Hôtel Du Château  

The Hotel Du Chateau is very easy to find using the booking.com directions. It is in a very quiet village, the only noise is birdsong and chruch bells. The owners were very helpful and spoke a decent amount of English and were also fluent in Spanish. The hotel was tastefully furnished, the restaurant was very busy with not only guests but people who had driven from other villages etc. The food was excellent, there were regional dishes as well as dishes that would suit someone who is not as adventourous. It was good value. The owners and staff went out of their way to accommodate you, I only booked for one night but stayed two as it was such a delightful hotel. It is centrally located for the area and makes an excellent basis for touring such a lovely part of France.

The only bad point I would say is that the internet is only in public areas and is restricted to 20 mins per day. I tried to buy extra time, but it was not possible and as I needed to be on the internet for longer, it proved a little problematic. However, in nearby Gramat is a public library which is open everyday 10am to midday and you can use the internet for as long as you like for €2, so that solved the problem and Gramat is a lovely little town to wander around and at the crossroads of virtually everywhere you will want to go to in the area.

un trés bon accueil , un hotel tres simple , trés bien disposé et pas trop loin des sites à visiter, un bon rapport qualité prix, je le recommanderai à mes amis

Bonne situation géographique entre Padirac et Rocamadour. Parties communes décorées avec soin. Petit déjeuner bien fourni et de qualité.

La chambre toute petite. La literie de qualité très moyenne (lit double ayant un matelas tout mou et un autre plus dur). Sanitaires sans prise électrique et la porte de la douche avait été remplacé par un rideau usé. La pomme de douche sans pression et avec des coupures d'eau chaude. La TV qui reçoit très mal et une ampoule grillée.

Très bon accueil, bonne restauration, propreté satisfaisante, personnel disponible, hôtel à retenir pour notre prochaine visite.

zeer behulpzaam voor alles beschikbaar enorm vriendelijk goede keuken men voelt er zich echt thuis vele tips voor uitstappen en vooral veel ontdekt wat niet of weinig in gidsen staat vele tips over hoe alles er daar aan toegaat en ook het zwembad een + ook en goede prijs/kwaliteit verh. = over alles 85%

Le séjour a été très apprécier mais suite a un temps pluvieux j'ai écourté d'une nuit a l’hôtel au lieux de 2 nuitée réserver au départ je vous le signale a la demande de la directrice de l’hôtel. Cordialement Mr Buron Philippe

Bon accueil et propreté de l'établissement

Manque d'espace aux toilettes,trés inconfortable pour une personne de taille normale alors pour une grande personne.....impossible!!!!

Accueil excellent. Chambre très propre. Personnel très agréable et à l'écoute de nos demandes.

L'accueil du personnel et la propreté. La piscine pour les ados cela permet de se défouler après plusieurs heures de voiture;

Fuimos muy bien atendidos por Valerie, que, por ser nieta de una española, habla muy bien el castellano y se preocupa por solucionar cualquier problema. Es una persona muy amable y servicial. El hotel cuenta con un buen restaurante y está a un paso de Rocamadour y otras localidades de interés turístico.

De eigenaren zijn erg vriendlijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel ligt gunstig om dingen te ondernemen in de omgeving. Wandelen, stadjes en dorpjes.

Het is niet echt een chateau en de kamers zijn niet erg groot.
