Domaine de Fompeyre  

This was our second visit to Domaine de Fompeyre and we enjoyed it as much as the first. It is a lovely old building, the staff are friendly, the food was very good, it is comfortable and relaxing. We would go back there again.

Views of the cathedral, outside pool, and general atmosphere were very nice.

Hotel is slightly run down, but don;t let this put you off.

Good food if a rather lengthy experience but lovely to dine "al fresco"

A lovely hotel which looks a bit dilapitated could do with a bathroom update and some attention to the decor

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the hotel and its surroundings. Its only a short walk from the hotel into the lovely sleepy town of Bazas. The hotel itself while being perfectly modern and comfortable has a lot of character and an interesting old feel.

The hotel has a very impressive exterior and it is not until you get closer that you spot the tiredness of the paint work and the general lack of maintenance. We had booked this hotel specifically, because it had a large car park and we were able to park our car and caravan (previously arranged with the hotel) on our way back from the South. Our room did not have a balcony and so we changed to one with. The views from the shuttered window were across the garden and very pleasant. We did not have time to explore the vast grounds, pool and spa. It is very handy for the town of Bazas which is a pleasant 15 minute walk. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Fast speed Wifi in the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room we changed to was very tatty with holes in the worktop to the en-suite. However, we had changed from the original offered which was less tatty. I assume they let the better ones first. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Je suis venue retrouver de la famille dans le bazadais et en fait, je n'ai fait que dormir dans votre hôtel.

Je trouve que l'état de la salle de bains-toilettes n'est pas au niveau de tout le reste.

Son loock et son environnement. Pas eu le temps d'apprécier sa table

Le cadre, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel.

Bien que tout à fait correcte les équipements commencent à accuser le temps... quelques petites choses à revoir. Mais le rapport qualité prix est excellent ainsi que le service.

Bonne Restauration, de qualité, hotel sympatique

Restauration un peu chère, et manque d'entretien sur les équipements (un peu vetuste !)

La chaleur excessive dans la chambre, qui n'a pas été réduite malgré nos demandes et sa prppreté

Le dîner Homard à la limite de la décongélation , spongieux Attente de près d'une demi heure pour le premier plat Cuisine indigne de l'hôtel Carte des vins limitée
