The location is excellent. Room clean. Night staff Mr. Lucien very nice and helpful.
The underground train noise was very annoying, made it very difficult to sleep. A staff member not willing to help with the next day shuttle to the airport, which was one of the main reason I booked the hotel. Customer could hardly move in tiny lobby filled with luggage and suitcases.
Rooms very compact /small Bathroom even more so - you can hardly turn round in bathroom very basic rooms only just adequate and not good value for price paid
The staff were extremely helpful in giving directions and making travel arrangements. The rooms are small but inviting (especially the ones overlooking the street). The breakfast was well stocked and inviting.
Location, three metro stations nearby, very clean room and bathroom, strong wifi signal. The check-out is not until noon, which is rather rare.
Metro tunnel must be right beneath the building which makes you feel every train passing under - quite disturbing for those sleeping light, especially as the metro starts at 5:00 AM. The price also is quite high for the quality and location - overall they're both good but I know better places in Paris for smaller money (which were unfortunately sold out by the time I made my booking).
Location Bathroom was newer and clean.
Very small room, VERY SMALL. Old furniture and bedding. Bathroom was tiny!
It is placed centrally. It is walking distance from all major attractions such as Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay. It is also walking distance for 3 metro stations thus making the connectivity super. Very courteous & helpful team of staff.
We got a street room after complaining.
They first assigned us to a back room with NO window to the outside and it was tiny by ALL measures. My wife broke down in tears when she saw it.
Location, cleaniness, price performance, powerful shower
Central AC. We asked for AC for our room but other rooms complained it was too cold for them. Since it's central AC, they decided to keep it off. We kept the window open the entire stay (8 nights) so the room wouldn't feel stuffy. Street noise is very high (great location means lots of traffic) so didn't quite have good night sleep.
Room was clean and tidy. Hotel was central and surrounded by metro stations. If you want a bit more vibe I would suggest going closer around pont de nerf bridge as it had small lane ways filled with restaurants.
Shower was really small but it seems to be the norm for European hotels. Stairway was abit tight getting up and down but again not a big problem. Yes you can hear the trains going through under the hotel but it didn't bother us as we did yours all day and collapsed into bed every night.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Beautifully clean and comfortable.
Great location. Lucien was extra kind.
The staff was very nice and accommodating, the location is great, and the hotel is a good value for St. Germain. The air conditioning worked great. Great cleaning staff.
When we first walked in and saw the room, we considered sucking up any penalty we might incur and just move to another hotel. The room was so small and the bathroom was even worse. In order to ger to the toilet, you have to step into the shower to get the door closed. Showering in this tiny shower was truly misery. There is no where to put soap or shampoo so you have to lay it on the floor. Bending over to pick it up is impossible without body parts sticking out. The bed was super hard which turned out to be ok. We slept well once we got over the shock of the room. If you don't mind having to be a contortionist, this may be ok for you.
Location and clean.
Stairs are really small, staffs not the best and room small.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but this is expected in Paris. Close to major attractions, places to eat and metro.
The location was fantastic.
It was extremely noisy. Even though we had a room on the top floor the trains rumbled underneath the hotel most of the night. The plumbing in our room and next door was very noisy all night making sleep impossible.
Central location close to lovely restauranrs and a metro. Quintessential Paris building and street. Loved it.
The Metro noise is very strong during all day, including at night.
Friendly staff, location in the Latin Quartier near Saint Suplice
Vibration from the Metro line below, window faced onto a tiny light well with a floodlight to simulate sunlight, typical poor value for money.
Very nicec staff. Excelent pocation. Very clean Nice breakfast
Good location, well connected, helpful multi-lingual staff. The fact I only had to endure one night there.
Dirty underwear found hanging on bathroom door No natural light Felt like I was sleeping on top of the Metro tunnel (room shook every time a train passed underneath) Bed extremely uncomfortable, have had better nights' sleep on the floor Interior decor basic at best - have seen better decorated hostels for €18/night. No separate locked room to leave luggage during the day - had to be left just in reception area. Very poor value for money.
Size of room/ bathroom
Good location in saint germaine. Close to restaurants and bars. Pretty streets. Walkable all over paris or just a stones throw to the metro. Central location is super important to me and I was very happy with saint germaine.
Very small room. No smaller than most rooms in Paris though I imagine.
Location and the pleasant breakfast staff !
Small room. Booked a double-room but got a twin :-( Metro trains under hotel can be heard on 5th. floor. Defect fridge/door.
The location was brilliant.
I was surprised to be troubled by the Metro noise and rumbling, despite being on the 4th floor. Don't bring yr cat along as in Room 42 there wouldn't be room to swing it!!
