The room. The breakfast, the best we have had on our many trips. The hostess is charming and very helpful.
Would have liked a separate shower.
Isabel, the proprietress is a delight and always at your service. The grounds are extensive and beautiful. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. The shower was large; there were three shower options--overhead, from the wall and hand-held. There were ample wall outlets including in the bathroom (and not just for shavers). Breakfast was elegant and delicious. The table setting was from an French Manor. It was as though you were a special guest. The living room was large, well-appointed and comfortable. There is a a large, inviting swimming pool. You will be in the region to visit the castles, but reserve an extra day to relax and enjoy the Blonnerie itself. You will not be disappointed. They do not serve dinner, but Isabel will make reservations at an excellent restaurant about ten minutes away.
Nothing. However, the wireless did not reach our room; it is fine in all other areas of the property.
the pool, the breakfast, the luxury of the room and facilities and the overall charme of the house.
The friendliness of the host. She tried her best to fix the booking error, and was most helpful with all our requests. The outdoor setting. The beautiful tasty decor.
We were meant to have a triple room but it seems there was a mistake. So the room was not quite suitable for our group of 3, even after the hits brought an extra bed. It was more suited to a couple than two friends traveling together. As the bath within the room did not offer any privacy.
everything was perfect .House is georgeous location is great breafast awsome host fantastic.
hard to find no big sign and no number
The breakfast , the look of the kitchen/dining room , exterior look
Pool machine left in water with cord attached ( unsafe ) not told/shown around to see where we were allowed , room not ready on arrival , poorly sigh posted , expensive for what u get , expected some interaction with owners
The property is beautiful with a pool, large living area. Has a luxurious feel to it. The innkeeper prepared a wonderful breakfast too. It is close to Cheverny, Chambord and not too far from Chenonceau.
The driveway is hard to see, it is in a grove of trees. But the B&B is worth finding!
This is just so great place to stay in country side of France and close to 'La Loire' river castle and chateaux area in general. It will start with very warm welcome, great hospitality, beautiful rooms and quite area to stay. It is in fact so romantic, you want to hide there and stay for longer. I'm sure, you would enjoy pool as well in hot summer days. Parking on site, still having internet connectivity :-).
(nothing, well done, keep going)
Beautiful inn and lovely grounds. Isabella was an exceptional host.
Difficult to find.
Excellent location, many castles are in less than 1 hour drive. Very beautiful place and hosts. Very recommended for a trip as a couple or with parents/kids.
Everything except lack of wi-fi connection in room.
No wi-fi connection in room. But in lobby/kitchen.
The charming hospitality of Isabelle, the idyllic home and careful attention to design and detail.
WiFi did not connect, but that was surely for the best.
We were here for one night only as an en route stay. The room was large, beautifully furnished and decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the hot breakfast comprising french toast and crepes with tea/coffee was welcome on a cold winter morning.
It was quite difficult to find, it isn't actually in the town of Feigns and there are no signs to show its location, even the sign at the gate is difficult to see. It was a cold rainy winter day and we did not enjoy driving around looking for this place. When we arrived, the owner was not there and the people at home took some time to open the door, while we stood there in the rain. They finally invited us in and we stood in the foyer until the owner arrived. The owner was friendly enough, she showed us to our room then left - an offer of a warm drink - coffee or tea, after a long drive would have been appreciated. For dinner the nearest restaurants are in Blois, a 10- 15 minutes drive. I'm afraid that the food at bistro on the quai that the owner recommended was terrible, one of the worst restaurants I've eaten at. On the positive side, if you are there to explore the grand chateaus, it is a beautiful mansion at a great location and maybe it is better suited to longer term guests.
This is a gorgeous B&B is a wonderful setting. The rooms are spacious and very individual. The house is beautifully decorated and run by the owner who makes fabulous breakfasts and serves them in her dining room. She will also suggest lovely restaurants in the area and will help with reservations. We stayed three nights so we could see the nearby chateaux in the area. It was a wonderful stay.
Very clean, close to the Loire castles, nice home-made breakfast (juice, coffee, home-made muffins, French toast, crepes), very large room with a luxurious decor
Everything was according to our expectations. The room did not have a hairdryer and the hostess provided one for us as soon as we asked. A bit hard to find without a GPS though !
