Next to the Jardin des Plantes, the Libertel Austerlitz Hotel is across from the Gare d’Austerlitz, on the banks of the Seine River.

A wonderful bed, a generous size o room, even though it's a little sterile in its interior, very practical location and easy to live in.
Everything was fine, except the breakfast where something seemed to fail everyday. One day the coffee machine was broken, another the eggs were far too overcooked, a third they were out of ham. Too expensive to pay 13 euro for that, I think.
Just next to the Saint Marcel Metro, so its easy to get around. The staff was very helpful and polite
The hotel is not fit for a family with small children due to small rooms and no space for pushchair. After putting a crib in the room it was very small.
4 minutes walk from Gare Austerlitz. Useful for leaving luggage. Our room was a reasonable size, but friends room was like a closet.
Floor in room hadn't been swept. The restaurant for breakfast didn't look very appetizing, so we ate out. Don't turn the shower tap to the right or you get covered in freezing cold water.
location is good, staff is kind
The elevator is really small
We got a new room because the balcony was dangerous for the child and the old room smelled like urine. They were very helpful and they helped right away!
Old room: urine smell.
Very close to Metro stop and to the river.
Close to a police station so some sirens at night.
A short walk from Gare D'Austerlitz and Gare De Lyon. East for Metro, bu, taxi and train. Stylish, comfortable, well equipped bedrooms. Nice cafes, brasseries, bars and small shops nearby. Friendly, efficient staff. I will go again.
Great location just up from main train station Austerlitz. The room I had was a good size (not a shoe box), good amenities and excellent bathroom/facilities, very clean (unbeknownst to me at time of booking room is cleaned every day). Kettle and cups for tea/coffee in the room was a godsend for me. A very enjoyable stay, would stay again and recommend it to others.
Nothing to rest your suitcase on, so dragged a side table over to suit. Housekeeping did not knock before entering room on day one. Twice. Mentioned to reception, did not happen again.
Destroyed accesories. They did not fill shampoo, dirty carpet, breakfast without fruits.
Location was excellent. The general amenity of the apartment was very good with most things provided that we needed.
No lift and apartment was on the 4th floor. Some minor renovations should be completed
Staff, room, bathroom, quiet
No shower screen, new kettle needed, very hot room, light needed replacing 15 mins walk from notre dame
Comfortable bed. reasonable sized rooms. Reasonably close to some sights. Hop on Hop off bus (blue line) not far away- (but I don't think the staff realize this as they didn't tell us!!).Comfortable bed. Clean room & shower.
breakfast- scrambled eggs stewed & hard crust on top by 9.30- needed to make fresh quantities regularly. No fresh fruit cut up for cereal. coffee was horrible out of that machine.
Location near the train station is extremely convenient and there are some very good reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance
Space was small and expensive for what you got, but in comparison with others, not so bad. Our room was too small for an extended stay.
Modern room, usual cramped size for Paris though, clean and tidy
Arrogance from one particular concierge, generally unnecessarily rude forgetting the world wide rule of being helpful and polite when in that role in a hotel. Made to feel like a burden. Will spend my hard earned $ elsewhere next time
Help with 5 bicycles which took the staff by suprise, they accomodated our bikes well despite 3 having to be put in the laundry room. for which we felt guilty because we didnt want to upset the cleaning staff. Thank you.
Myself and a hairy farmer [fellow cyclist] had to share a double bed,two singles would have been preferable but I probably could have made myself clearer when booking the room, but slept well.
Internet connection was no good
have to pay in advance, the staff is not that enthusiastic. The room cleaner forgot to to put cleaning stuff in our bedside-table.
Convenience to Saint-Marcel metro (direct from Gare du Nord line 5, good lines 1, 7); modernized; clean; elevator; quiet in courtyard-facing room; good tv; comfortable, clean bed/linens; 24/7 reception; Monoprix, cafes, good restaurants nearby Thai, Indian (Dip), Vietnamese.
Small things: modern style bathroom is nice, but toilet groans when you sit as if it is coming off wall; nice rain-shower but shower head needs tightening (water sprayed all over bathroom); had to ask to replenish coffee sachets.
Location, freindly staff, near Metrostation, nice rooms with no noice from the road.
Breakfast not 100% compared with surrounding bars
The staff did not informed me of the nature of the taxi to the airport.
We liked EVERYTHING!! The room is perfect, the breakfast delicious, the staff very friendly. The location really nearby Metro and RER, Restaurants and markets.
The helpffulness of the front desk people and the ideal location.
Would have liked cleaner carpeting.
Quality of the shower was excellent and the hotel soap s smelled lovely. Large bed and room with a balcony.
The room was so small if we stayed longer than one night it would have been uncomfortable. Balcony was on front of building so there was a lot of traffic noise at night.
We stayed at Hotel Devillas for 2 nights in September 2014, a ticket from Charles de Gaulle airport is €10, however if you buy an ‘all-day / all travel ticket’, it’s also the same price, and this gives you unlimited travel on the Metro for that day! Metro Station ‘Saint Marcel’ (line orange, number 5) is the nearest station, and the hotel is a 30 second walk down from the stations exit: (opposite the hospital, so if you come out of the metro station on the same side of the hospital, just cross over the road and the hotel is in front of you down the road 30 seconds) Checkin’ was nice and quick, the guy gave us a room on the 5th floor back facing (he said it was quieter at the back), he also gave us the password for the WiFi. – Room 507 The lift up to the rooms is tiny, you won’t fit more than 3 people (even 2 is a squeeze, with a suitcase) The bedroom was very clean and it is ‘cosy’ (small, but it did us for the time we were to spend there), the room had: tea / coffee (which wasn’t replaced once we used them), kettle, electronic safe, and extra pillows / blanket. There was a flat screen TV, however there was only 1 English speaking channel (CNN). The spot lights at the side of the bed didn’t work. The bathroom was very clean, it had a rain shower and enough towels for 2 people (however the floor towel wasn’t replaced by house keeping the following day), there was complementary toiletries (again once they were used, they also wasn’t replaced), the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain very well at all, and need maintenance. The air conditioning worked perfect as did the hotel WiFi (which was free and also fast). The hotel is located around the corner from the botanic gardens (about a 5 min walk), the Metro will get you into the Eiffel tower in about 20 mins, if you don’t mind walking Notre Dame would be about a 15 – 20 min walk away too. We did have breakfast, so I can’t comment on this.
Lift is tiny and slow. Tea / coffee wasn't replaced. Only 1 English TV channel. Towel & toiletries wasn't replace. Sink in the bathroom didn’t drain very well at all, and need maintenance. The spot lights at the side of the bed didn’t work.
The reception staff were friendly enough and looked after our bags securely upon check-out. The location was central enough.
I visit twice a year, every year and even by Parisian standards the room was beyond miniscule for the price with nowhere to put your bags without tripping on them. No cupboards/drawers either. The air-conditioning simply didn't work and was 'centrally' controlled - When it wasn't malfunctioning. The room was very small and hot. Opening the windows allowed too much noise in to sleep. A previous occupant had spilled wine on the bed divan and the carpet which had not been attended to. Fruit stalks were found in the bathroom door jamb. Disappointing.
