For the price, the breakfast was good. Walking up the very narrow flight of stairs to the 6th floor was not pleasant, especially with luggage and no assistance from staff. The bed was extremely hard (and I like a firm bed) - this was close to awful. Staff were mostly unfriendly, especially the only woman working the desk. The were not interested in the quality of our stay and gave no indication that they were happy we chose the hotel.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. The location is ideal, close to the METRO.....(in fact, too close) and many interesting shops. Clean, modern, room with a fabulously comfortable mattress. I slept neither of the 2 nights: My room was situated on the top floor (supposedly better in terms of sound insulation) and the constant vroooommmmm of the Metro was intolerable. Like a cart rolling on a hardwood floor above you.....all night. It felt as if the train was stopping at my headboard. At one point, the vent cover in the bathroom blew off, as a result of the wind tunnel created by the train's movement. Never again, despite my + feedback above.

Courtesy of personnel, always available for suggestions. Fares a little bit high for the level of comfort of rooms (small). Right cost should be closer to 50€ per night per persn

Great Location. Clean. Courteous staff. My room (51) was next to the central air conditioner unit which is loud with the window open. Didn't bother me but it would a light sleeper. This is the only room that has this problem. Good value for money. I would come back, but to a different room. No complaints except for the noisy room but I could have moved to another....just avoid room 51.

The location is perfect! The rooms are clean, furniture quite recent, good bed and a/c available! The old blankets should definitely go and a kettle for hot water should be included by default in all rooms!

The staff were kind and helpful and it is located very well (close to a metro stop and in the heart of Saint Germain). The hotel is not very spacious; my room, the netrance hall and the breakfast room were all very small.

The location was great just as advertised, The metro was very close so getting there and to any location was very easy. The area is amazing lots of stores great cafes plenty to do and see just walking down the avenue. The staff spoke English well and were helpful and the room was clean. I read a review that mentioned you can feel the train when it rolls under the building..they were right. The rooms on the 6th floor..tiny.. like jail cell tiny..the elevator stops at 5 to get to them up the winding tiny staircase! Since the window is tiny also some one painted a street scene on the wall..lamppost a few birds flying...waking up to it was creepy. Get a double room stay away from the singles on the 6th floor.

Nice hotel located on a relatively quiet street. The food market at Bon Marche was close by and fantastic. Breakfast at the hotel was 12 euros which seemed like a lot but nice spread for a "continental" breakfast and good value once we experienced coffee and croissant for close to 8+ euros just down the street. Would recommend it!!

Front desk staff spoke english very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel around the corner from Boulevard Saint -Germain and all that that offers.Room on the sith floor a bit of a mission up the narrow stairs with a suitcase being the lift only goes to the 5th floor- room however very clean nad quiet once the windows closed.Typically small as expected however the single bed rather small and hard but ok for the one night.Breakfast adequate and resonable value for Paris.Would I stay again- most definitely

It had a good location. The staff was nice after the first hassle and tried hard to get me re located. It was horrible, expensive, unappealing, blankets used on everyone, an air conditioner that was noisy that blew cold air in your face. I requested a room no smoking and window and got neither . The price was exhorbatant. Do not stay there. I was packed to leave as soon as I woke up.

I liked the friendly and helpful staff. We stayed one night, left to visit Normandy, and then came back for another night. We were able to leave our large luggage at the hotel while we were gone. It made our travel so much easier. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was near restaurants and shopping. There was a loud noise fairly regularly that we thought might be the elevator. We got use to it and were able to ignore it.

The blond lady working on the reception desk during the day was fantastic - very friendly and helpful. And very patient with me practising my quite abysmal french! The noise from the metro is quite obvious - but it did not disturb or keep any of us awake.
