Convenient location with good parking at reasonable price Ancient radiator did not warm up. Asked reception twice if it could be adjusted. Were told that there was an additional blanket. Frosty October night, we slept in fleecey jackets ! Would be ok in summer

Receptionist was very friendly and efficient, parking was available in brick garages. The town of Troyes is very interesting with many old buildings to see and wander around. Decor was tired and the facilities need a little tlc, but this was Ok for an overnight stay.

Recepionist very friendly and helpful. Location in relation to local attractions very good for a cheap hotel - an easy 5 minute walk from the old town. On-site parking. The breakfast was very poor quality - I would suggest not bothering with it. Also, this hotel is cheap, so the decor (very old fashioned) and actual location of the hotel (not the most inspiring area to say the least) are not the best. To be fair, I did chose it based on price and it was perfectly adequate to be used as a place to sleep in after a long drive/few beers!

Very helpful and knowledgeable receptionist. We paid extra for a garage to park the car. Breakfast very good Hallway and reception area rather drab which gave the wrong impression as the room was very bright and airy

Good location and garage parking. Very cramped en suite - getting out of shower unit difficult. General level of maintenabce poor. Is it usual to have to climb up on bed to put ceiling fan on? Breakfast disappointing.

Not bad for the price but very basic. Clean room which was ideally placed for exploring Troyes. Good parking (extra charge). Helpful reception staff. Poor breakfast - really wouldn't bother, very small shower.

It was within an easy walk of the old town with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Perfect as a cheap transit stop on our way back to the UK from the south of France.

We stayed twice at this hotel. The car had the best deal with a lock up garage behind electronic gates. The bedroom was clean but minimalist and the wash/shower room was uncomfortably small. The fan did not work on a very hot day.

Ideally placed for visiting and exploring Troyes. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The receptionist was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. He willingly advised on places to eat. The hotel is basic, probably what you expect from a 2* hotel and we were a little disappointed having come from a more rural hotel that cost about the same. However we were only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Troyes so the car stayed parked and I was free to drink with meals. Excellent. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers due ti its location but if you want luxurious rooms then look elsewhere.

Friendly staff We might have reen unlucky with the room allocation but room and bathroom in serious need of refurbishing: paper peeling off the wall in numerous places, shower small and rather grotty. A very disappointing hotel, in spite of the friendliness of the receptionist. Next time, we'll make sure we see the room before paying!

Nice staff, great parking, good location. The wall is so close to the toilet that one simply cannot sit down to the toilet. It may sound funny, but it is incredibly uncomfortable and awkward. The bathroom is dirty and dusty. One of the beds slopes - it was rather like a mountain, so sleeping is difficult.

Price is value for money. The hotel can do with better sound proofing. You can hear sounds from the neighbouring rooms.

The breakfasts were very good, and the receptionist (a Man), was reasonably effective. What was very poor were two things: there was no lift, so we had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to our bedrooms on the top floor. For 2 women over 80 it was quite difficult. In addition the shower in my room was appalling! very narrow, with a sort of glass hafl-door that one had to squeeze through to get into the shower and switch on the water. It was really quite dangerous. I fell into the shower once because it was so difficult to get over a foot- high step and through the narrow glass door. Finally, the hotel was on the outskirts of the town of Troyes and we had to walk a long way to access the shops etc

Receptionist very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about both the hotel facilities and systems and the town attractions. The location was great only a 5 minute walk from the old town centre. Outside secure parking was a real bonus. This is a fairly basic hotel ideal for a stopover whilst touring as it is so close to everything that you would want to visit in the city. We paid on arrival which made check out very quick which when touring is a boon. Bathroom was very small and cramped.

The location is convenient for exploring the beautiful town of Troyes. The hotel is extremely dated, with mould in the bedrooms. The beds have foam matresses, and were very uncomfortable. It was expensive for what it is (more like a hostel), and I did not appreciate having to pay before we saw the room, and then having to pay tourist tax, 10 euro for parking and 7 euro each for breakfast!! It is without doubt the worse hotel we have booked through booking.com! Please take my advice and don't stay here.

We liked its proximity to the lovely city of Troyes and the very secure parking. We also enjoed the relaxed feeling in the hotel and the excellent wi-fi connection (free)The guy who checked us in/out and served breakfast was very polite and helpful. As with all of my reviews on this trip, We enjoy a cup of tea or coffee lasthing at night but there is no facility for this. I would happily pay them for a tea tray.

An old hotel recently redecorated, due to uncarpetted rooms and poor sound insulation the hotel can be noisy. Although close to the centre of town the hotel situation did not inspire us to leave the car, paying the extra for on site parking is recommended. Having stayed in lots of hotels in France we believe this hotel is over priced, the view of other guests also. Although the Booking Com paperwork stated the hotel would be available for occupancy from 1400hrs in practise on Sundays it does not open until 1800hrs leaving us hanging around for four hours, to be fair the staff pointed out that this is list in the booking paperwork, but in very small print, this is an issue that Booking Com should address

location: close to the center, the massage shower The description said that the rooms were all uniquely decorated, whereas the room was without any decoration and really basic. There was no reading lamp and when I complained about it, instead of being sorry about it, the receptionist explained to me the reason why there wasn't one and also why this is not a problem at all.
