlier morning hours, this was not a problem for us but could be if families plan to spend more time in the hotel. Every morning we ordered up juice and croissants for them enjoy while we got ready to head out for the day. : )
