This hotel is conveniently placed near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations. All the soundproofed rooms were refurbished in 2007, and some boast a view of the Eiffel Tower.

very good croissant
the matress was too soft
Convenient for visiting the Paris-Sud university.
The bed is very old and not very comfortable. Breakfast options are quite poor. One morning there were no croissants, and the other the bread was stale. The toilet is a bit small (but that's very common in the Paris area).
Conveniently located near RER, restaurants and university campus. Rooms weer a reasonable size and mine had been refurbished. The room rate was very reasonable compared to hotels closer to Paris.
Public areas were very shabby.
Shower curtain made of fabric, why, why, why would anyone do that?
Breakfast was very nice. One reception staff was very good and friendly. He could speak English. Good wifi. Room was comfortable.
Another staff was friendly but he was taking care of his family all the time around the reception. Card key is always needed a few times scan to enter at the door of room.
Friendly reception staff. Good location, near train station, and within walking distance (10 mins.) of good restaurants in nearby Orsay.
In different years, I stayed in this Hotel in July. In both occasions there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night. On both occasions I was surprised by the complete lack of responsibility of the hotel staff. In one occasion the one member of staff in reception ignored all the 20 or so hotel guests assembled (locked in!) the reception area; in the other occasion there was no staff visible throughout the fire alarm. No information or guidance was given by hotel staff either during or after the alarm.
Close to work and restaurants
Lack of air circulators, (Fans, bathroom vent fans, air conditions) made the room uncomfortable in the afternoon.
Free parking inside
Very bad wifi, not very good room, not cheap
It was near to the science institute I was visiting.
The room and hotel was incredibly hot, even though the temperature outside was moderate to cool. I checked the radiators, but they weren't on, so I couldn't figure out why it was so hot. The stifling heat in the room made sleeping quite difficult. Furthermore, I found the lid of the toilet was broken when I arrived (although it did get fixed after two nights) and the light in the bathroom didn't work. Not a particularly pleasant stay.
Very satisfied – keep it up ! Recommend
easy to reach CEA-Saclay
wifi is too weak
The staff was wonderful. Kudos to a lady called "Daphne" which was particularly helpful finding food. Free garage. This is a BIG plus. Free wi-fi (but read the bad part). VERY clean. The place is calm, quiet and beautiful. Right next to the train station (unless you are lazy. It's 200m uphill).
The shower is a joke. I am not French, and I'm 1,84m (that's 6 and 7/16 ir you live in the past). I am not supposed to knee before a shower. Especially because the box is too small for me to knee. My feet stand out and then I make a mess. One day, no toilet paper. Next day, no soap. That kept on going. No food. There's a restaurant at the hotel, even mentioned in the city guide, which does not open. Not even for a night pizza/burger/whatever. No agreement with any delivery. So either you find your own way, or you starve after 9am. Internet uses some "orange" (the telco) authentication. Which pops up every 10 minutes. Worse on iPads or iPhones. What century is this, that we have to beg for an internet connection? The staff didn't know about a gas station at the city. I ignored their advice to take the highway. The thing is 800m from the hotel (half a mile if you are fat). There is one electric outlet per room. Either I had a lamp or a phone charger.
I had to ask for the shampoo and body gel since I revived only one monodose at the beginning of my stay. Then, after my request at reception, I was told that I have received one so they can not provide it anymore. There were three airdryers and the one provided to me was broken. No facilities for dinner and nothing around.
close to the campus and the RER station
- wifi never worked, only sometimes in the lobby - one plug in the whole room - tiny shower with no curtain and some mold below the tap - no glass of water or kettle or any equipment you would expect from a 75€ single-room
Location - next to Le Guichet station - easy access to Paris and CDG airport by direct train.
No evening restaurant, no bar, nothing close by that you can walk to, very basic rooms. OK if all you want is a bed and breakfast and move on - not somewhere I'd stay for more than a quick sleep.
Only reason to take this one is proximity to my workplace, quality/price ratio is NOT nearly the best one.
Room for two has no equipment at all - one chair, table, bed and one electric plug is everything you can find there; only closet was at the entrance corridor and has no shelves. Internet has barely enough signal to read the mail and refilling of soap in the shower was totally random.
Peaceful area close to the train station (which has direct connections to CDG airport and Gare de Nord).
The bed and mattress was old and sank into the middle. A slight movement from either me or my girlfriend would wake us both up. The only way we could solve this was to put the mattress on the floor. The wifi was also very unreliable.
Very near to the RER station; nice country atmosphere.
Some room detail could be improved: a surfance on which pto place the open suitcase, for example would be useful.
Good location, near RER station
Wi-Fi not available in some rooms
very near to Imagine Optic and very near to RERB station
room is small.Facility is simple.
My room was cold, they forgot to leave shampoo in the room, almost no facility in the room
This is a good hotel for access to Le Guichet RER station, and is close to the CEA in Sackley. Very convenient for a business trip there. It is in a quiet part of Orsay. The hotel itself is nothing special, but staff are friendly and there are no problems with it.
Clean and reasonably comfortable. Only a few mins walk from the metro. A few restaurants within 5 mins walk, the Tay Do served good vietnamese food.
Rather clean, and room cleaned regularly. A small desktop, close to a AC plug : all that is needed for business. Ideal location when visiting Orsay-Saclay universities. Breakfast OK (though not mind-blowing).
The wifi didn't reach the room, when it was announced available in all the hotel. Fortunately, I have unlimited data with my mobile phone subscription, which did the trick - but this can be problematic for other business travallers.
it is less than 5 minutes away from le Guichet RER station
the wireless didnt work so well for me
