Everything...the staff, the sparkling pool, the quiet oasis yet the nearness to the village .
Almost Everything. The staff is simply OUTSTANDING and genuinely make you feel like family. The hotel itself is a great place to stay in Biot. The view of the "old Biot" is simply stunning. I recommend this hotel to anyone that is not to concerned about wi-fi to check on a business or office back home.
Wi-Fi is POOR at best. Need to login and apply for a password dozen of time per day from a smart phone. The idea here is that they don't want people to stay connected and "pulling" from the network if they are not actively using the connection. I do get the concept and could leave with it if the actual connection work from our room and was fast when it works. Unfortunately I was only able to catch a very poor connection on our patio (room 10) and from other commun grounds.
Staff couldn't do enough. Superb pool area. Rooms spacious and above 3star standard. Very quiet and relaxing.
Fabulous customer service and welcome including to our children to were delighted to be fussed over! Beautiful pool and setting. Very peaceful. Furnishings were simple but suited the place perfectly and it was very clean. The children slept in single beds on a mezzanine level so felt they had their own space.
No major negatives - An onsite restaurant would be the icing on the cake. It's difficult to walk out of the premises with young children as not always footpaths alongside the roads so for us a car was vital.
Very friendly staff, great breakfast and ideal location for visit Marineland in Antibes.
The staff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and restaurants - particularly Michel! The room was spotless and had a bar fridge and a balcony which overlooked the lovely pool area. Pool towels were provided and the pool area was beautiful. Only a 5minute (uphill!) walk into Biot - good for the thighs!!
It's a shame it doesn't have it's own restaurant, as I would've been quite happy to spend all of my time there!!
Very friendly staff Cosy environment Good breakfast Comfortable pool area Perfect walking distance to Biot old town for i.e. dinners
Get ally good value and good staff
Room was a little small with restricted space for suitcases
Pool, breakfast on veranda
very bisic rooms, but the location, garden, swimming pool compensate it perfectly, considering the price.
Lovely place to stay away from hustle & bustle
We liked the location, the pool , the room and service. The friendliness of the staff.
The breakfast was ok but for the price there could have been more cooked options.
beautiful place, very good service, nice rooms, great scenery, good location, ...
wi-fi disconnected automatically after only some minutes. I had to logon so many times.
Nice staff. Traditional rooms with an atmosphere, not very modern but well maintained and CLEAN. Nice and heated pool. Good breakfast, very nice when we could sit outside. Very nice and helpful staff. Only a short walk to Biot village.
The rooms. The view to Biot. The access to the pool. The heated pool. The pool area. The nice breakfast area. The atmosphere, small hotel, quiet and good. The staff is very friendly, knew our names, and bothered to learn the kids name. The kids got served hot chocolate every morning! Close to Biot, 10-15 minutes to nice restaurants. Close to bus stop and a short drive to Antibes. Michel was very very friendly and helpful.
Location is great. Staff friendly, competent, and helpful. Room is large with a patio and outside furniture. Property is beautiful with peaceful view.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room very comfortable indeed; easy to get to from the coast and for Sophia-Antipolis, a really nice into and up to the old village of Biot with some good restaurants.
A probably unjustified criticism - this hotel would be fantastic to stay in the summer, but was less cheerful in a wet spring. The hotel had only just opened after the winter though. The wifi was tricky, I had to re-enter details every time I opened my iPad, and sometimes in mid-session
