We had a wonderful stay at Domaine du Pegulier! Ann and Jacques are superb hosts, very gracious, hospitable and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The meals we enjoyed with them were amazing! Ann went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of and happy. She was awesome!. We are so very happy to have met the both of them and stayed at Domaine. We hope to return and stay much longer next time.
Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived. The owner's couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It really was perfect....
The owners tried very hard to make us feel welcome. The house was maintained very well and the swimming pool was clean and appealing as were the grounds.
Almost everything! Ann (the owner) is the incredibly lovely person. Thanks to her and her husband I felt for that 5 days like in the diffrent world: breakfasts were soooo tasty (selfmade marmolades, eggs ...); aperitifs and dinners (camembert soup - Ann I remember!). Our daughters is still hark Ann back :-)
my short vacation time :-)
The house is large and beautifully decorated; the guest rooms are large and spacious (more like suites or small apartments). The food was very good and there is a swimming pool and parking. The lady of the house, Anne, is very welcoming and helpful.
We took our five year old son, and although Anne, the hostess, obviously loves children, the accommodation is not suitable for families with young children. There are quite a few rules, especially regarding the swimming pool, so as parent, we couldn't fully relax. However, I would recommend for couples or adult groups.
The owners made us feel very welcome - part of the family. The room was very comfortable, lovely, well equipped bathroom, the location and setting rural and beautiful. The swimming was an added bonus with plenty of loungers around.
The intermittent wi-fi in the public areas was a very minor comment.
The charm of the "farm" chateau
Hospitality was not welcoming. Did not feel welcome by Hostess. Did not have a full set of sheets on bed, plus the sheet I did have felt like burlap to sleep on. Bath towels were coarse, not soft and fluffy. Bath tissue box was empty. Special note in bath for plug, yet no hair dryer was available. Not offered the availability of the pool on the property as others; Food services were soooo overpriced. Breakfast not included as in other properties of similar kind. Hostess did not seem customer service oriented....and several comments made to one or both of us seemed rude and uncalled for. Would not recommend this property to other Americans traveling to France....NOT welcoming. Free Wi Fi advertised, but is not strong enough to get info even on first floor. Definitely, need a more customer oriented hostess and some changes in items of the property for it to be rated as recommendable.!~!!
The hotel is managed by the owners and they really make you feel at home. Breakfast and dinner are optional but totally worth it. They have an excellent taste for food, wine and decor. We can't wait to be back in this small and precious B&B.
