The situation was excellent for exploring the Touraine. The food was good and the building has splendid elements, subject to the comment below. The staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The hotel seems stuck in a 1980s timewarp, and needs investment to bring it up to the standards of a 5 star hotel. There is no spa, and although facilities for massage treatment were advertized, it was not in the event possible for the masseur to attend.

Beautiful grounds. Very nice staff. Very quiet & peaceful. Had a welcome basket of doggie treats for our dog + a water bowl. Restaurant was good. Hotel seemed "tired". We arrived after staying at another Auberge in the region and it was a let-down, enough so that we cancelled our 2nd night Staff was very nice about refunding money, but we were disappointed that it didn't work better for us.

prachtig gelegen landelijk hotel met kasteelallures. vriendelijk personeel, wij hadden een kamer "traditionel" en die was heel comfortabel, ruim met luxe badkamer en uitkijkend over het uitgestrekte domein met vijver en zwembad met ligstoelen, zonder storend te zijn voor hotelgasten want gelegen in ruime weide.Het eten in het restaurant is meer dan voortreffelijk en prijs/kwaliteit verhouding klopt.Aanrader.

Het ligt prachtig gelegen in de vrije natuur. Op af en toe een passerende auto in de verte hoor je alleen de vogels. Het hotel is klein maar knus. Een leuk zwembad met een kind vriendelijk maar lelijk glazen hek rondom. Je gaat hier feitelijk naartoe om even uit te rusten en zalig te dineren. De kok is een waar vakman die met smaak kan koken en fraai en origineel opmaakt. Kamer is wat klein, muf en oudbollig. Badkamer groot maar ook oud. Feitelijk geen 4 sterren hotel waard. De wat oudere ober is te arrogant en als je hem om wijn advies vraagt en aangeeft wat je zoekt, adviseerd hij een verkeerde wijn die we afkeurde. Hij was beledigd dat ik daarna een eigen fles koos en negeerde ons de rest van de avond. Bij uitchecken had meneer toch de wijn erop laten staan ( 1 slok op) maar werd eraf gehaald. Jammer want die keuken is top. Ontbijt ook prima en ruime keus. Moderniseren van de kamers en openbare plaatsen kan geen kwaad.

Accueil très professionnel . Personnel à l'écoute du client et toujours disponible. Chambres toutes différentes et personnalisées. Repas gastronomique . Le mauvais temps ne nous a pas permis de découvrir le parc et de profiter de la piscine et de la refasse. Le petit déjeuner est aussi très riche en variétés pour un repas complet. Nous le conseillons.
