The wonderful ambience of the setting. The views. Ultimate luxury and cuisine and wine choice superb. Wonderfully clean. Swimming Pool great temperature. Lawns exquisite for late evening.g drinks. Staff restaurant service excellent. A magnificent setting for business or family events or weddings. Altogether felt rested and pampered. Spa available also. We took a room in the castle wing for 3 glorious days.:)

The outside of the chateau is beautiful and it is very secluded, close to the coast.

Very expensive restaurant - overpriced for the quality of food. The cheapest wine on the list was approx £33 per bottle! The restaurant was very elegantly decorated but some of my food was overcooked. There were no recommendations for restaurants nearby so it was trial and error. The room, although well decorated, was a bit musty and dark with small windows as it was in the roof. We could not have the windows open at night because of the mosquitoes. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. A welcome pack of water etc would have been useful. A price list for drinks available would have also been useful in the room.

A really excellent location, luxuary castle, but easy going at the same time. A wine cellar with some 20.000 class wines. The chef made us a great vegetarian meal that we loved. A Pomeral wine of 1974 - the year of birth of Maudie - added to the romance. Everything looked a bit dated, like Ancien Régime combined with Seventies hippie. But we loved it. Not just another flashy standard luxuary hotel (don't they all look the same these days?). If you want something else, try it out. We loved it. Even our dog did!

Le cadre et le service au retaurant

J'avais voulu faire une réservation directe et je suis passé par votre site sans m'en rendre comptemerci de mieux montrer sur votre page d'accueil que vous n'êtes pas l'hôtel

Chambre du hameau vieille décoration, manque de chauffage et de confort. Mauvais rapport qualité prix

Sa tipicité; un endroit plein de charme, un peu magique, en dehors du temps présent; sa table, d'une grande qualité, notamment en matière de fraicheur.

L'équipement est un peu vieillot; la piscine n'était pas disponible.

Le diner était très bon

Certes hotel extérieurement très beau mais : chambre pas chauffée (fin novembre) et infestée de mouches !!! (on nous a préter une tapette) Le lit est plus que dur et inconfortable Les équipements indiqués sur le site (hamman + piscine) ne sont pas en état de fonctionner.. Bref à déconseiller

Cadre exceptionnel. Personnel charmant. Parc magnifique. Tranquillité absolue

Salle de bains vieillotte et peu ergonomique. Parking mal éclairé. Piscine couverte fermée en cette période de l'année, sans que ce ne soit précisé dans les infos concernant l'hôtel.

L'authenticité du site

Les studio mériteront bientôt quelques travaux de rénovation.

J'ai apprécié l'environnement et l'accueil.

La propreté de la chambre et la présence de toiles d'araignées plutôt déplacées dans ce type de demeure.

Site magnifique, beaux bâtiments. Excellent diner

Parc trés important mais pas trés bien entretenu. Signalisation légèrement déficiente. Décoration intérieure avec un mélange incohérent de styles donnant une impression de mauvais goût. Petit déjeuner assez pauvre.
