Nice and spacious appartment, peaceful surroundings and a relaxed athmosphere. Do not expect a hotel feeling, it's more like coming home to somebody. All the animals were fun for the children, as well as the huge outdoor area. Family friendly. The appartment was too cold and the heating was locked so we couldn't turn it up to max. Be aware that you have to pay extra for the use of the kitchen. The road up to the hotel is narrow and windy, and several cars had problems since the road was covered with snow. |

Domaine De Basil is a friendly and well-kept establishment in a beautifull and secluded location which is even more lovely than the numerous photos on the website can show. We very much appreciated the en-site restaurant (lovely cuisine of Alsace). The resident animals add to the charm. We would go back and definitely stay longer next time, using this auberge as a base for touring the area. Although I like them, I am allergic to both dogs and cats. I experienced no problem with our room (so I am assuming that the standard of cleaning is very high if dogs had been in the room). If someone were phobic about dogs and cats, then they would probably be uncomfortable. I found the owners pets to be charming and well-behaved. We would miss having a tv for news, etc. if staying longer. |

Out of the way, perfect setting,good food and friendly owners who were there if required. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Very small point but the room we had did not have a tv and we did begin to feel a little cut off from the world towards the end of the week, although not big tv watchers it would have been nice at times during the evening. |

Comfortable room with kitchenette, excellent hiking in the area, back in the woods, a real break from our busy life. Excellent chef at hotel's restaurant. Fun ranch animals, and great to pick fresh cherries in the yard. |

Posto tranquillo e silenzioso, immerso nella campagna, staff cordiale, camera essenziale ma accogliente, dotata anche di spazio esterno. Letto non troppo comodo, nel bagno il sapone non viene fornito, la camera non può essere completamente oscurata dalla luce, colazione a pagamento buoma ma un pò sguarnita. |

Het was prijs/kwaliteit in verhouding, sobere maar propere kamers alhoewel er 1 dag niet werd gereinigd, en het bed niet perfekt was opgemaakt maar toegelegd, ook het eten was lekker, en de kritiek op het late ontbijt was aangepast men kon nu ontbijten vanaf 8 uur. er werd 1 dag niet gereinigd, wel werden elke dag de handdoeken vervangen ook als het niet nodig was, behalve die ene dag. De Mevrouw van het hotel was niet erg communicatief. |

Rustige ligging, mooie omgeving Gerechten in het restaurant weinig of niet gericht op kinderen. Geen kindermenu; slechts grote porties. Geen kindvriendelijke gerechten. Kamer was zeer matig, kastjes met potten en pannen waren afgesloten. Bestekbak was de ene dag nog beschikbaar (weliswaar door ons toen niet gebruikt) en de volgende dag ook achter slot en grendel. |
