the owners have zero hotel management knowledge, very poor quality service, very rough
The staff behaved very rudely and lacked empathy. We all believe they should not be doing this business because they act as if they hate what they are doing. I strongly recommend you to consider to include this hotel in your listings. Best regards.
Location - Silence - Dinner
- Attitude of owners - staff - You almost always get NO answer for extra requests ( even for the ordinary ones ) - Very poor breakfast - Not children friendly - Closed & locked toillets in the entrance - Stairs - This is definitely not a place to go if your "quality & richness of service & facilities" expectations vary between good - excellent and you are travelling with a group of people including children
Old farmhouse Rural quiet location Very good restaurant
Very small windows so a bit dark and not much fresh air at night
Location is great, in the middle of nature, with awsome view on le Mont Ventoux. Excellent breakfasts and menus, light and tasty, served on the romantic terrasse. Extreme friendliness of the owners with great help to propose tours off the beaten tracks! A great memory of our stay
The room is spatious but somewhat humid ( old grange with thick walls and small windows) but with a good draft during the day , this was fine. No TV nor bar fridge in the room.
The location is wonderful. Views are breath-taking. Garden is pretty. Activities are plentiful. Could have been one of the high points of the trip, if not for the owners/staff.
Unable to picnic in the garden in the middle of the afternoon because, as the staff says, "We are a restaurant! " It was between meal serving hours, and we had been driving all day. Since the room was not ready at 3pm, they effectively forced us to leave the property to eat our late lunch. In the rain. The restaurant wasn't very good, either. My steak was tasty, but shamefully tough and gristley. Had to ask for soap and shampoo refills. Library had cobwebs throughout, and poor lighting. Was able to find 5 books in English, despite owner disparagingly telling us that all books were in French.
Perfect place for trips to surrounding places in Provence (Avignon, Gordes,Chateauneuf du Pape, Roussillon, Gingondas....)
very nice place very nice swiming pool
no private outside terrase (first time of 10years visiting Provence), restrictions for garden ad pool (drinks and food) door directly in opposite of restaurant, window to the parking, very intesive noises from rooms beside and up, beeping technology of garden, loud music from neighbourhood
Nice surroundings, big room.
the host was very unfriendly. As my wife is pregnant, we took a little wine-fridge with us to have always some food around. We had breakfast on our terrace, but on the 1st day he took away our cable and unplugged the fridge without any notice, the 2nd day he removed all of the glasses from the room, so I could not even drink my nescafe, the 3rd day he told us in a very rude way that we are not allowed to eat ANYTHING there as this is a hotel, not a guest house (even if we eat outside in the garden…). I could accept these „rules” if they would be mentioned on the website, but they are not. And the style of the communication was really emberrasing and offensive. The owner has a lot to learn about hospitality.
A quiet and peaceful location. Good dining choice. Very clean. Pleasant, welcoming hosts. Ample parking.
Very basic almost monastic facilities. Our suite consisted of a bed and two small upright wooden chairs. Access to the room was very challenging by way of a metal fire escape structure - no hint of access problems in the booking info/ literature. Wifi operated only intermittently. Facilities were scattered widely around the hotel with similarly difficult access. Very poor value for money, and not suitable as a place to stay longer than overnight.
Charming B&B type setting with full meal service. Run by brothers Ralph (chef) and Thomas (general factotum). Thomas as very helpful with information about the area and directions to anywhere we wanted to go. Friendly cats (two) and dogs (two we saw, one retired). Great location for bicyclists and hikers.
WiFi is weak and variable.
Staff was rude. Bed was uncomfortable...hard Damp towels from day before left for second day. No hot water...just tepid Remote and unkept AVOID
We had a fabulous time- it was clean, beautiful and peaceful. We had the best meal in recent memory (book when you arrive) and it was a highlight of our trip- we read other reviews of the owners and we found them to be very friendly, very attentive and also very French (in a good way!)--- I'm afraid some travellers expect a certain type of personality in their hosts (I hate to say U.S. centric) and are disappointed with this---we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of our hosts and they exceeded our expectations. The rules on the property were not a problem, this is not a best western folks, this is a beautifully kept country inn and the rules keep it this way. A perfect adult getaway...
Atmospheric, authentic french provincial experience, hospitable and great dining options.
It was all good, sorry we couldn't speak french, we promise to learn before we return.
The hotel surroundings were amazing.
Apparently, you are not allowed to drink wine inside your room.
Very clean, silent
Limited check in hours(between 17h-19h. Very poor breakfast.nothing to eat.. Place at the top of mountain. .no place near it.. The owner was not kind
