Doisy Etoile

Käytävällä aivan huoneemme ulkopuolella sijaitsi puhelin (ilmeisesti siivoojia varten), jonka soimiseen heräsimme joka ikinen aamu. Puhelin soi useaan otteeseen kerrallaan jopa useita minuutteja ja emme saaneet enää unta soimisen jälkeen. Tämä oli aivan kaameaa, sillä lomalla haluaa nukkua edes sen lyhyen ajan, jonka hotellissa viettää. Liikuntarajoitteisille tiedoksi, että hotellin käytävät olivat todella ahtaat ja hissillä ei päässyt suoraan kerrokseen vaan piti kävellä lisäksi ahtaita portaita. Vaikeaa, jos on painava matkalaukku/muita kantamuksia.

The stuff spoke English and was in general helpful. The room was clean and good.

The air conditioner was not working properly: it was blowing heat disregard from what you set in the temperature level. We have changed the room, but it was the same there, so the best choise was to switch it off completely and open windows to the busy street from time to time. In the room that goes out to the inner side of the street the sound of the bells ringing was to be heard all night long.

Short walk from Airport Shuttle bus stop at Arc de Triomphe,very close to Champ des Elysees.Very large bed and clean room. Good price for 3 nights-stay.Comfortable shower.

Very narrow stairs which can cause an injury easily.Price of € 3 for drinking water.It should be either for complimentary or charge not exceeding €1.Problems with the room key time to time.

The staff made my wife and I feel welcome. The location is in a quiet area within easy walking distance of the Metro.

shower head a bit low if you are tall

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, close to Metro lines, train and bus connections w/o noise, close to cute local eateries, short walks to Arc...etc.

Shower sprayed water on floor, bad glass design in/on the tub. No parking for car... maybe under ground near the hotel.

We really enjoyed the location of Doisy Etoile. It was close to the Metro and easy to get to late. 24 hour desk reception was great - he spoke english well and was helpful in trying to recommend a place to eat late at night. The hotel was also really close to the Arc which was nice.

The hotel rooms were small but expected in Paris....the room we had the shower did not work properly and flooded the bathroom and part of the bedroom......and were told we would be upgraded but the next room was smaller which was fine but the AC was not very strong and was very warm. OK location and staff was ok. Understood some english but not much

The location is great, just 10 min walk to Place Charles de Gaulle. It is very close (10, maybe 15 min) to Porte Maillot station where the bus from Beauvais Airport stops. Also, nearby you can find a famous Boulangerie where you can have a delicious breakfast. The hotel staff was very nice and helpfull, the room was comfortable and clean.

Rooms are small but functional and designed well with a good bathroom. The location is ideal for Paris. This hotel is value for money.
