breakfast was good and nice restaurant

We have made bad experience with this hotel. we stayed one night in this hotel and we were a family with a child, reception was never attended, we always had to look for them. we have found in our room that a piece of wall hanging from the celling, we said to receptionist but she was not interesting. In the morning it was unpleasant to shower in cold water as hotel had a problem with the hot water. We did have talk with receptionist about a few problems in the room especially on the hot water and she disssapeared for 10 minutes and she was back when she announced us a discount of eu 5 in our bill. I found no good that she did not say even sorry for the incovenience

Hotel des Vosges is an imaginative and interesting refurbishment of a c16 original building in the exact centere of Turckheim,opposite L'Hotel de Ville..the place has real personality and an unusual ambience which appeals to discerning and experienced travellers

Breakfast was expensive for a family of 4, we opted for 2 cups of hot water and were charged 1 Euro each, each morning

improvements points: (1) room require refurbishment to bring them up to modern standards (2) a number of the hotel staff has to undergo a hospitality training: we had a power failure on 2nd floor, 3x over a 6h period: when reporting I got the response: 'you do not light to bring your children to bed'(?!!?). When discussing consequences on rate to be paid, no responsibility was taken, manager on holiday, do not speak English all of sudden etc. Finally got some money off, but left due to unfriendly treatment bad taste behind.

The village was very nice and picturesque

It was old and had a bad smell. They didnt inform us about the village parking and its rules so we had to pay a fine of 35 euros!! Breakfast was not included and had to pay 10 euros per person per day!! Needs renovation!

The hotel was very clean and kept up. Our room was large and worked well for the four of us.

There were no places withing walking distance to get a cup of coffee or snack.

Next to Turckheim (need car to reach Colmar), comfortable room, free public parking (though a little bit crowded)

Heating was off

Good price. Big room. Good position near the main entrance of the historical center. Free parking places for car not far from the Hotel. Only a few minutes by car from Colmar.

The parking is in a public square. Twice a week it's occupied by local street market. No private parking inside the Hotel area. the owner insisted with us to go to the Hotel Restaurant for dinner, but we preferred to find somewhere else in Tuckheim. He followed us for a while to try to persuade us!!!

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Super restaurant Petit déjeuner buffet composé de beaucoup de produits fait-maison. Hotel a recommander
