Hotel Du Cheval Blanc    

Peor que cualquier pensión española. No sabemos como otorgan las estrellas en Francia. Viejo, mal atendido y desastroso en general. Nos dejaron en la calle sin darnos el código de entrada y nos tuvimos que meter por una habitación que estaba abierta a las 11 de la noche porque no había nadie encargado.

Nos metieron en una habitación que desprendía un fuerte olor a humedad.

La ubicación es muy buena, está muy centrico del pueblo de St. Rémy. Tiene parking en la puerta del hotel, Hay A/A y calefacción. El precio está bien.

Esta bastante viejo y hace años que no se reforma. El pasillo huele a humedad y malos olores. No tiene asensor!!! Cuidado si viaja con personas mayores!!!!!!!! Las paredes divisorias de las habitaciones carecen de insonorización.

El desayuno, la higiene no esta mal, el trato ha sido profesional

La decoracion del hotel, las paredes pintadas de negro y violeta,provocan oscuridad total, no hay ascensores

Me ha gustado la ubicación del hotel, el desayuno en la terraza y el personal que fue muy agradable con nosotros. San Remy es precioso y de noche tiene muy buen ambiete por la zona de la casa de Nostradamus.

No nos gustó la habitación. Nos llevaron a los sotanos practicamente. Se notaba que era la parte donde dormia el servicio de la casa antiguamente. La habitación estaba a la altura del suelo y era algo pequeña. El baño a mejorar la limpieza e instalaciones.

Muy buena ubicación, cómodo y limpio. Buena relación precio-calidad. Muy buena atención del personal de recepción del turno tarde y noche.

Falta de mantenimiento. Mal olor de las cañerías en el baño.

When,after an eleven hour trip , saint remy's" le mas saint joseph" coldly refused to honor my four month reservation because i showed up in a travel scooter; i arrived with only twenty minutes notice ,at "le cheval blanc",as an elderly lady, in a state of shock over my treatment, exhausted,and depressed, to find tall,enthusiastic,empathetic Pascal,who promptly lifted my spirits with his energetic bounding up and down the staircase ,kindness, and help ( he secured handicapped train reservations for me) one of my favorite people in france .Regis was also wonderful ;insisting he carry my heavy scooter up and down the garden steps; checking it out mechanically ,and putting together my substitute walker, when it finally failed .and pretty stephanie .The hotel is next door to cinema ,only two doors from the town square's wen. market ;charming jules verne carousel; cafe de place's wifi and "tonic"petit dejeuner; and the brasserie du congress's "Nostrodamas" salad.the hotel itself also has a nice breakfast on it's high terrace. .

as an artist who loved saint remy ; i wish their graphics related more to the town (vs. sea and nature ).

Great central location; very reasonably priced; clean and comfortable.

The price of the room, on arrival, was a little higher than that quoted on the internet. However, this issue was resolved speedily and to our satisfaction.

Ideal location in the heart of San Remy. Lovely olive trees right outside our large French windows overlooking the garden courtyard. Tasteful decor and pleasant garden terrace breakfast area. A sweet and helpful staff including Sophia and Stephanie who agreed to do our laundry for a very reasonable price. Very clean and quiet and romantic. A fantastic bakery right across the street.

The router for wifi connection did not cover the distance down the hall to our room and so we had to sit in the lobby or outside on the garden terrace to use our laptops. Not so bad, but a little inconvenient late at night.

Location, staff was very helpful, atmosphere.

Couldnt ask for more from a 2 star hotel. Really great for price. Centre of the city. Perfect location. We stayed for 4 nights and could have happily stayed longer time permitting. St remy is a beautiful location.

Hotel was clean and all basic amenities worked. Staff was friendly and helpful and location right in the middle of the town.

There was a bull festival going on in the town which made nights quite noisy.

Location is nice and there are two beautifull olive trees in front of it.

Staf was rather rude. I was chocked cause I had read good opinions in the comments. But it's perhaps the worst hotel I have ever been, I really hated it.

If you want a hotel in a good location that is a reasonable price, clean room and bathroom. We were out doing touristy things all day and don't need anything more than what the hotel provided so were happy.

no access to the kitchen, no kettle at room, thin walls - don't stand if you have problems with sleeping, people were watching tv most of the time.

An excellent hotel 2 minutes walk to the cathedral and centre of town. Parking in front of the hotel. Everything was clean and nice, although the decor was old-fashioned. Very good and quiet airconditioning. On the next corner a brasserie offered 3 courses for e18.50 - excellent value and friendly service. Waiter even spoke English. Breakfast - a pot of tea or coffee. Orange juice, bread, butter, cheese, jam, apple puree was adequate for e7. A fridge/freezer in the entrance hall was available for guests to use. A really good base for touring this part of Provence.

Good towels, working air conditioner.

Run down. Hallways smelled funny. Reception did not offer any small maps of the town to find your way around. Horrible parking options. Would not recommend this hotel if you are staying in town more than one night.

Nothing. It was awful.

Deadfull experience.Arrived at hotel late at night. Asked to pay in advance for the whole 4 night stay. When we discovered that instead of being given the room we booked for (double comfort room) we were given a triple single bed room we agreed to stay only for 1 night and paid for the night and breakfast. However as we discovered that the door lock was broken and would not lock we decided to leave immediately. The owner would not reimburse our money, lied to booking.com that the door did not have a problem, attempts to discuss the issue in english resulted in the owner claiming she could not understand us, and when we tried to resolve the issue in French she told us she was too busy to bother with us! Booking.com took it upon them to refund us the money.

The location was fantastic and having breakfast on the balcony was a delight. Staff were very helpful, however, english could be a problem at times.

Traffic is noisy if you have your window open

The staff were very helpful, Our room was comfortable with fresh carpet. For the price it was in a covienant location only 100meters from the main town square. Although as they were booked the next night they helped us find other accomodation in town which if you want ot spend 20 Euro more was great value Van Gough offered a pool , lovely grounds and 5 mins walk to town. For this price Hotel Du Cheval was great

The other couple staying were in the next level and said they heard abit of noise from town and there room had stained carpet

La climatisation dans les chambres. Bon accueil dans l'ensemble.

le petit déjeuner un peu léger, ce doit être ce qu'il appelle "continental". L"écran de télé vraiment petit.

la proximité avec le centre ville.

La mauvaise isolation phonique - le petit déjeuner minimaliste - le WI-FI ne fonctionne pas - Stationnement insuffisant pour les occupants de l'hôtel.
