The lady behind the bar was very friendly even though she spoke no English & we speak no French. Do buy a pizza from her or try the salad over the road, but just not on a Sunday. Nothing is open in the village not even the hotel bar.
The WIFI was good.
Firstly the so called breakfast, only cakes, bread, 1 jam, no fruit, yogurts, cheese, no plates, we used our saucer from our cups, ervery poor. No one there to serve you just get it yourself! Flies everywhere, €8 each joke! There is no access for tea or coffee in your room, the main light in room was on all night, when I told the housemaid in morning she jestered to us to unscrew the light blubs & then in French, not 5 star", well that she did get right.
Do not eat at the restaurant associated with hotel, it's up the road about 400 mts. When they ask if you are from the hotel you are put out the back in a poor excuse for a sunroom. None of the conversation is in English only french. Then the menu arrives! All we could understand was soup, omelette & what my husband thought to be chicken salad. It turned out to be chicken livers on lettuce with a lot of oil, not nice. Then the soup I think they scraped the bottom of the saucepan from last month for this yuk! Too isolated, nothing around or open on a Sunday. Reims about 20 ks south.
