somebody wrote about ill mannered staff here but we had very friendly & efficient service. Small but beautifully clean and smartly renovated bathroom. The rooms are tiny even by Paris standards which makes this hotel pretty expensive, but on the whole a pleasant stay in a wonderful area. Cafe Danton close by on Boul St Germain next to the Danton Cinema complex has the best coffee in Europe and the best breakfast in Paris, and not expensive either. More room needed for your clothes, less in-fighting with those aggressive coathangers that won't let loose and when they finally do you can never get them back in again. The guy who invented these should get the guillotine. And No breakfast for 150 euro in these tiny rooms smacks of extortionism and is just not on. The bed was rock hard so coupled with the coathanger chaos this hotel was a light s/m experience. The location is so amazing however we can forgive them these minor sins. After all it is Paris in the springtime which has always been synonymous with rip-off and will probably never change.

For the price, the breakfast was good. Walking up the very narrow flight of stairs to the 6th floor was not pleasant, especially with luggage and no assistance from staff. The bed was extremely hard (and I like a firm bed) - this was close to awful. Staff were mostly unfriendly, especially the only woman working the desk. The were not interested in the quality of our stay and gave no indication that they were happy we chose the hotel.

Front desk staff spoke english very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel around the corner from Boulevard Saint -Germain and all that that offers.Room on the sith floor a bit of a mission up the narrow stairs with a suitcase being the lift only goes to the 5th floor- room however very clean nad quiet once the windows closed.Typically small as expected however the single bed rather small and hard but ok for the one night.Breakfast adequate and resonable value for Paris.Would I stay again- most definitely

Hotel is in a good location 5mins walk from St Sulpice and Sevres Babylone metro stations. Take rer -b train from cdg airport -change to Metro at Les Halles. Recommend to get all day 'Mobils ' train pass for 6.10€ - can use Metro all day long to see various attractions . Neraby attractions - must see Palais & Jardins du Luxembourg -really beautiful gardens , St Sulpice Catheral. Friendly, helpful staff .Clean rooms. They let us leave our luggage there as we arrived early at 8am and also kept our luugage past checkout time while we went shopping. Very nice patiserrie/boulongerie past the St Sulpice metro to the left on Rue Meziers ! Would use this hotel again. Slight rumble of metro underneath the hotel now and then - but as we were on 5th floor - we didn't hear much as were too tired to care after all the sightseeing !! Rooms are small - but its normal for Paris.

The location was great just as advertised, The metro was very close so getting there and to any location was very easy. The area is amazing lots of stores great cafes plenty to do and see just walking down the avenue. The staff spoke English well and were helpful and the room was clean. I read a review that mentioned you can feel the train when it rolls under the building..they were right. The rooms on the 6th floor..tiny.. like jail cell tiny..the elevator stops at 5 to get to them up the winding tiny staircase! Since the window is tiny also some one painted a street scene on the wall..lamppost a few birds flying...waking up to it was creepy. Get a double room stay away from the singles on the 6th floor.

Nice hotel located on a relatively quiet street. The food market at Bon Marche was close by and fantastic. Breakfast at the hotel was 12 euros which seemed like a lot but nice spread for a "continental" breakfast and good value once we experienced coffee and croissant for close to 8+ euros just down the street. Would recommend it!!

Room was small, but that is probably normal for the price/location. The subway was somewhat loud--even on the 4th floor--if you are a light sleeper.

It had a good location. The staff was nice after the first hassle and tried hard to get me re located. It was horrible, expensive, unappealing, blankets used on everyone, an air conditioner that was noisy that blew cold air in your face. I requested a room no smoking and window and got neither . The price was exhorbatant. Do not stay there. I was packed to leave as soon as I woke up.

I liked the friendly and helpful staff. We stayed one night, left to visit Normandy, and then came back for another night. We were able to leave our large luggage at the hotel while we were gone. It made our travel so much easier. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was near restaurants and shopping. There was a loud noise fairly regularly that we thought might be the elevator. We got use to it and were able to ignore it.

The blond lady working on the reception desk during the day was fantastic - very friendly and helpful. And very patient with me practising my quite abysmal french! The noise from the metro is quite obvious - but it did not disturb or keep any of us awake.
