Most amazing location. We loved every minute of our stay. Sabine and Thierry were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed two excellent dinners cooked by Thierry. We shall definitely be back. We also spent time walking through the gardens and woods seeing the horses and donkeys.
Lovely place to stay if you want total peace and quiet. Excellent host who was very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. A very peaceful, restful place to stay away from everything.
A bit tricky to find. Don't drive into the vineyards as we did! Will need your own car.
Location, location, location - hard to find and all the better for it. Private parking. Good wifi. Excellent restaurant (Suty) nearby in Dormans.
Suite full of cutesy knick-knackery, all a bit IKEA and "It seemed like a good idea at the time".
very idyllicy situated (small lake, donkeys, swans ...); the room was really big and lovingly furnished; the hosts are very helpful (tipps for tasting champagne etc); great breakfast
difficult to find (even with navi), no signs. no restaurant within walking distance (you have to drive to epernay)
we loved the picturesque and quiet location excellent hosts
beautiful place; wonderful breakfast; really nice and clean rooms
its difficult to find, you need to phone.
Lovely rooms in a beautiful setting Very friendly hosts
Quite difficult to find...
quiet location, a great hostess who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the region, and a lovely breakfast.
The rooms were individual, stylish with original paintings on the walls. The situation was quiet and Madam Sabine was welcoming and provided a lovely breakfast. Ambience fantastic
Everything Room cool and comfortable despite the outside heat.
It was 36 degrees outside so everyone was a bit hot.
Wonderful location, hosts very friendly and helpful.
Finding the property was the biggest problem suggest the location 47 06 20.4N & 3 46 05.71E is included in the instructions.
Lovely location run by a very friendly family.
A unique and excellent place to discover the champagne region of France. The hosts were extremely welcoming and we enjoyed an extremely lovely dinner cooked by Thierry and ate en famille in their interesting dining room. Certainly worth a visit.
Nothing to dislike about this place! A great find!!
Our Hosts, Sabine & Thierry, gave a very warm welcome. The location is lovely, very private and quiet, tucked away behind the village of Chatillon-sur-Marne. Reasonably well signed from the village. We travelled with my Australian parents so were in two rooms - superior suite and suite with sunny terrace - separate entrances but with a lockable inter-connecting door. Perfect for couples or even a larger family. Each suite was extremely spacious, with a separate living room area. Very well presented, decorated with Sabine's own artwork, clean, free wifi, tea/coffee, lovely continental breakfast. Go for a stroll around their private lake, chat to the animals (geese, swans, donkeys, horses). Surrounded by small picturesque villages, and a 20 minute drive to Epernay if you want a bigger town. Sabine's restaurant and champagne house suggestions were spot on. We hope to visit again!
Having to leave this beautiful place.
authentic atmosphere, very friendly people
great location, great host, nice breakfast
cold trip to toilet
Our rooms on the ground floor (a former stable in the long distant past) of this charming property were artistically decorated and very comfortable. In a wonderful hidden position with a large lake populated by various bird life including geese and a pair of Australian swans. Our delightful host Sabine was very knowledgeable about the Champagne area, and advised on a number of local champagne producers. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there, which gave us plenty of time to explore the surrounding areas.
Hard to find as our GPS kept sending us down an un-made road which involved fording a fast-running creek. After booking, suggest contact Sabine directly for detailed directions.
Very friendly host with suggestions on dinning plans, a traditional French house with country side decorations. The bed is comfortable and very decent breakfast served. A very large backyard with a small lake which you can spend in. Time
It is hard to find, as the gps cannot locate the house. Somehow our room has a bad smell and it last for whole night. It did run out of hot water in the middle of my shower.
