It was near where we needed to be and it was well located for restaurants and the metro. My room was a double room and was fine for me with everything I needed. The people with me had single rooms which were very small, particularly the washing facilities |

It was a traditional french hotel, nice and clean. The breakfast room. It was however quite nice to take breakfast in another place. |

This hotel was a great value for the location. It was clean, comfortable, close to sightsin the St Germain area, and staff was helpful. Rooms were tiny as expected, but had adequate amenities. We spent most of our Paris vacation at the Westin, which is quite expensive. This hotel was a great overnight stop when we returned to Paris to fly home. |

The location in the 6e arrondissement was very nice: a lot of the tourist attractions are in walking distance. For a French hotel, the breakfast arrangement is nice (although 12 EUR --15 EUR if you take a fried egg-- is a steep price). We were not bothered by any of these, but other people might: (a) the metro passes under the hotel and sometimes shakes the walls, (b) there are only three tables in the breakfast room, (c) the rooms are tiny (after our suitcase was in the room, we had to climb over the bed to cross the room), (d) the walls are very thin and you can hear the neighbours talking. |

The location was excellent, with many sights within walking distance and with easily accessible public transport. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice. The metro passes just underneath the hotel, makes a lot of noise and woke me up very early. |

The hotel was beautiful and very conveniently located. Whilst the rooms were small, they were comfortable and clean. Since my room was upgraded from a single to a double upon arrival, I cannot complain about the size at all! The staff were polite and very helpful (although don't trust the street addresses they give you) and they seemed to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. You could hear the metro every few minutes (and it does rattle the breakfast room) but it wasn't loud enough to be a bother. |

It's so close for the metro and commercial center. Nice location and safe to stay. The heater didn't work for 2 nights and we were really cold but they can fix it for the 3 night and it's really perfect. |

Great value, great staff, excellent continental breakfast. Considering the location of this hotel in the heart of Paris, closely situated with the Louvre, d'Orsay, Eiffel tower, Notre Dame and thousands of beautiful restaurants this is a steal of a deal. Highly recommended. Wireless internet was spotty getting kicked off every few minutes but still doable. |

The location was excellent. The noise from the metro is really apparent - we were on the top floor and could still hear the roar. It wasn't enough to keep us awake but if you are a light sleeper it may be annoying. |

The hotel is ideally located near the Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Montparnasse districts, the Latin Quarter and several metro lines. |

The immediate surroundings provide wonderful opportunities for walks in the areas of the gardens of Luxembourg, Saint-Sulpice square and Saint-Germain-des- Prés. |
Located in the heart of Paris, within a stone’s throw of the Louvre and Orsay Museums, the Hôtel Rive Gauche features plain and modern accommodation. |
