Beautiful views of the castle's gardens from breakfast room

The staff were really friendly. The restaurant was very good. It was very comfortable to stay here, especially when travelling with a 1-year old baby.

Hotel was clean.

Bed was comfortable (ish)

Staff were unhelpful and arrogant. 70s style decor (needs revamp), no disabled facilities despite saying there were. Absence of kitchen staff after 9:30pm (i.e. no food available) and 8am. Poor selection at breakfast (coach parties had devoured everything) so we didn't have any.

A beautifully situated hotel with friendly and efficient reception. We had an excellent room with views overlooking the lovely park. The hotel was clean and quiet (despite an evening function). The buffet breakfast was very good especially with the restaurant again overlooking the park. Excellent value for money. Would stay again.

The beautiful park and grounds which make a stay very relaxing and enjoyable especially in good weather. To wake up to a view over the park is much nicer than the view from your average city centre hotel. The extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. For the price no complaints at all.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was in a lovely quiet relaxing location. Superb grounds and views and it was very nice to eat outside in such surroundings. A great place to stay and ideal for us on our route back from southern Germany to sample some very nice french cuisine before returning to the UK

Soooo hot!! A simple fan in room would have made all the difference. Knew there wasn't aircon on booking and certainly love,y and quiet but even with windows open was stifling and terrible nights sleep for all of us, which was a shame because otherwise lovely. Did mention to staff and no suggestion of fan available. Wouldn't stay again in summer unless they could offer one unfortunately. If different time of year would stay again tho

To our absolute delight the hotel shares it's grounds with some other wonderful old buildings, including an intact 600 year old castle! Breakfast on the covered balcony overlooking the grounds was also delightful!

The window covering in the 2nd bedroom was totally inadequate....having children in a room bathed in light during the French summer nights/mornings, is not conducive to good sleep or "happy campers"!

Very limited menu. English translation of menu unhelpful. 'Open Sea Souffle' came as a fish pie with pastry top! Brilliant steak rossini.

Hotel well situated for an overnight stop between Switzerland and Dunkerque. The staff were all very friendly, room clean and comfortable, no frills. We had dinner after our arrival which I must say was excellent.

A beautiful, country setting, which is relaxing and peaceful. Lovely park area for walking and enjoying the sunshine. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Le niveau des chambres est en dessous de se qu'on peut attendre de ce type de lieu, un peu surpris donc mais le confort reste bon et le prix en adéquation

Bijzonder vriendelijke bediening! Vincent is echt een prettige man. Lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Ook de kinderen vonden het erg lekker!

De bedden.... Oef die waren echt wel té hard. Jammer.

We zijn hier twee keer geweest op doorreist. Beide keren was de kamer ruim en het personeel heel vriendelijk. Om het hotel ligt een mooi park met twee speeltoestellen voor grotere en kleinere kinderen. Vrij uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Het avondeten was redelijk, wat aan de zoute en vette kant naar onze smaak.

Goed bereikbaar vanaf snelweg. Bedden prima, vriendelijke ontvangst. Rustige omgeving, koffie en thee op kamer.

Beddengoed, tweepersoons dekbed in eenpersoonsovertrek gepropt, geen echte kussens. Badkamer gedateerd. ' s ochtends draaide voor zes uur een bus warm voor de ingang....

Die Lage ist wunderbar, ruhig, inmitten eines Parks. Große Zimmer, z.T. mit hochliegenden Fenstern. Die Umgebung zeigt die Vergangenheit des Industriezeitalters (Eisenminen), die Städte Metz und Luxembourg (mit dem hervorragenden MUDAM) sind nicht weit. Thionville und eine Menge kleinerer Orte der Umgebung lohnen es, entdeckt zu werden.

Frühes Service-Ende am Abend, sonntags war nach neun nichts mehr zum Trinken zu bekommen, keine Menschenseele mehr zu entdecken. Am nächsten Abend haben wir halt vorgesorgt.
